  • Luminaire tape front and aluminium grille

Hi, still has to wait for my red FK3 about 2 weeks, but I am always looking for optical improvements. My problem is that I don’t like the continuous lighting tape at the front. Does anyone have any idea if there is an aluminium grille in the style of the new type R that can be installed? In a different forum I have recently seen n picture in which the middle part of the lighting tape with very dark tint foil was glued over with a black civic. e really cool out, unfortunately only have the link no longer. But I’m not sure what it looks like on enm red Civic. Maybe someone else also has another solution. Greetings

  • Audio connection of an HDD to the radio

Hello! I don’t have a question here, but an info for everyone. There is an adapter to buy in Hungary (that’s where I come from), which makes it possible to attach a hard drive on any radio. I personally was looking wildly for it here in Germany without result. if this is already available, I like to laugh at it, if not, you know now. Since I have not found this here is now a DVD player in the dare with me. I don’t know now spontaneously how the adapter means, I will inquire however. Came to the idea to tell you that, because you like to talk about Ipod ́s and HDD ́s. that’s all. safe ride wishes you, marton

  • Strange suspension noise (?) at the FK3

So yesterday I noticed it for the first time, today in the morning then again: If I drive with my FK3 over a light road elevation (even at a very low speed), then it creaks and creaks quite terribly from the left front, so actually very close to where I am sitting while driving. But not always, but actually rarely anyway. Nevertheless … The sound sounds about as if I was sitting up somewhere, somehow such a grinding noise, but it can nic I got out yesterday and found that it can’t be possible at this point that I sit up. Today the same thing. It was just a small wave in the road surface, that’s all. So I certainly didn’t sit up. Then I thought about the tank – but it can’t be either. Even if the fuel hits the tank wall, it never sounds so horrible and loud. It definitely can’t be! Then I thought about harmful shock absorbers. In addition, my FK3 was delivered in June 2006 and the new shock absorbers were already installed. Apart from that, I had NEVER problems with it until yesterday. Yesterday at mileage 10.150 I noticed it for the first time. It only takes a short time, maybe 3 seconds and then it is over. Could not notice any damage in the driving operation so far, the car is as always safely on the S And since yesterday I’ve been driving about 130 km and the noise has occurred twice, each time I ride over a slight bump in the asphalt surface. I don’t know what to do. If the noise comes up a few more times now, I’ll probably have to go to the workshop. I’ll watch it.

  • Reflections on CR-V

Hi guys, I’ve already written a lot about the CR-V and now I want to contribute my part. I’m excited about the shape and the interior of the vehicle and it doesn’t get out of my mind either. However, there are some points I don’t like and where I think that Honda saves on a vehicle that can cost more than 40 000 euros and does not meet the requirement as a premium product and withholds my purchase decision. Lights: Even the dealer could not tell me if BiXenon is installed. However, it can be easily clarified during a test drive. No CH and FH function of the headlights. bonnet has to be held with rod, so no gas pressure dampers. Doors or hechgate have no position lights. A course guide in this class. Foot interior lighting must be ordered and paid for. Doors do not close automatically after reaching 15km/h. No drawers under the seats. Passenger seat not height-adjustable. No memory function with the electric seat adjustment. No CD changer with Navi possible. Alternatively for more than 200 Euro Ipod connection. Armrest of the rear seat is a misconstruction. Medium level in the luggage compartment is only up to 10 kilos loadable and thus not to be used for everyday use. Rear doors were not properly installed with 6 vehicles/column dimensions. for the diesel is to be delivered, hopefully will change by 2008. That’s all I can think of.

  • FK: opinions up to 20 inches

it will probably be checked rims up to the size of 20 inches. because I find that even 19s look relatively small. yes I know those are certainly severe that doesn’t come before… but I’m an optik-fetischist.http://www.tuev-sued.de/rtc/news/en/plan2006.html

  • CRX (1987 – 1992)

Hello together, for many years I have always loved the purchase of a CRX of the series 1987 – 1992 (124 HP), which has always fascinated me. Many years ago I was still deterred by the relative high used price. Years have passed by years and the prices have dropped considerably. I would be interested in opinions of today’s owners, who are still driving the CRX of this series. Especially, how high the susceptibility to repair – with regular Pfleg e/Maintenance- after now 15-20 years, which this model series has meanwhile on the hump. What is a currently fair price (-range) for a well preserved model (without tuning extras etc.)? Are there particularly eye-catching flaws? Would I be pleased about feedback! Thx und Gruß Redfoot

  • Honda presents new diesel engine in Geneva

Honda will present a completely new diesel engine at the Geneva Motor Show in March. More information here:Clean diesel engine of the next generation As a further technical innovation of the company, a diesel engine of the next generation will be presented in Geneva, whose emissions could be reduced to the level of a petrol engine with the help of a worldwide unique technology. The new NOx catalyst works with an innovative system that converts oxides of the toxic NOx into harmless nitrogen (N2) by means of a reductive ammonia reaction. Unlike conventional, selective catalysts (SCRs), which work with injected urea, the innovative Honda technology uses the ammonia produced in the catalyst. Honda plans to introduce the new diesel engine within the next two years. i years in the USA. www.honda.at

  • Honda Jazz or Toyota Yaris?

To all jazz drivers, do you also have the Toyota Yaris in your sights when you buy it? And why did you choose jazz, or what are its advantages over the Yaris? MFG AZS

  • Honda Crv Diesel no vending machine!!!!!

Hello I would like to come again to the topic Diesel and Automat at the new Crv. Can someone tell me why Honda does not offer the CRV with Diesel Automat. I think Honda makes a big mistake there. Know several people who would buy the CRV immediately, but only as Diesel version with Automat. Toyota also makes the same mistake with the new RAV and the 170hp Diesel. Gruss, Höfi

  • Civic FK: Nighthawk Black Pearl

So, have my FK3 sport for exactly 18 days now. Dealer has sent him for treatment through his washing system and I have washed him with my hand since the collection SINGLE PRECAUTIONS. Yesterday in the sunlight then quite many micro scratchers in the paint, which seem to have somehow increased despite careful hand wash. Now a question to all, who have the FK with the Nighthawk Black Pearl: Am I an individual case or is it also possible? What do you generally think of the Lackquali Do you notice the pearl effect of the paint when the car is in the sun? I am one day after the pick-up with a damp leather cloth over it and had micro scratchers in it. The paint seems to be very thin.
