Hello together, my Cee “twinks” me permanently for some time when I use e.g. the leaving home function. Sometimes apart from broken veals or similar: can this be due to a fuse or are these the bulbs? Better sound in the 850er Kombi
Moin, after the collapse of the factory radio, I installed a Sony radio with 4×50 W in my 850s. Unfortunately, the factory boxes (are probably soaked by the previous owner and therefore already dead anyway) are completely overwhelmed. My approach would now be to replace the boxes. The installation of a power amplifier is too expensive for me. Unfortunately, the box is currently only very economical equipped with boxes – the shafts on top of the console under the windshield are completely empty, in front of the door I don’t know what’s in the back doors, because I didn’t get the disguises. What would you recommend to me? Is there actually a crossover in there somewhere? There would definitely be cables in all shafts already. And where can I put boxes in there? cheers daskandalboy

Actually, I am a BMW driver, but on recommendation I have now switched to a Volvo V70, which I acquired yesterday. I come from the Osnabrücker country, my name is Jens, I am a family father, a child, 2 Labradores and I am a camping fan. So I like to travel through the countryside. To the vehicle: V70, 144 HP, built in 1997, electr. FH, ZV, ABS, T eileleder, radio cassette (that must be changed quickly ), cargo space cover, luggage separation net, aluminum wheels etc. The vehicle drives well and only got a large inspection 1000 km before, a short time before the Lambda probe was exchanged. Invoice about inspection is available, invoice about the Lambda probe, only the part, too. Now I have two three questions about the vehicle, since it is completely new for me. First, with the ZV the passenger door does not open. When I lock, I can’t unlock the trunk from the driver’s door. I think you can hear a crack, but nothing happens. The electric window lifter on the rear right works, unfortunately none of the driver’s door’s switch unit. Do you have any idea what it might be like to do it? I’m happy about constructive contributions.

Renewing front brakes
Hello together…. With me the brakes are at the front in the next 4-6 weeks. Documents and discs have done their job and have to be changed. Which brand do you guess like that? At w and g in Hamburg there is currently the set for the front offer for 100/100€. Which brand is behind it unfortunately not listed. I have seen a favorable offer from Barum….Barum is ATE, isn’t it? But something worse in quality I have read. I mean, the Skandix currently the price e for Volvo has reduced original brake discs. Wouldn’t be a possibility….I think the disc costs around 50€. Be happy about your opinions…. VG Bird

Mounting rootwood panels

After I want to upgrade my S70 with wood and leather (looks without, as I think, a little poor out for a car of this (price) class), but I read on the Volvo accessories homepage that the installation of the root wood panels is supposed to be quite difficult, I wanted to ask if one of you has already gained experience there. I don’t want to just pull something out of it or otherwise jump on it and also scrap something. a Tips and Tricks? And by the way: may someone also have a set of wooden blinds lying around at home? Standlight always on!?
Hello together, help my Volvo (V70II Bj 2002 with Xenon) understands the stand light function wrong! Despite the shut off ignition he always wants to leave the stand light on?! This happens when I stand the switch in position “Automatic dipped light”. In the Volvo workshop it was said that it was on the light switch. I disassembled it once, but could not detect anything suspicious (e.g. boiled smell, cracked circuit board) Before I buy a new switch: There are still and he possible sources of errors, e.g. relays, control unit, etc.? 850 – autom. air conditioning / strange control behavior
My autom. air conditioning has actually been having problems for a long time. Now that the cold season starts, it starts to get annoying again. The problem is to regulate the temperature. When I start with my TDI in the morning, the jets come out after about 5 minutes of warm air. For a diesel, actually, quite fast. The climate then heats well on about 20 minutes, everything is normal. After that, it suddenly starts to regulate the temperature down. Mostly first the driver side, then Then the passenger side. Then only cool air comes out of all nozzles. That stays for a short time (about 5 minutes) until it gets a bit uncomfortable cold. Then it gets warm again. That repeats on longer trips then. The climate is actually only switched on if necessary. But if I turn it on, the air is cooled down even further through the climate. Then I try to set the temperature higher (25C), nothing happens. The temperature remains constant cool. the temperature on max., comes immediately warm air from the nozzles. I have read out errors. Sporadic (approx. every 3 weeks) come “414/417 Stowage air sensor blower blocked” and quite rarely “Error 211 error at the signal of the damper switch”. I can delete the errors, after that is also quiet. I have already passed the flap adjustment program several times successfully (last one week). After that also no change. I had the climate control part already against my reserve part. l replaced. No change. Is this behavior more or less normal? Somehow the heating seems to be digital (on/off). What I find strange, when cold air comes, the temperature controller has no effect at all. My suspicion is that one or more temperature sensors provide incorrect values or the damper makes for the temperature mist. Unfortunately, I don’t get any corresponding errors. Although the error 211 indicates this, which comes only very rarely. Any idea?

Good morning! The C70 I is having two problems right now. One of them can be painful: the bonnet doesn’t stay reliably up. This bothers me especially when I have my head in the engine compartment. Question: Is there something that can be rectified or do I have to help myself with a latte? The second: The glass of the right headlight had at first only a tiny hole of a stone stroke. Then it became a crack that is slowly getting longer. Now I have a dealer in Engl But how do I get the headlight out to change the glass? This seems to be completely different with this car (C70) than with the V70. Do you know any instructions on how to build the headlights? That would be very helpful. Thank you!
