Hello dear community, now that the money for holiday jobs is there, I am once again so free to bring my moose further to the front.Becoming: -new exhaust system (middle silencer) -loudspeaker in front door+D-pillar -Hydro bearing -3.brake lamp Now to my questions: I have 2 possibilities with the exhaust: -original for 312€ -the plant of Walker for 165€ Does anyone have experience here with the plant of Walker? The main thing is that it lasts so 10 years. At the moment it is just high school I’m not sure why I’d rather have a small buffer. Later on I’d like to get a stainless steel system. The rest is already regulated (thanks to chaos1994 ). With the brake lamp I have only one question: does someone have this clamp flying around, which holds the lamp in position? Is this number 20. 2 errors / problems with the radio SC-805
Hello together! Someone can help me? In my V70 I (Bj 1998) a Radio SC-805 is installed (radio and boxes from factory). 1. It happens again and again that the radio becomes mute when braking for about 1 – 2 seconds. This happens again and again, but is not reusable. 2. With the same car the left boxes (front and back) are put out again and again completely. Also here completely irregular. It is also not vibration – or knock dependent. I have already paid 2 hours of troubleshooting in the workshop -> unfortunately without result. Both mistakes occur since I bought the car (it was then 8 months old). Reliable as one is often, I am not immediately in the factory saddle and later the guarantee was over. If it doesn’t want to help neither knocking nor driving bad roads, on the other hand it happens even at low speed on the best roads. It would be great. if someone had tips for me.

Blinker control
Hello werte Gemeinde I bought a new moose about 2 months ago. (850, year of construction 95)http://www.ebay.de/…/261524657199?… So far everything is in order and also the TÜV in mid-August he got unreserved. Unfortunately the then salesman is no longer available for me (why always) and therefore I have to ask the question here. He has installed a “blinker control” for the good one, which worked well until a few days ago. I don’t know where to start with a troubleshooting. Do you have any ideas? Best regards!) But unfortunately, it’s no longer possible. And since I don’t have so much screwdriver knowledge, I don’t know where to start with a troubleshooting.

V70 1.6 DRIVe cylinder head gasket again?
Hello, I had the ZKD changed at our V70 1.6 DRIVe 2016 at Volvo, at approx. 170,000 KM, now at 220.000 KM the message “cooling water level low” comes regularly with longer motorway rides and around the balance tank it is moist. On the container is permanently overpressure, even if the car has cooled down and then pushes the level again over the Min mark when opening. Autowerkstatt has checked the cooling system.. “everything dense”.. also no CO2 measurable.. Before approx. one Half a year I had a massive wild damage (8,000 euros damage), in which also the complete cooler was replaced…. the problem with the cooling liquid then occurred 8 weeks after the repair on a longer highway ride at high speed. Free workshop suspects cylinder head seal. Is it conceivable that with a V70 after within 50.000 KM twice the cylinder head seal is defective? Is another damage still conceivable in connection with the wild damage? I’m grateful for your ideas.

Presentation of mobile phone holder
I was looking for a mobile phone holder for my moose, but I didn’t find anything. By chance, I came across holders that are mounted in the slot of the CD drive. The highlight is that you can still listen to the CD. The prerequisite is, of course, that there is already one in the shaft. The assembly is easy. I chose this model. I liked that the lateral holding brackets automatically close when the cell phone is inserted; no change of position. That’s what it looks like.

XC60 T5 VEA
Hello! Last week, after only 6 weeks delivery time, my new XC 60 T5 VEA with 8-speed GT arrived. Actually I wanted the T6, but is only available at the end of the year. Before I had an XC60 D5 AWD (230PS) 6-speed GT (MJ 12), which was however too loud to me. Therefore the T5 with laminated glass is a benefit! Super quiet and spontaneous, a 6-cylinder I do not miss. Consumption with the first tank filling 9.2 liters (board computer shows 9.3 liters). So similar to the D5. e after some time fall below 9 liters. So, who is looking for a quiet alternative to diesel, is right here. Pictures of course also available… Kalli

Question about the Volvo V70 D5
Hello in the round, currently I think about buying a Volvo V70 D5 (first registration – 2015 ) station wagon. I have already found some interesting offers on the net. Since I would like to do without certain equipment features I would like to have a question about retrofitting. All interesting offers so far where price / equipment and kilometers fit for me mostly lacks the “Totwinkel assistant ” this is personal already important to me. Can one buy this retrofit ? Since it could possibly become my first Volvo, and someone would still have hints or things to look out for in terms of the model, I am grateful for every tip.

V60 D3/D4 or V50 150PS Diesel purchase advice over 150,000km???
Hello municipality, I’m thinking about getting a Volvo V60 D3. But it already has just over 150,000km on it. How long-lasting are these engines? First registration is 11/2010 Alternatively, I have a V50 2.0 150hp diesel in mind.

Hi, everybody! I’m about to buy a long sought-after car, namely a 850er as a limo in ruby red metallic with beige interior equipment, BJ. 91 The vehicle corresponds exactly to my idea in terms of colors and extras (e.g. glass sliding roof, AHK, climate, fog lights etc.) The mileage is 215 000. Since I don’t have much experience with the cars of the first series, I would be interested to know which weaknesses you have to pay particular attention to here, which is very difficult. (The KM counter has been broken recently, i.e. probably VDO, climate works) Thank you! PS: Was there 91 already the stainless steel entry rails as accessories, is the antenna always electric? The car should mature for a longer period of time to the oldtimer, therefore I aspire to the original condition

Valve shaft seals from Elring or rather original Volvo
Hey guys, I want to go up to Hamburg soon and change my valve shaft seals with Markus. I had already ordered the material (VSD and Simmerrings) from Elring from a friend over the workshop. Markus advised me yesterday to the original ones of Volvo. I don’t want to question Markus’ advice here. I trust in his experience. But I have the things there and can’t return them without loss (20%). So I wanted to I don’t want to start the whole thing from the beginning after 20tkm. After the 2nd engine change in 1.5 years I (and especially my wife) have slowly enough work on the engine. Who actually produces the seals for Volvo. Thanks for the discussion. Janko
