Hello, now I’ve read so many times about all the sparks (twisted cables and coils) and now I can’t find what manufacturers you can recommend here.. with keyword search come many threads, but most will quickly OT and forever long. My V70 is just standing in the workshop and I have to say as fast as possible if I want to have something specific. Something similar to Bodycount?

Recently at the XC 70 in Norway … or: who offers more?
Hejsan. See photo: Who offers more (was already so similar here)? The limit of 80 km/h saves quite neatly… By the way, was in the north, at least to Narvik, of which the whole Kystriksvej 17 (immediately!) and in Sweden the domestic vans back. Didn’t know that the XC 70 in N and S soooo is frequent (taxi, police, ambulance etc.). Every other with handlebars and auxiliary headlights, does not look bad – but unfortunately have no photo… If I almost had had had my changed, starting from he the OHL was not thrilled… Greetings wg

V50 D5 Brakes “smoky” since changing the surface?
Moinsen together, Must unfortunately ask again in the round, after my D5 ran for quite a long time without murmuring: After current customer service with the friendly, among other things the brake pads were changed at the front… Problem since: The operation of the brake pedal is clearly “smoother” or softer than before. Where already quite at the beginning of the pedal path a rather crisp and defined pressure point was present now nothing the same! what’s going on since then, in the stand you can suddenly push it through almost completely without any significant resistance until back pressure comes – and I like that more than nothing! I have never experienced the latter before. Even with light rollers short tap and the box stood abruptly! But that was once. With “foreigners” the brake was therefore rather dreaded until then… In the friendly immediately quite unsettled, mechanic and master confirm my egg ndruck: “feeling funny” and “is not normal”. Everything checked; no air in the system, braking performance in order, no leaks, filling level o.k. etc. Rear brakes also checked immediately and (after the customer service!) found that they were somewhat difficult – was then fixed. Since the rear brakes were the only thing that could be found as “mistakes” and the braking feeling was then slightly better than before the troubleshooting was set. The brakes, however, are still far from reacting as crisp as before… And now finally my question: Has anyone ever experienced, seen, heard anything like that??? Does anyone have any reasonably plausible idea about it? I admit that the car is slowing down. However, in my eyes still not as usual – and among us: it just feels like…! Since this was completely different until the customer service, something must have changed in the meantime – but what? ?? Guess from the friendly one would still be that something could have changed in the composition of the (new) brake pads (compared to the old ones). For me little plausible… My guess that something could have changed with the recording of a software update, was rejected by the friendly one… Any ideas? I would like to return my “Bremsmonster” – with this “wacking pudding” I will not be happy! Thanks in advance for any suggestion!

RUD snow chains for XC70
Hello dear Volvo friends, can someone tell me if these chains: RUD Matic 4-0095 Art 45695 fit or are allowed for my XC70? If I see it right, the chains must also be mounted on the rear axle of an AWD vehicle. Is that so? Does anyone have experience with such chains on snow- or ice-covered road? Convert V60 to spare wheel.
Hello together, at the moment I have the tyre patch set in my V60, which I would like to exchange for a spare wheel. Reasons for this are, a) it has expired and wants to have half a fortune for the renewal, b) I don’t really trust the pampe, what helps the stuff if I scrape the flank somewhere in Lapland… Which parts do I have to trade here for or buy? Somewhere I had read that it also needs a special trunk floor, Is that true? By the way, if you’ve got the whole thing flying around with you and want to exchange/sell it, give me thanks for the help and many greetings

Simple replacement radio with MP3/USB
Hello, I’ve read a lot, youtube videos…can’t decide which Kenwood/Pioneer or China Radio I should take…or don’t find appropriate devices anymore… Which radio means the least effort, with regard to adapters and filing on the frame? I’m really getting lost and would be very happy about a few matching eBay links. There are so many Android devices…I’m reading something of non-functioning brightness control and active systems. .. :S It doesn’t necessarily have to be/have touchscreen, but please MP3/USB. I would like to spend approx. 250 euros incl. adapter and aperture. What do you build in 2021 into a 1999 V70 (850) for a radio so that it doesn’t look too funky and does not hurt the old look too much? Where is the least effort (adapter, file on frame etc.) and what does average sound for long trips offer? Loudspeakers and cabling leave everything as it is. Thank you for your attention.

Lamp for motor electrics. and ETS lights?????
With me the engine leaktr. lamp and the ETS lamp have been lit individually and also at the same time after restart of the engine nothing more. Today the engine leaktr. lamp has been lit and the engine has started directly and does not start any more…. WHAT CAN IT BE??? Help!!!! I am grateful for everything!!!

Stock jack rear axle Volvo C70 I
Hello, My Volvo dealer has claimed the bushings/bearings of the rear axle during the last investigation and said they have to be exchanged. It’s about these bushings HA (part number: 10000369/ 10000370) How do they change, must the whole rear axle be removed for this? What is about the time spent on a car mechanic with lifting platform and the usual tools. Thank you for the feedback…

Question to V70 drivers
I am currently driving a BMW e61 525d lci. What bothers me is the maintenance intervals, which always have something to beep at 3otkm a year (inspection, oil, brake front, rear,..), moreover, the insurance is considerably more expensive than Volvo. What does this look like with a V70 from 2007 on with similar driving performance: Are there also many criteria queried in different rhythms or is there still that the only good all 30tkm requires an inspection? What is there about the Zuv Allowability of the diesel incl. electronics/filters/auxiliaries etc.? Does anyone have any experience in comparison with diesel-combis Volvo/Audi/Mercedes/BMW?
