  • Sound back left VOL 2. this time really back left 😀

Hello Forum, I hope you don’t freeze your ass off like me? Have a noise again on my C70 (Ach wie ich mühe liebe) Some probably know my noise-theard back left of then when it didn’t come back left after all. but I swear, this time it really can reproduce from the back left. So it comes somewhere from the wheel suspension while up and cushioning. while driving I think it’s good through the suitcase room. sometimes at the rangie REN on uneven road covering and backwards it is quite loud. if I can hear it by hand at the trunk up and down spring from somewhere but it is not so loud. shock absorbers and dom bearings came not so long ago everything new 2, 3 years ago… have again tested all the fittings, everything fixed. put under the car and pretty much shaken at everything there is to shake. it probably only comes when you get up and cushion. about numerous tips I would be very happy again greetings gagi

  • The DVD player cannot read the DVD

Hello together, have the following error message with my Navi: The DVD player cannot read the DVD. Please check DVD. … After that I was in the service menu and took photos of the following messages. Can someone do something with it? Thank you very much.

  • Slacks in the gearbox

Obviously I’m not the only one with this problem. Was today with my dealer. The branch manager did without big if and but immediately a workshop stay. They want to examine this exactly before something goes wrong. At the moment certainly nothing happens, but he does not want that with 100’000 km or so suddenly a consequential damage occurs with which there is then discussion for guarantee. Either he really strives for absolute customer satisfaction (which I can confirm so far) or he knows something we don’t know…. how many times we talked about tuning. He told me that something was going on with Volvo at the moment. Various tuners are currently being tested and either Volvo will recommend certain products with factory warranty, or it runs out on its own tuning department à la AMG. Well then we are curious… Many greetings from the BEO Stephan

  • S80l polten front left. But the friendly finds nothing ??

Moin, a well-known problem with the S80I It is poltert on the front axle. Stabi, coupling rod already renewed. This morning I drive from the yard, hit the steering wheel in and “KWAAANNNNNn” bangs it in the axle. (Certainly extreme and unique. Otherwise it is only a poltern) Animally scared off to the Who can find nothing and Murphys Law prevented the demonstration of the noise. What else can that be? So they already believed me and it also for later complaints noted in the file. It’s crazy. It’s always on the front left. And sometimes the moose drags in the same direction. Sometimes, after bumps, it appears on the road, sometimes while steering, sometimes during a slight bend ride on the flat road and sometimes when the axle is relieved. (ground wave or similar). Very irregular and hard to reproduce Greeting Andre S80I T6 130tkm EZ Dec. 2002

  • Oil at the intake bridge and round engine run with warm engine

Hi Unfortunately, my moose drives me crazy. Despite changing from Dpf Egr valve difference pressure sensor solenoid valve or pressure transducer throttle valve It still runs modestly. In the meantime it can be reproduced. As soon as the engine reaches operating temperature it runs rough and jerking. In addition, the consumption increases. Now I noticed that at the top of the suction bridge everything is oiled. Now in the last time I noticed the phenomenon that the needle from the engine temperature completely It doesn’t matter whether it’s in city traffic or highway. As soon as it’s warm it doesn’t run normal and the power breaks down and consumption rises. Only in the city you notice it extremely. Someone else an idea? Thank you in advance

  • Chassis spring VA no longer available. Alternative? (V70 III 3.0 T6 AWD Geartr. R-Design Chassis)

Hello! I have a Volvo V70 III 3.0 T6 Geartronic AWD Bauj. 2010 in the R-design version with a sports suspension and level control installed by the factory (so everything original, nothing subsequently installed). The car (at first approved in Switzerland) has officially also installed the Heico tuning, but not the Heico sports suspension. It is a bit deeper and harder, but still relatively comfortable to drive (for me sounds like a combination of harder suspension springs and standard dampers. ) Now one of the suspension springs is broken at the VA and of course two should be renewed in a Volvo workshop for good money. Date was fixed for weeks and then Volvo-Sweden suddenly and unannounced in the delivery no suspension springs included. At the moment no suspension springs should be available, it was then in the Volvo workshop and it is questionable when and whether they will be available at all, because they were installed too rarely, namely on a Car model like my one with the heavy 3L-6 cylinder engine and Automatic and AWD. Sure, 2010 is already countless generations back, here still to expect spare parts, is already naughty by a Volvo customer. In the Volvo workshop they also gave me no part number, but wanted to become active themselves, which search and report to me. When then nothing else happened, I waited and waited, and they gave me between the lines clearly to understand that I did not want to f Avorized customers belong, so you don’t have to hurry, I am to an alternative car workshop and have now had the suspension springs and dampers renewed at the VA. Operation succeeded, but patient is now not to be recognized. The car looks now almost like high-bumped or like an XC70, while it is significantly lower at the rear. After my complaint one regrets this, but for safety I should now be original. Volvo springs for the car besor The car mechanic said that he saw before the installation that the new suspension springs were properly longer (5cm?) than the original ones, because the other coils had, he thought, they were still sitting down … Hmm …. And now I am standing where I was already standing before, namely in the rain. In the alternative workshop, I was given a Volvo part number 31255519 and said that I would be able to replace them for free and I would also get the money back for the wrong springs. would be the right one and I should get it. But here I have my doubts, was the R-design sports suspension considered this time?. I have now taken the remaining intact other suspension spring out of the workshop, photographed it and measured it, because unfortunately there is nothing written on it. 38,5 cm total length, 14.7 cm outer diameter, spring thickness 13.5 mm, 5 turns plus a 1/2 turn at the beginning and at the end. On the last big turn 3 large marking points are too Is this the suspension spring: 31255519 or rather not? And if not, what is the name of this spring so that I can try to order it somewhere. As I said, Volvo should not deliver any more, but maybe someone still has such suspension springs or knows which springs could fit in the car accessories? Somehow I tend to Eibach 30mm sports suspension springs, wants to but be sure to buy the right ones now … or are there any such suspension springs needed somewhere? It should be right for you … And: who is the manufacturer of the original Volvo suspension springs? They don’t do them themselves? Robin

  • Key problems

Good morning, I hope it’s okay if I start a new topic for it. I have been driving an XC70 since October, which has Keyless Go. Unfortunately, the everyday opening and closing is increasingly a challenge. I press the key, nothing happens. I press the button at the door, nothing happens. Sometimes it works out on the first attempt. Sometimes I pull the door handle, it opens. Sometimes I do the exact same thing, the door opens, but the Alar And often when trying to start the ignition/engine, he says “keys are not recognized”. I changed the batteries in both keys for new ones. An improvement didn’t bring that. In the end, it’s really annoying, because I can’t just get up and do it. The car is standing there like new, has no problems or any signs of wear or tear…but this topic is starting to make me really desperate. Does anyone have the same experience? What can you do with the achen or helps only the exchange of keys? Thank you in advance.

  • V70 Extension Selekt Warranty?

Hello municipality, the topic is already in one or the other form. Since holiday boredom, however, I quickly create a new thread I have just received from Volvo the offer to extend the Volvo Selekt for another year. Here the facts: What to do? I realize that nobody can look into the glass ball and it is ultimately a bet. In the first year I was paid a new power shift transmission by the insurance for 5,500 €. The next inspection will be carried out at the beginning of February in order to give me a picture of the technical condition (my current Volvo workshop is not the seller at the time). In the Ford forums, besides difficulties with the power shift gearbox on this engine, there are some capital damage due to sudden cooling water loss. In this case, I would be glad to have an insurance service. What does the swarm intelligence mean?

  • V70 driveE problems in the snow (DSTC)

Hello together, I’m on my way in the Bavarian snow masses with our B70 driveE from 2011. at the lowest gradients e.g. railway underpass I hardly get up the “nerg” with the snow smoothing. as soon as I give gas the wheels turn through and Dstc is activated/lamps lit. the gas is then immediately regulated down, so that the car may still progress. with 5 kmh. I am an absolute traffic obstacle, all other cars pass easily.. from Smart to 5er.B W.. what am I doing wrong? deactivate dstc? Driver training? I don’t feel safe, think almost the car is slipping. right back down the mountain…
