  • Polestar T6 tuned to 95 or 98 octan ??

    I’ve been on the road a little faster the last few days, and I’ve noticed a slight jerking while accelerating under load. No real dropouts, but clearly noticeable with load over 5000 revolutions. I’ve filled the last few times Super 95, but to have read my somewhere, Polestar would be tuned to Super Plus. I can’t find anything about it, but I’ve noticed that there are a few T6 Polestars on the road. I think I’m good?! Maybe someone knows more s. I will take Aral 102 or V Power at the next tank.   • Volvo 850 Blinkbox – slot 6 (control unit ignition system) without function

    Hello together, since my Swede is currently running like a bowl of nuts and I finally got the Bello, I could also hope to be able to read out a mistake. The problem: I get no feedback on slot 6. So nothing. Also no 1-1-1. Does jeman know the problem and what it can be? In 2, 3-7 I have been able to read out a lot of mistakes.   • 2.0 d Automat or D5 Switch or D5 Automat

    Hello all Have at the moment 3 vehicles on my list: 2.0 d Automat, 2009 (Facelift) with 92000 km for 22’900 francs, a D5, 2007, 118500 km, Automat, 19900 francs and a D5 2009, old shape, 59000 km, switch, 25700 francs. Are all summum and all from the Volvo dealer. Optically I like the latter best (know …). How would you decide? I have not driven a D5 switch yet, they are rather rare with us.   • Question to the tuning experts regarding C70

    Hello in the round, I have a question to the possible experts or the forenusers who have insider knowledge. I just get annoyed that my C70II with its 18″ tires on the side is swirling up quite a lot of dirt, because the wheels partly run outside the contour of the fenders. The consequences are clearly visible ! If someone has experience with it, someone knows spoiler constructions for the wheel runs and holme that minimize this pollution effect ? Or does it make sense good old dirt lapp How are the experience values of the C70 and C70II forenusers? Thanks for your possible answers..

  • Blind switches in the centre console

    Servus, there is a “blind” switch or not switch in the middle console with the cigarette lighter. The manual says that you can install accessories switches. Can someone tell me how to get a working switch for it or how the part is called? I looked at various parts websites and I didn’t find anything here… And just a Conrad toggle switch inside I find moderately ugly 🙂 thx Jo

Battery sign red-“Lima load no more” Ride about 100m (to let another passenger get on board) Place engine off-start new. Everything ok after about 50m-renew the battery symbol. Drive about 20min-city traffic. 30-40-50-60 Stkm with 3 ampelstops. Warning starts from alone while driving. Had 4 days grade approx. 200 km Aztobahnfahrt without Problems) To this day everything ok. Question: can it be the battery, which slowly gives up the mind? How old?, I don’t know. Or should the Lima, after all, be a three-phase machine without coal? Who has an idea? Ra.

  • Automatic gearbox jerks, oil change ?

    Hello, my friend bought a Volvo S60 D5 BJ 2002 with automatic and about 200tkm. After a week he noticed that the gearbox is jerking off at the intersection shortly before the stop. I asked my workmate this meant that the oil level in the gearbox could be low or a software update could remedy. I advised him that he should change the gear oil at this mileage times. Has anyone ever done this before? What about Do it Yourself ? How much is the oil and the oil filter or sieve? The workshop said something from 300€ -400€ including material and working time + rear brake blocks are also exchanged. she also said the 10L oil needed !!! That seemed a lot to me, is not a truck transmission. If the jerking should not disappear what else is there for sources of error? Thank you!

  • Heating has breathed out her life!

    Hello! First a happy new year! Today my (thanks to the forum’s tip, unlocked in Holland) heater with incredibly loud noises said goodbye. The heater had already for some time caused rattles and shoopers noise in operation. Oddly enough there was no error message in the on-board computer and I had to switch off the heater manually. This reacted with even louder howling and then went out after about 1 minute. Is there anyone here in the forum, the r works as a master or as a mechanic at Volvo and can give a few tips on how to set up and install the heater? I would like to take a look at it myself. Also workshop literature or details about the type of the heater would be helpful (Ardic type ??). Before now some well-intentioned advice ala “let’s rather the fingers of it”. My moose (S60 D5) will be in June 4 years and thus no longer a guarantee and I should be a trained automotive mechanic (is already what Otherwise, I find the Volvo quite logical and well constructed, if you don’t mind some typical “diseases”!   • V70 D5 is great, but what color?

    Hello Volvo-Talker, I’m new here and since the weekend completely convinced of the V70 D5. After a test drive with the A6 V6TDI and immediately following with the V70 D5 I was positively surprised: The A6 was very hesitant with the multitronic during the gas acceptance and only then went off. The D5 was much more spontaneous and went through even better. Besides, it likes very well with the 5-cylinder sound. Contrary to the “brubble” of the V6TDI that sounds simply more dynamic. And that even quieter than in the A6, i.e. ni Also the suspension comfort and the brakes were much better with the V70. The A6 jumps over uneven ground and has a bad braking effect in wet weather. So far I was more attached to the Audi and had found the V70 only from the price-performance ratio for interesting. Now I have become a convinced Volvo fan and will order it. Only what color??? I don’t want to drive a black or grey car, as the weather is often grey enough. On the pass. Red is too aggresive for me. Stay ash gold, moonstone, ice blue, scarab green and mistral green.   • Motos from after a short SH – do you know that too?

    Good morning, I observed a phenomenon this morning the second time: In the S80II the heater switched on too late by remote control, after 7 minutes the engine started (before SH switched off), immediately goes off again after starting. Restarted and everything is good. Had I already a year ago. Does not bother me, but is funny. Do you have that too? Nice day Andreas
