  • ABS Error report by AI ? 93er 850.

    Moin, and I have a question about a 93er 850. I changed the brake light switch as well as the pedal sensor or sensor, and then deleted the errors from the FS, thought everything Tutti everything fine, now the ABS lamp burns permanently in AI. Error memory on A3 -> 1-1-1. What can be now? Before the FS was extinguished, the lamp went off when the ignition started, too.

  • Engine damage at 90000Km

    Now it got me too! 2013 Xc70 D5. Diagnosis:Riss in cylinder 3 The problem should be known to Volvo and some here. A new engine would cost me, with 20% vulture of Volvo, about 1000€. What do you think? Sell better with engine damage for 13000€ or new engine and hope it will last longer than 90000 km?

  • Upgrade XC70 with auxiliary heating with FB Telestart

    Servus people, have a question in the round; I have an XC70 D4 AWD from 03/16 production 02/16. which has an original heater ex factory. But without FB, but only to control via the on-board computer. Etz I wanted to equip this heater with an FB, is much more convenient and better. Since I bought a Webasto Telestart Set T100 HTM now, because I wanted to fine-tune the temperature and ventilation with the FB. The Volvo dealer built this already before a few W but then somehow had no time to test the right one, because it was still warm… Etz I am back on site, because I finally wanted the FB to go too. Now comes the hammer… FB can’t be learned, because Volvo software can’t cope with the Webasto Telestart Set T100 HTM… i.e. they only had the set built in at the time without FB learning… Now you want to sell me the original Volvo Kit, the FB can then only turn on the heater without the e Possibility to change the temperature or ventilation etc by FB… Thanks… then the question whether you can not learn the T100 remote power supply to the original Volvo Kit was denied. Reason: With my set the T100 HTM is the cable set 5 adrig… With the original Volvo only 3 adrig… Well my question, is it really that you have a 72,000 Euro list price Volvo and then can not offer more exclusive FB?! Because according to Volvo there is no other FB set, because then there is only the the T91… Now the question to you, they have the one heater also only such a T91 or you managed to connect this T100. Mind you, if a heater is installed ex factory. Thank you. And yes, I am a bit mad at the dealer because he didn’t tell me that before the installation, but what should I do… I would be looking forward to tips now. Thank you very much.

  • Folding of the engine compartment at the front (motor grille)

    hallo@all, have a porblem with my bonnet or with the lever(s) on the front side of the car. if I pull the lever in the inside room, then lift the bonnet a bit………. the little lever is not to be seen, but fades back. what is the problem ? with a photo. this is a small spring with which I don’t know anything. gruss loeckchen

    Hello everybody, I spent some time yesterday again and cared for the interior of my V60. Since the seats are slowly coming to an age and the preoccupied woman didn’t know the word “care”, it’s time to do some minor repairs in one place or another. Now hang on to the right color. The interior code is KT60 (Mj 13, R-Design), but so you can’t find a “name” of the color to order it. Maybe was someone from euc h already at that point and can help me? Thank you very much!

  • RTI – Strange Behavior

    Hello, the RTI of my V70 has been acting a bit strange for quite some time. I noticed the following mistakes: 1. Sometimes it drives in and starts immediately again, which is of course a bit unpleasant, because it forgets all traffic messages. 2. At motorway junctions it sometimes sends me to the right and then immediately to the left again, although I have to go straight ahead. So I should leave the highway for a short time and immediately drive up again. That happened already at departures. No, there were for the area no traffic message, at least no one was displayed. 3. Sometimes, but very rarely, the RTI always sends me around the block when I look for an address. It guides me properly, but does not tell me that I have reached the destination and does not register it either. Instead, when I pass the destination, it sends me around the block once. This makes it in doubt until the tank is empty. 4. The control unit on the steering wheel is very heavy, the buttons funkti This problem occurs with my RTI, which I got in November 2005 with my then new V70. Did others notice such problems?
