Since in the foreseeable future young people will be waiting with us, I have a few days ago the baby bowl and the pram from our 2 year old son out to see if the things fit in the S80. Our son is now sitting in a “normal” child seat which also fits very well in the S80. The pram would also fit in the trunk, even if it is then full. The problem is the Roman baby bowl: The straps on the back bench are about 20cm too short!!! n seat is not normally strapped or only frayed with a lot. But then the shell “turns” back over through the too short belt. At Volvo I only saw a kind of buckle as a belt extension – but that won’t be enough of the length. Otherwise there are no alternatives from Volvo to my dealer either. We were already out and tried out baby shells from other manufacturers, but the straps at the back are simply too short. Do you know any advice what to do?? – I’m so baffled…

Trains in the driver’s area, my current status
I was already involved in some dialogues on this subject. I had also promised, if there is something new on the subject, to speak again. It is clear to me, of course, that at rising temperatures the topic is not so topical, but the next winter is certain. As agreed with Volvo, the vehicle was visited on site, and my friend again made every effort to make my request clear to Volvo as well. ch say that the representative of Volvo obviously also realized that we are not affected by spinners, but that there really is a serious problem. Since despite accurate analysis of the explosion drawing of the ventilation system there was no hib and firm explanation to be found then the glove compartment was dismantled, behind it lies the umluftklappe. I then drove with the car a few days under close observation of all air conditions, flap positions and switch positions and Unfortunately I am not a poet, otherwise the text would certainly be more readable, but the report I have prepared is now available in Volvo. It is clear that there will be no quick solution, but at least I know what it is now. If I get a solution proposal from Volvo I will of course report again on this topic. I wish you all a lot of fun with your little ones despite the draughts. With the best regards gs22091954 P S: Since no .doc are allowed as attachment I have added a .pdf, if someone has problems with reading the file, please report, then there is also an optically worse .txt verse

xc90 new ordered with 200 ps, but 185 ps delivered
In September 2010 I ordered a Volvo XC 90 D5 with 200 hp (also according to the contract). 5 days ago the car arrived in the car dealership, but it only has the 185 hp engine. My salesman offered me to increase the performance to about 210 hp by means of software tuning, in a way as a reparation. Does one have the experience with this kind of tuning? Does this bring something? Does this change some of the consumption values? Moreover, the old engine only has the Euro 4 standard, the new one however 5. What would you do? Accept the offer or insist on fulfilling the contract? Thank you very much for your help!!!

Steering limiters installed or not???
Hello everybody, maybe this is a little stupid question – how do I find out if my 850 steering limiter is installed? Can you see the parts without having to drive the car on stage? Thank you! MfG Jablonski

IIHS test of the light quality: Volvo S60 only “acceptable”
Interesting test:http://www.iihs.org/iihs/sr/statusreport/article/51/3/1 This was once a discipline in which Volvo always stood with good cards… Lieb Gruss Oli

Talitha rims at the XC60
Moin together Last year I had a complete set of wheels Talitha (Diamond cut/Black Stone) 9×20 with 255/45 R20 Pirelli’s for my XC60 with my dealer. Unfortunately I had to find out after about 2 months an imbalance on the steering wheel (light fluttering). Since I did not drive over curbs or in other terrain except possibly a milled road in urban traffic with a maximum of 40km/h, and I am the only driver it is inexplicable to me why these rims now have a Be 3 out of 4 rims have this side impact. Can’t describe this now in moderation and numbers because I couldn’t hold a clock to the balancer, but the one is quite clear and the other two a little less but just enough to make the steering wheel flutter. I asked my master contract workshop and my former master contract workshop how something like that can happen, both of them thought that this didn’t just happen, the one said just that the I was still with the Tüv and he meant whether it was the material or whether there was anything that was difficult to say. An expert opinion on this would be difficult to draw up. I am now mainly interested in the maximum wheel load of such a rim since I find it nowhere before I bother the dealer again. I now make the wheel load depending on whether I get these rims again or not. With other rim manufacturers it varies from 680kg -1024kg per rim what I’ve seen. I’m just surprised that happens with such a rim. I decided especially for an original because I thought buying what good what thinks, which was only manufactured and developed for the XC60. well… so if someone can tell me the wheel load of this rim I would be very grateful MFG

Problems with the starter
Volvo V60, D4, built in 2017, manual gearbox Hello, someone has an idea or experience: I just got this VOLVO, with the hint: “Appearer turns partly free; otherwise great car and good price, I decided to take it and tackle the problem. I. Starter After pressing the start button you hear a quiet click from the engine compartment. If you press the start button longer the noise comes several times. The onboard instrument says that the mot or is started. But nothing happens. – The car cannot be started by starting aid; – The car can be towed and then starts well despite minus temperatures and then drives perfectly. I don’t think it’s the battery, since the starter does nothing even after 60 km of highway. Has anyone ever had this problem, and what was the solution? II. Battery / start aid / towing – Can there be consequential damage by towing this model (D4, manual gearbox)? – We tried the starting aid first about plus and mass. Since the mass of any body parts was doubtful, then also directly at the minus pole of the battery. (Is wrong, I know now). Now I have the message described in the manual: Low energy level, energy saving mode … Has anyone ever had this and got away again? Are there possible consequential damages that you should have in mind? Thanks already for thinking about it …

Bye Volvo
Hello Volvisti, after 5 years 2 XC90 with a total of almost 300,000 km I leave the brand. Although I still like the XC90 and look for the same in terms of family friendliness and space, I want to be a little more sporty again. I like the new V70 very well, but also has the “Volvo” problem. After some test drives of other premium manufacturers, the Volvo automatic is in my personal ranking in the last place. The D5 can’t really compete with the current 3 litres of diesels in Pukto acceleration and, above all, pull-through. I’m not looking for a racing car (The X3 with the 280 hp 3 liter diesel it clearly too sporty), but Volvo is not really an ALternaive to the other premium manufacturers. It’s also interesting that the new V70 in the leasing rate is hardly a thing of the past. This is where I get more permium for the money at the Audi. I have never had a decision for a new car so hard. I finally wish the Volvo bought a modern automatic and equipped the diesel according to the standard. Let’s hope that the Audi quality can keep up with that of the Volvo, at least it is faster. Best regards bom Blufi, who is very excited about what is waiting for him in the new beautiful world of the Audi.

Settings Program Flasher/ Light
Hello! is there any possibility for the V70/S70/C70 to program such functions as continuous driving light, turn signal control of the radio remote control etc.? In the V40 this is possible in Vida if I remember to program quite well about the CEM. But the C70 does not seem to have a CEM at all, right? Am I just looking at the wrong place or is it not possible? I have seen a U.S. C70, since the turn signalers were activated as SMLs, besides he had a warning tone when the light was switched on, i.e. v I expect that the light setting of the stand light is not connected to the ignition either, as with my… so I assumed that maybe you could just program that? Thank you!

Find suggestions for my Volvo
Hello, I bought a Volvo 850 Bj 94 420tsd Km for 350€. I’m not sure if I should get it ready for me (screw it yourself) or sell the items. It would be nice if I could get some more decision-making impulses. Thank you! The positive things: clutch, timing belts made last year. Engine purrs like a 1, it has a working gas system. The challenges: cylinder head seal must be made, diue wheel hub front right, the lamp with the Lambda sign lights up, the track has to be adjusted and in the front leg there is such a rubber bellow loosely in it (I think something has to be done). Is that worth it with such a counter stand? What do you mean? Greetings Michael
