  • Turbo Damage XC60

Hello, since 2010 drive a Volvo XC 60 2.4 175 hp. On Wednesday on the expressway at speed 100 km/h suddenly white smoke, error message “Particle filters full”. After about 800 m at the next exit I stopped immediately. I called Volvo Workshop and the car was towed. The next day I was called by “Friendly” and I was told that turbochargers are defective. Whether the torn parts have damaged engine could not be tested until new Tur bolader is built in. Happiness in misfortune… engine ok but torn down turbine has damaged catalyst inside… so still new cat must come here. :-(. Has ever experienced such a thing from you ??? How kulant is Volvo.?? car has made 68000 km, all inspections at Volvo. 5 years Garanie gahabt and in 6 year…… Greeting Massimo444

  • Error 412 Airbag / SRS error signal missing

Moin, in our convertible the SRS-light went on spontaneously. Error 412 SIPS-Bag on the right signal is missing. Then I looked under the passenger seat for a short time if the plug is still sitting correctly. Error tries to delete and car restarts –> Error is set immediately again. The phrase “SIPS-Bag on the right” has already made me a bit stubborn, because otherwise driver / passenger side is written everywhere. In the VIDA I found this sentence in the search now: “Airbag module, passiger sid “And: “9206303 Airbag module, left, driver’s side 2000- C70 Conv (-05), 2000 SIPS bag C70 88 9206304 Airbag module, right, driver’s side 2000- C70 Conv (-05), 2000 SIPS bag C70” –> Does this mean that cabrios have a SIPS bag in each seat on the left and right? Greetings, Nok

  • P1671 Error code (’99 V70 2.4L 144PS)

Hello. Recently I bought a V70 2.4L from 1999. The engine warning light was on, and the buyer showed me a printed document from a workshop, in which they read out the error code as “P1671 injection valve voltage too low”. It could also be “voltage too high”, I did not have the document right here. However, if I look on the Internet, all the information I find refers to a control valve problem, not to an injection valve problem. Today I have the control valve changed (I bought it from eBay, not original from Volvo), but the engine warning light went on again. Now I wonder two things: – Could it be that I connected the two cables wrongly? In my original plug there were no numbers 1 and 2, only in the new plug I bought from Volvo. I think I connected the green/orange cable to the pin 1. – Could this error not be caused by the control valve, but by the camshaft I have found some forum threads on the Internet that suggest this as another possible cause. I would say I sometimes hear a click noise from the area in which this sensor is placed, but I don’t know if this could point to a problem with it. Apart from the fact that the engine warning light concerns, starts and runs the car very uniformly. It’s mainly a problem because I have to pass the TÜV and that can’t do so, solan the engine warning light is lit.

  • Buy XC70

Hello guys, I’m thinking about giving up my nearly 3.5 year old S60 MY04 Black Edition with now 58000 km and getting myself an XC70 with only 11700 km (should have been a Volvo employee car) MY05. Since I have always read great things in this forum, I would like to ask a few questions without rolling up the last 2 years of the forum regarding XC70 🙂 Is it different to buy such a car? It’s about an XC70 momentum with Xeonon as added. Leather seats and the SH I want to buy n It is a D5 with 185hp and switch – wanted automatic, it would be at the same price, but I prefer the 185hp, because the automatic version has only 163hp (as young used) what do I have to pay attention to? the price is according to Eurotax – so I find it ok. have almost half a year leftover warranty. Does the dealer in Austria still have to give me his used car warranty for 1 year? Is there any serial fee? ler, which are already known, which should be made (in guarantee)? like e.g. the roaring exhaust at the S60, or the rubber buffer at the shock absorber…. Do you have some really valuable tips for me? I thank you already in advance for all the inscriptions.. .. a perhaps soon proud Volvo XC70 driver. lg, PinocchioS60 PS: If someone should be interested in this… give my S60 Black Edition with 58000km 01/04 for € 20500… (incl. a lot more extras ab verwerk verb verb) (aut)

  • Trader certification

Hello together, I’m new and hope someone can help me: we bought a used car (BMW 320D) in February of this year in the amount of 17,000,-EUR from a dealer. Unfortunately, a defective one turned out on Saturday: the car does not start any more. We then called the BMW service, which had then read out the error memory. Several errors would be possible. The car would have to be in to BMW wg. the cause. We called our dealer to this point The dealer said he would not pay the costs for the repair. Unfortunately, our dealer also did not rewrite our used car warranty/insurance to the new vehicle, although he already has it in his office for 2 months. Because we had a different vehicle before, which we also got over him. It turned out that the car had a total damage. That’s why we gave him the car back and another BMW B j. 2004 bought for 17,000,-EUR. Now we ask who will pay for the repair costs. We as a buyer or the dealer. Because as far as I know there is a dealer warranty for one year and for the first 6 months the dealer warranty has to take for it or not? is it useful to use a lawyer? That does take over a legal protection insurance or? I hope it can help me.

  • Advice on the purchase of a used XC90 (up to 20,000 €)

Hello Volvo community, I’ve always been driving VW/Audi and I might be thinking about buying an XC90 D5 instead of a used Touareg R5. However, since I’m totally inexperienced with Volvo, it would be nice if you would give me a few tips on what I have to pay attention to. Due to the price frame of about 20000 Euros (i.e. nix with MJ2006 and 185PS) the following vehicle will become (as clues) an XC90 D5 with 163hp and a mileage between 80000-140000 km MJ 2004/2005 with leather, Navi, Xenon What do you have to pay attention to, what problems the XC90 has at this age/running performance Thank you for your support … goose

  • V70 ZV does not close tailgate

Moin municipality, again owner of a Volvo and have a small problem. The tailgate is not locked by the ZV, it does not blink when closing. Now I wanted to make the fuse for the first time, but I can’t find it. Under the glove compartment it should be the 25 (tank cover/backgate). But I don’t have this slot. The row stops at 24. • Oil loss

Hello, I’ve been driving since repurchasing the car 2.4 D, now at 260,000 km. It consumes 2-3 years rising more motor oil, about 1.5 lit / 10,000km. Has anyone experience whether it is normal ? Thanks from Vienna !

  • Volvo V60 B4/D4 Purchase advice with focus on mileage

I would like to buy a Volvo V60 Diesel and need some experience reports from you, as the search function has not brought me any further. A V60 with diesel engine from BJ 2018 is planned, my budget is 20-23,000 euros. After some research I have chosen the “big” diesel engines for me, i.e. the 190 or 197 hp machine with an automatic transmission. Now the market of course gives many variants: few KM + little equipment + BJ 2018 = approx. . 20k€ 100-120k KM + little equipment + BJ 2018 = ca. 15-17k € 150-200k KM + full equipment + BJ 2020 and newer = ca. 22k € My question would now be like your experiences with “high” running performance. Currently I tend to be a leasing back runner with a high long distance share, but with a better equipment (for me interesting panoramic roof, headup display, Harma Kadon sound system). Thank you and greetings from the heart of the Ruhr area.

  • Oil level measuring rod XC60 3.0 T6 MY2014

Hello together, in the user manual and also in the net I find only very different representations of the measuring range on the oil measuring rod. I photographed the thing, but can not do anything with the whole XX, which are engraved on it. How to understand this? I measured 15 minutes after a ride. Thank you and greeting
