Hello With my wife’s car, the yellow engine light went on with her XC60 D3. Because the way to the next workshop is not so easy, I connected a tester, got the message “P04D9 Drivetrain”. This leads to problems with the AGR. Whether the new cooler was installed here already, and whether the software at the last stand is devoid of my knowledge. The car is 03/2016 and had 35tkm after a year on it. At present it is 52tkm. So he is almost 3 years old. I deleted the error and drove a lap. At the same time the error did not occur any more. Is this normal? Blöd now, of course, if I will present it now without obvious problems at the workshop …. Another idea: Just before the error occurred my wife had taken a few meters with her when reversing a tilted mist bucket (mulley for all not Austrians). Maybe something was damaged there? Can’t imagine it, but who knows? Am grateful for tips!

Exhaust gas test 2018
Moin Leutz, Since January it is also mandatory for the years of construction 2006 and younger again to have the AU carried out by tailpipe measurement. IMHO with diesel always a psychological burden for the moose shepherd :-/ Has anyone already had experience with the old measuring method at the younger moose? VG Malte

DSTC Sensitivity/Response
Hello, I would like to know how quickly or when the DSTC system intervenes with you for the sake of interest?! In the case of spinning wheels when starting or speeding up, the TRACTION KONTROLLE intervenes and the yellow lamp light in the dashboard. So far so good… When I was stuck in the snow and both(!) wheels went crazy, nothing happened. The traction control distributes the force only on the wheel with more “grip”, but then the MOTORELEKTRONIK doesn’t have to adjust the engine speed? When does this happen??? To test the functioning of the ESP, I “forced” a hit (in a parking lot). The yellow lamp lit up NIE and I didn’t have the feeling that a system intervened. How is that with you? Is the operation of the ESP checked in the workshop about the diagnostics?

Dirt trap on V 70 III
Hello, how do dirt catchers look on the V70 III, does it look like an “Opa car”? These things are shown in ACCESSORIES with a small picture, but not the whole vehicle. Color of my V70 is black metallic, the rags are also black. With the current salinity of the roads, my elk looks like a salt spreader even after a short drive. Are there possibly pictures of the whole car? Friendlyst Günter

Large-scale inspection
Hello, next week I’m allowed with my XC60 D5 to 210′ customer service. I only got 120′, but it would be due now. I was told that this would be a big inspection with fuel filter etc…. Can someone tell me what to get? Unfortunately I found nothing in the search…. Thank you, greetings

Lock indicator XC 70 (blinking diode)
In our V40 we have “A flashing diode on the windshield confirms that the vehicle is locked. – > Locking indicator according to the manual. And somehow I don’t get rid of the feeling that my XC 70 MY11 did it once. But as I said, it’s a subjective impression. And in none of the operating instructions does anything appear… What does this look like for you? Thanks for the feedback.

“Long-term experience” with Goodyear F1-asymm. on R,T5,…?
Has anyone had experience over at least 15t km with the new Goodyear F1 asymm. in 235/40-18″ Y, preferably on S60/V70-R or T5? Was it quite enthusiastic about the already during the test, and soon my R should be rehearsed again…? Am the F1 last also driven on’m M3 of a buddy (comparison to Pirelli Pzero Rosso asymm., which I currently also ride on’m R…) and that’s also a hit! The M3 is almost only moving with squeezing rubber, therefore the durability of the tire can not be estimated so well! After 12t km, however, the tire is never much left, however, even with thunderstorms at Tempo 200+ was still confident…., similar to the Pzero, however, it offers a little more comfort, as it seems to me, and is the newer development. In tyre tests, it cuts off considerably better than the Pzero, and runs a little less after the track grooves… I’m already looking forward to your experiences?

Install the drive shaft right again
Hello! Volvo V70 I Bj 99 Automatic I have problems there. Followed by it. I let myself change the Simmering in the automatic transmission from a free workshop. It oiled. First everything went dazzling but after about 4 weeks suddenly nothing went while driving. I had oil loss and the car could be pushed despite P position. Later when towing and lifting I saw that the drive shaft had jumped out to the right. The mounting bracket was completely gone with screws. So no wonder. Now I am on it myself and hang only on the crossbar the front screw firmly is solved. Now my question? Do I have to solve the other two connections of the crossbar on the body also yet or can I now with a hammer and a wood which the pressed mother knocks out.? Track rod is also off. Unfortunately, the drive shaft by pushing on my property has been almost turned on again. But I have to move back neither before yet. I hope it is not bent? I am short of giving up the Elch. (I don’t know that the Ding has to be able to replace the Ding Wave.

Oil loss C70II
Evening on the other hand, I have been fighting for about 10,000km with heavy oil loss, means at least 1l on 1000km. I have been in the second workshop today and they also thought that the engine block has to be opened. Also the turbo should be replaced with this masterpiece, although it is dry, because they don’t hold much longer than 200,000km anyway, so do everything immediately the first time. The costs will probably amount to 250€ what do you think of it? In the exhausts traces of oil have been proven it drips nowhere anything out of the engine. Greetings Feda78
