  • Klappern and Scheppern with loud music

    Since I had enjoyed the premium sound system, I also want to write something about it briefly, is the 3rd contribution and then it is enough for today. It bothers me, that with bass and loud music everything is scraping. Above all door panels and B-pillar knärzt. Does someone have an idea, except to turn the music down? I don’t have the problem with radio music, no DAB. But only with the iphone, I hardly hear CD, so I don’t know, are only songs of Itunes loaded, therefore no self-created M P3 ́s. I would still understand the lack. But it’s so shaky in the side paneling that it sometimes gets annoying. Also I have to say the XC60 is rather a small flap-relch. But is also a lot of technical stuff on board. But when I drive the mini convertible of my wife, then I honestly fear that the car falls apart and that is also only 1st year old and has not even 10000 km… Only otherwise it was always so quiet in the Volvo… it is here and there. safety belt, sometimes the cover of the engine at certain speeds… small things about what other brands offer so. whining at a high level. And the design is simply hot…there is no nicer SUV on the market at the moment. That’s what you have to leave to the guys from Volvo who are currently building really nice cars… considering how boring a golf comes along and that for more than 30 years.

  • XC60 Front tyres unevenly worn …

    Dear forum, with my XC60, the front tyres are approaching the end of their legal condition. Here in AT are the 1.6 mm minimum profile depth. When parking – when the front wheels are hit – I now notice that the inside side is significantly stronger than the outside side. Delta approx.1 – 1.5 mm. Is on both sides (i.e. left and right front wheel) about the same. Now my question? Is that also so with you? Anyone noticed and talked about it?   • V/XC 70 MJ 2014 ff.?! What’s next?

    There are still two years before the change of my leasing vehicle. But even today I am thinking about the “Day X”… In 2014 the V70 III would have been almost unchanged for seven years. I can’t imagine choosing the third V70 in a row in almost identical form. Does anyone know about plans of a new variant in the next two years? 2014 is also called “magical date” for the XC90 again and again. This would then be a real alternative for me. So who is speculating with or knows a little more about the “flagship-future” of Volvo?! Or are these the 60s-Ranges now????

  • What is better: MM or mechanical throttle flap?

    Hello together, so slowly I look around again for a V70 I. I had one with the electronic MM-Rosselklappe and wonder if I should also take the mechanical throttle models into the search. The problem with the MM-Dk is known to me, but I would rely on the overhaul for 200 € at this specialist company. I would not take a car with DK problems (empty running problems) or burning engine warning light anyway, so only a clean working e MM-DK. Why do I even ask: I absolutely want a car with cruise control again. Now the mechanical DK is also mechanical, and then I wonder if the mechnaic cruise control is as good as the electronic one. Unfortunately, I have no comparison. What do the people with mechanical cruise control say, is it usable or rather sluggish? Is the maintenance prone (low pressure anything)?

  • Drink holder in DIN box

    Hello together My 850er kombi needs new tires. Since I’m going to Azerbaijan next January (with a breaker to Syria), further around the Caspian Sea and then back up, I also need tires with which one can “get through” well.
