  • New product V 70 III RDesign – back to Volvo

    Hello together, as a Volvo returner I would like to say hello to you briefly. As can be seen from my signature, I have been with Volvo and have been back for two weeks now. The last few years I have driven Audi A4 Avant as an ambition, a great sporty car, if you are only two and do not need a trunk? Now the family growth demands its tribute in the form of countless bumps and more space in the trunk. So I only stayed to look around for some size Rem. And since I always liked the V70, it came next to the passat (not complaining…) into the short choice. The A6 as Avant left for me as a private buyer. After a long search I found my sweetheart. It has become a V70 D3 with Geartronic in RDesign, black and all nice amenities. As MY 2012 with 7400 km mileage as good as nibble-new. What should I say, a great car! To the slightly different way of moving forward with the Geartronic and the performance/Wi I still have to get used to the real-life composition. The Audi was naturally more sporty. But as a dad you can also let it go more quietly? Would you like a good ride!

  • my Navi doesn’t speak German

    Hello! I’m new to the forum and this is my first post. After I found a lot of interesting things, I couldn’t solve my problem yet. I lived in the USA for 5 years and bought an XC90 there in 2005. This one went back with me to Europe after my stay abroad in Michigan had ended. The car has a full equipment and also the Navi with RTI DVD. I still had the US version in my DVD shaft and now I have an actual the Volvo “Road and Traffic EUROPE”. Navteq Mpas, VCC Part No. 31326246, 1122 Disk C, Part. No. T1000-18139. The DVD could be read by my Navi. A yellow bar appeared the first time and lasted about 3 min. – then the Navi recognized my position and I can search, enter and navigate targets. Unfortunately, I don’t get any language commands. I can probably set the sounds of the Navi in the menue (you can also listen to the voice in English with LAUTER, LEISER etc.), abe I asked the Volvo Haendler, he wants to sell me a new DVD player…. That’s certainly only a firmware thing. After I can only choose English (US) and Spanish, I think that the US firmware is still on it. I don’t need a German voice output – I’m also satisfied with English. But if the Navi doesn’t talk to me at all, it gets boring. Who can help me? I certainly don’t want a new Navi or DVD Gera et kaufen. Thank you very much for the support.

  • Ominous noise at V70 when driving through holes

    Hello dear friends! Last year I asked you which moose you could take, etc. well, at the end of December it became the V70 D5 (BJ 2004) as well. Actually he was a brave little animal so far and did not make a theater. At the moment the tank flap unfortunately does not hold, is somehow completely loose and does not close *shoulder zuck*. But soooo bad I don’t find that, if I close the flap with patch at some point, then it really looks shy ** from … but until then I don’t bother. More uneasiness is caused by the sound of the LANGSAMEN running through e.g. floor waves, or on such a kind of dirt road. There it hits sometimes front, sometimes back, sometimes louder times quieter … everything funny. I can’t describe it more precisely, I have no idea. At the weekend there was also a noise during the VERY FLOTTEN driving through curves – like a grinding. So slowly I get scared. Does anyone know that? Tomorrow he goes to the factory sta tt, but I’d be a little bit more comfortable (or not) if I could locate the thing a little better and better estimate the possible danger. He’s got 91,000 on the clock now and was a brave guy so far. We want to do a longer AB ride on the weekend and there it goes to the thing and you don’t want to do that with a car where you’re afraid it’s going to fly apart (which I just rule out at Volvo).

    Power drop at 2.4T Last autumn I noticed for the first time that our 2.4T performance was not constant. The thrust “sucked” off again and again, especially with more pressure on the accelerator pedal/acceleration processes. In short it was good then it started again. So I bought a new blowout. f for EUR 480. Now it’s worse than ever before. What to do?

    Hoi, in my 850R a SC 801 slumbers. Unfortunately, the good piece on the buttons is already bitten. The changer in the back of the trunk is also not the yellow one from the egg.     Hello forum, I discovered a few drops of oil on our parking space a few days ago. Starting in the workshop, engine cleaned, warm driven, underlooked. Then it was said: Probably the bonding of the oil pan is defective. Could also be the Simmerring, but probably the oil pan. Oil pan for € 250,- re-glue, drive home, the next day new oil drops under the car. Back in the workshop, now it was called “yes then it is the KW Simmerring”. The mechanic smelled at the stage. “Hopefully it’s not a transmission oil, it’s just engine oil, otherwise it’s expensive. But transmission oil smells different.” Now I have an appointment on Friday where the Simmerring is exchanged. For € 550,-. A scum who thinks bad things about it, but I’m afraid now, of course, that I have new oil drops under the car again on Saturday, and that it then says “then it was gear oil”. My question: Can it be that in the workshop before a repair not exactly fixed This can be damn expensive in the long run… For me, of course – the workshop is happy! What would you do?   • Searching for causes… for “wummering” during braking in sliding mode

    moin together, I can’t sleep again, so I am already sitting on the laptop and asking stupid questions. At the weekend we were on the way in the mountainous country. There we go up and down neatly. When braking on longer gradients of the A1 the car always started to “wow” after a few seconds. I could not notice a swing of the bodywork, also no hit in the steering…. only a trembling. on straight distances here in Münsterland I could at least noc h don’t notice. I suspect as a possible cause unwholesome brakes or a defective damper…but maybe I’m wrong. do you have an idea what the cause might be? I’m going to have to visit with Gustav, right?
