  • Rearview mirror goes – can’t – can’t – goes …

    Hello moose driver, I am confused … (NO, this is NOT my normal condition !!) But in turn: Yesterday morning I ride on my moose to work – everything OK, no abnormalities. Yesterday evening, I want to go home, I think at the start: “Comish, something is different …?!” A short look around, and look there: the rear view mirror looks strange! Description: – the basic color of the glass has changed from normal to smoked-yellow – in the mirror glass I see an elongated luf bubble (about 6 cm x 2 cm) the image in the mirror is blurry, I see double images. The whole has somehow similarity with a water scale … OK, first Alnaufpunk motor-talk.de, I find the manual from KaiCNG, it sounds as if it was too heavy for me. To think gives me a enthusiastic comment, which says something of “… 500 EUR saved!” … This morning, the water scale is still to be seen, I use the ride for a call to the FVH, which says something of “I don’t know at all”, s I decide to look again for a bit in the bay and try the landing of Kai … and, what should I say? I get back into the car today after work, and everything is as before!! No air bubble, no smoke yellow anymore, clear picture … WHAT TO DO IS THE LOS?!!? Andreas

  • V70 II automatic internal mirror defective, replacement by manual

    I own a V70 II, year 2001, in which the automatically blinding internal mirror is defective. The automatic does not work anymore, the liquid has run out. In the mirror housing there is still a microphone for the built-in phone. Now I have got another mirror. However, a manual, also with microphone. I have already activated the search, but found no answer to the following questions: Can I use the manual mirror instead of the automatic one uen, if I remodel the board on the back of the mirror glass accordingly? Does anyone have experience with switching from automatically to manually? Are there possibly software problems? Thanks for answers!

  • LMM Bosch – where to buy ?

    After cleaning the heating wire through the workshop, my Volvo ran calmly and smoothly again. 14 days later and 2500 km on the speedometer more unfortunately the motor jerking again. Now I wonder if the LMM is so quickly rotted or if it is over after all. Apparently the cleaning has helped. Then it can not actually be defective or? It would hurt to replace the LMM only on suspicion. According to the workshop also the LMM was behind with error messages in the memory t. If renew – where is the best place to buy the Bosch LMM?

    Good morning dear Volvo connoisseurs, this is my first entry, but I hope soon one of many following ones. I had a Volvo a few years ago (but the small v50). The last three years I made a trip to Audi (A4). But I just fit better with Volvo and leasing is not exactly my model (thick after payment due to scratches and Kimkerlizchen). So: I want a used V70 🙂 I always wanted to have it! I don’t like it so much Root wood in the car. Last time I saw a V70 EDITION SPORT at mobile.de. I liked that very well (thick equipment and beautiful aluminum strips). But now the question: which year of construction (series) is recommended? How old can the car be, what max. ran? Max price should be about 15 thousand (rather less, around 10 thousand. Or so would be better of course 🙂 Greeting, Tobias.

  • Install HU 803 in V70

    Hello… have a V70 year 2000 (already new model). …inbuilt is a HU403… now I have bought a HU803 to install it myself afterwards. Now my questions: -on the new HU803 is only a big plug in at the back… I thought there are always two… who can say something about this? -and pure to the conversion: how can I get the old radio cleaned up and the new one pure? have found no self-help book… many thanks for your help…

  • No gas acceptance

    Hello together, does anyone know the problem? Today on the highway happens, I am speeding up 100, 120, 140, 160, 180 then someone slows down in front of me on the track, I walk off the gas and approach slowly, speed is so about 170, which before me has finished its overtaking process and frees the track again and I push again on the pedal but nothing pushes forwards on the contrary, I get even slower. Now I have pressed the accelerator completely through, automatic switches a Go back, speed goes up and it accelerates very slowly. I then let go of the pedal and waited until the speedometer showed again about 160 and then accelerated again, now look it pulls again from then, really fast up to 200. Since the highway was very empty I let again speed lose up to 170 and see there again nothing. Now I let it slow down a little more up to 120 and again accelerated up to 200, without any problems. I tested it about 5 times. nd at the 5 times I was able to accelerate again at 170 normal.     Hello friends the following problem has appeared for about 1-2 weeks with my moose: (S60, Bj12/2002, 2,4L 170hp, 110 ́000KM): Suddenly during the journey the whole instrument cluster runs out completely for approx. 1.sec, all hands go to zero, then everything goes up again. This happens about 10 times, within 5 min, then was again 4 days rest, no problems, then again 10 times happens, then again 3 days rest and so on. So far I have made the following observations: 1. or is (thanks to God) not affected, so car continues to run as if nix is 2. AbyssingLight (at least I could regulate it) also no change 3.Blinker noise (klackKlack) suspends for a short time! 4.Calculation of the on-board computer over residual tank-rich-wide is null and is recalculated, average consumption remains stored 5.ritt both during the journey and in standstill. 6.Tritt both in warm as well as wet cold weather on Mine you the combo is h in, so topic cold soldering point etc?
