  • S60 R Price question

Hello, my current S60 2.4 has accompanied me very reliably the last 1.5 years and 30tkm and I am basically very satisfied with it, but what bothers me a little bit (in addition to the dreary color combination) is the nevertheless a little weak engine. Not that one would be undermotorized with the 170hp, but sometimes a little more bangs would not be wrong already. I would have bought a 2.5T already at that time, but unfortunately at the time no specimen was available, which my specifications on Pr Now I came across a R more or less out of boredom while browsing, and I found that this is a rather nice little wackling, which is technically nevertheless quite different from the normal S60. The specimen, which I am looking at, is 6 years old (but Facelift), has run almost 70tkm and has a neat equipment (Navi, natural leather) and is supposed to cost almost 21t€. That seems to me a little expensive in view of the age, alldi ngs are too few copies on the market to really make a comparison, also Dat and Co. often provide only insufficient clues (I came with the standard rating to about 13500€, which seems to me in return much too low). A 2008 T5 with about 50tkm would have e.g. for about 18t€. What price do you think is appropriate? Greetings, thunderbolt

  • How to check the level of the servo oil at Volvo V50 1.6 D 2010?

Hi, I’ve been driving a V50 for a year and a few weeks ago I heard so tedious surren while driving. Maybe it’s normal, but I’d like to check the filling level of the servo oil, because maybe there’s not much in it anymore. After a long search I finally found the storage tank under the right headlight. Seems to be somehow part of the servo pump. But oh fright, when I unscrewed the lid, there was no trace rod integrated in the lid. I want to suck out the old oil and fill it up with new oil at some point. But how high? Everything is somehow not thought out by the car. Others have a nicely accessible reservoir with a knife. Does any of you have an idea? Greetings

  • Squeaking on the rear axle

Servus, I’ve had really bad sounds on the rear axle since today, this morning on the way to Stuttgart there was nothing (about 80km from home) then when again 20 km drive, there was still nothing to hear, but after that we drove into the parking garage, it started to squeaky or what it is, you hear every floor shaft or curb. What do you think, silikonspray brings something? Volvo v50 bj 2004 km 229tkm

  • XC90 four wheel

Hello I would have a question about the XC90. I have been offered a used one. EZ 06/06 but already model year 07. During the test drive I noticed that the front wheels have gone crazy. After I addressed the dealer on it he also said that there is something wrong. He is still clear. Now I am somewhat unsure. I thought that from the model year 2006 already the angular gearbox with the hardened gears is installed. Has someone experience with the angle g I don’t want to buy a car with which the four-wheeler fails every few months. Is there anything else to consider with the new model? At the moment I still fluctuate between the XC90 and a Toyota Landcruiser. Gruss Jens

  • V70 R instead of S40 T5 ???

Hello, who sometimes takes a look at the S40II Forum, knows well that I am not really satisfied with my S40 T5 (MY07), so I have been looking for an alternative for a long time. In the conversation are BMW (because of rear drive, roughly up to M3) and Audi (RS4, but would have to wait a while longer), but the two brands are not really symphatic to me. Would like to stay with Volvo, but after many test drives only the V70R remains, which is surprisingly sportli The S40 T5 (although the difference is AWD/FWD) and is not as much bigger as you would expect. And optically it is a dream anyway. I first tested a machine and only a country road, since the “R”, which must be black in my opinion, is not to be found at every corner… Have now one with JG 2003 in mind, and what interests me above all are the following points: Does the HU 803 with Premium Sound reach the PS of the S40 (or even better) ? e the normal sound system ?) Can PDC be retrofitted ? Are the maintenance costs significantly higher (without verse / control) ? Are there with the model 2003 “children’s diseases” ? What about the quality of the clutch, which is clearly overwhelmed with the S40 T5? How pleasant is the speed-dependent servo? (was not on the AB) What else should I consider ??? Thank you in advance, $id

  • Purchase advice Volvo S60 2,4 Bj03

Good evening, dear motor talkers. I found a Volvo S60 at Mobile and I also looked at it today. It’s: http://suchen.mobile.de/…/showDetails.html?… I have to say the car looks like licked from the outside and from the inside and up to a few small stone strokes at the front of the thruster I couldn’t find anything. Well, except that the windscreen wiper doesn’t work… But I think the fuse is broken because the wiper garkein life drawing The car was a leasing vehicle and looks very good for the age. At extra cost the dealer TüV AU gives me new and 12 months used car warranty as well as a working wiper. What do you think of the car? And what do you have to pay special attention to with Volvo? (weaknesses or known defects) Thank you and MfG Martin

  • Windshield C30 leaks passenger side

Moin, and the next problem with the new purchase: Today, the salt with the high pressure cleaner in the wash park is fixed (not kept close to seals, of course). Then got in and saw that there were some lanes of water running inside on the passenger side at the windscreen. Super. Vehicle has no sunroof or similar and is just 8 years old. My 31-year-old second vehicle still has its very first windshield in it (date code 10.83) and is With a convertible, I would still understand that you buy it in the rain or drive it through the wash road, but with a compact vehicle all over the world!? Is this a known problem? If so, is there any remedy? From the inside somehow Sikaflex/silicon/seat mass on the top of the disc frame? If you get under the sky somehow. Photo attached – the tracks are ALL from the inside.

  • Steady heating (STH): How warm does the STH…

… the cooling water? STH is responsible for a pleasant “warm start” in the interior. Now I always thought that the engine will no longer get a cold start. Does anyone know how warm or cold the engine is after e.g. 30min SHZ at T_aussen=0°C? Thank you! Andreas

  • Leather finishing of steering wheel

Hello, get my first new used moose next week. I want to work up the leather from the steering wheel and gear knob. This looks really bad. As if the previous owner wore 5 rings on each hand. Now I have found a great guide. here I would like to get a matching color at the leather center. Does anyone know the color of the gray?! Is this the grey or something else? What did you use? Tips, recommendations? Greeting Flatattack

  • XC90: 11-speed automatic?

Hello, I roll down a mountain in the 4th gear. I want to slow down my moose a little bit and switch back a gear. The indicator jumps to “3” and the speed goes up (e.g. to 2300). After a few seconds, however, another switch seems to take place: the indicator remains (of course) to “3”, but the speed goes up again (e.g. to 2600). This also occurs with other gears. So with these “intermediate gears” my GT has 11 gears But seriously: What does the GT d a? Why this switch-over? (With the lock-up the m.E. has nothing to do with it, or does it start so quickly?) Relevant information receives as always gratefully: xc90er …who wants to expand his modest moose knowledge again.
