Does original FK2 fit 18 inch rims on an FK1???
Hello guys, I’m not new here in the forum, but actually drive BMW, but we (parents and I) could not convince my younger brother of the advantages of a BMW ́s. :-)) But fun with side, doesn’t want to piss you off, also buddies drive the Honda. Have the following question and hope you can help me: So he bought himself a Honda Civic FK1 1.4 Sport. Standard are indeed 17 inch Alu ́s. He wants now however now 18 inch rims of the 1.8 sport (see at honda.de under Zu have talked to the dealer about release for the 1.4, which says there is net since the 1.8 other damper would have in it and therefore the 18 inch rims under 1.4 would be sanded when infusing. But that can actually be garnet, because there is also the 17 inch in 7.5 inches wide. In addition, the cross-section on the 18 inch is smaller (from 225/45-17 to 225/40-18 ) so that the roll circumference is correct and the speedometer net has to be adjusted. ??? The carousel is not different from the 1.8. He only has a different engine, or do I have a mistake of thinking somewhere?? Thanks for your help!!! Greeting Christian

Honda-Alufelge crumbled
When we talked about the Honda-Alu rims before, I just had a stupid mess. At the exit from the garage, I striped a curb with the left rear tire. Unfortunately, the result is not pleasing. The tire itself got nothing, but the aluminium rim has clearly visible grinding marks. I got over it with my finger and then the upper layer of the aluminium rim came to me already. It really crumbles off, had afterwards the Brös So it’s totally ugly and that’s why a new alloy rim has to be here. Fortunately I have an appointment with the dealer today anyway and I’ll ask if you can order the standard 17-inch rims from Honda extra. Take a look at the cost of around 200 euros for the alloy rim, because that’s unfortunately not cheap at Honda. Shit happens. So always be careful with curbs. Such a rim is broken faster than you think. I won’t happen to me in five years, but now it’s the new Civic.

Hello After years of absence I will also report again! 🙂 Have also signed a purchase contract today for a 1.8 executive in black with beige interior equipment that I already get on Friday LOL 🙂 I would be interested in what you paid (how could you trade down???) With me it was 24000 euro to pay from about 26600 euro. What about the insurance? Where since you reported?? Have read that there seems to be the problem with the displayed consumers hs consider the BC to be a reality! Have you ever thought that it can be due to the iron reserve.(More than 50 liter tank?is actually normal nowadays???) I tried the car 2 times: once virgin and once with 1500km on the tacho there were real worlds differences in the acceleration-worthy later made really fun! 🙂 Add to this my question: How do I drive the engine “right”? on the other hand I was really happy when I saw it here already a n couple of Fk drivers there!! Water injection for turbomotors
Hey experts, what do you think about it? Nepp or useful?http://www.turbotuning.net/Functional mode.html Roughly calculated times: A 2L turbomotor pushes fresh air into the cylinders at full gas min. 6 cubic metres. (6,000 rpm * 0.5 * 2L = 6,000L = 6 m3) Could actually bring a measurable increase in performance with the amount of air 170ml Fluessigkeit? I think the stated 40% performance increase is completely utopian. *gg* air is sucked through water by a vacuum and is thus removed. Could one build something similar for car engines? Does not bring any power, but in combination with a fog machine would be the eye-catcher for car meetings! MfG Jools
