Engine control light goes on, short-term power loss and jerking Volvo 850
Hello, I drive a Volvo 850 (BJ 1996) in which years ago a gas system was installed. For some time now he is having problems after starting. The MKL (Bello) starts, already after a few hundred meters he loses power briefly. If the engine is switched off and again the power loss is gone, Bello remains however. After two to three days it then starts to jerk on during the ride or swallows itself constantly. Since I had the gas system suspected, I checked it and the injectors re-set up, vacuum hose check, as well as the spark plugs have changed. At first everything was good. Also the engine purred again like kittens and did not listen any more like an old moped. After about 14 days the MKL went on again and everything started from the front. Then I had the lamda probe replaced, a new ignition coil should be installed again and the throttle flap checked again. Everything again I good. After about 10 days again the same. In the moment I started the battery again and then it starts to have a few times before the MKL before the start and then it has a start again.

Sporadic starting problems C70 Cabrio 2.4t jg. 2001
Hello together I have recently had the problem that my C70 only starts sporadically. T.T. starter of the engine and goes after 1-2 sec. again. After that I wait a moment and try it again and see there, it starts quite normal. It was also already that only the starter turned and the engine did not start at all. After that I pressed on the remote control open/close and after a few try it has started again. until now it has started: – antenna ring at the ignition lock (problem not fixed) – spare key same problem – new starter battery Otherwise the car runs perfectly What else could I do? GJR in 195 65 R15 – allowed or not?
Recently with the test kit with the question: May I drive full-year tyres of the dimension 195/65 R15 on my V70 MJ 99 106 kW 15 inch Antlia/Antila Felge? Hello friends of good taste, it’s time to say goodbye. My leasing time with the V60 D5 R design is around. Originally I wanted to take it over. But the residual value is too high for me. So it has become something else. The pricing policy of the new models has come to my mind at Volvo, though I also like the V90 excellently. However, I reach my financial limits and am not willing to overtake the offered leasing rates. Positively, the V60, on now 156,000 KM, although with some Macks has done its job. The 5 – Ender is still a force, the R-design chassis also offers a good rest comfort on long distances, the seats are good and the space is sufficient. My average consumption is hand-shaked at 6.8 L/100 KM. Also on highway stages with around 180 Km/h were good 1,000 KM with a tank filling again. From the cost side the vehicle was bearable (in about with the A4, 150 TDI of my father per year). While the stop time of the K2,000 have occurred again at the same time.

Temperature indicator fails while driving
Hello, I have just looked through some forum entries, but I can’t find a solution for my problem. Therefore this new entry. My problem: When I start the car it will get quite normal warm during the ride. The temperature indicator is as always horizontal. After about 10-30 minutes the temperature indicator falls to zero at once and does not go up. Before about 1000 km the thermostate housing, thermostate and the temperature sensor at the thermostate was renewed and up to now also had no problems. (supplements were from Skandix) If I lengthen the cooling hoses, these are as always. Via the cooling temperature sensor the fan (behind the cooler) is regulated, right? Engine bearing at the bottom right
Hey 🙂 Got something again. Did the wheelhouse shell take out yesterday and next to the belt disc which is no longer the best one, I still liked the engine bearing (see picture). Can it be that this knock/polter noise can cause? Maybe you can also recognize something there. Is that because I have a knock/polter especially in the left bends in unevenness. According to the workshop, cross steering, drive shaft, stabi, shock absorber and dome bearing is in order. What do you mean?

Water in the moose
Unfortunately I have water in the elk….?? at first only in the footroom on the driver’s side….The heat exchanger was probably not, which is dry and cold water loss is not really detectable… Was then actually everything again dry, until I was in the wash road….really everything wet… Now the water is already under the driver’s seat….Footroom back left… A, B column and roof sky are also dry…. The large processes in the water box are also free…. Recently we had taken off the cover to replace the windscreen wiper engine… I felt the problem since then…. Can I do something wrong? At the cover on the driver’s side the “lip” went a bit off…the water that comes in then just had to run off… The water is by the way clear and tasteless…. Air conditioning hissed, but not cooled
Hello, last year I had my air conditioner filled. After a solved contact problem, it runs now as well. At least the compressor plugs in. However, it does not cool. In the interior a hissing is heard during operation. Otherwise nothing happens. According to the workshop the system is dense and the coolant quantity should also be correct. Can the evaporator be added so that there is no more air or there are other reasons? It is a manual system. Should one have been for retrofitting. The pressure switch is at the front of the cooler with this model. Also looks a bit puffed in overall.

Front fog lamp without function
Good evening! I have a new one since Saturday! It is a V70 of the first generation with just under 280TKM, 1st hand so half as wild, always very well maintained etc… The only problem is: The fog lights don’t shine. So you press the button, which then also lights green, only the fog lights don’t shine. Before I try wildly now etc. I have searched for a natural way in the forum, and actually only found something about the relay occupancy with regard to the fog lights.
