Hello! Has anyone ever tried to carry out a trailer load increase for a C30 2.0D from 1,500 kg to 1,600 kg? I’m thinking about getting a C30 and would like to continue using the car trailer combination to make use of the 100 km/h regulation with the existing trailers. I think that with the C30 I will need the trailer just for the holidays in Denmark. Before the proposal comes: No, the load on the trailer is not an alternative.

Racechip who has tuned his Volvo with it
Hello all, I have a Volvo V50 T5 AWD Bj 2006. Recently I became aware of the company Racechip by a flyer. http://www.racechip.de/…/index.php?tplvar=a Well, I would be very excited to get some more horsepower out of the engine with so little effort. Does anyone have experience with Racechip here? Or do you have better suggestions/bzg tuning? Or is it a good idea to do a car with 100000Km on the tacho?

Hello to everyone! Now I have my best and best Volvo (full equipment), which I had up to now, again 3 years. I bought it as a young used from the friendly. Current mileage is 124,900 km and now I would like to push the performance, after I could not get through to it so far, not because of the finances but because of “fear” of durability and increased load of the technology. But the desire for more performance and easier Ausgleic h the starting weakness at low speeds is at the moment quite big ! The questions, which are now up to date : 1) Should one not realize the project with the current mileage perhaps after all, because one should do the tuning perhaps only with newer engines? 2) Is it true that Heico requires 25% less, since the guarantee falls away ?? 3) What changes with the running culture, afterwards it runs rougher/core or this is louder? 4) Or nevertheless prefers to continue the good as until ? Cooler spins after every ride
Hello together I have a little problem with my S80 (T6 99er). Last week I drove to Italy and when driving back I drove a little bit faster.. 220 – 230… when came the exit I had to take to “unload”.. stopped in front of his house, motor out.. then it came to my mind that I should still run the car so that the turbos can cool down.. motor again.. 2 seconds ran.. is out again.. I thought maybe he didn’t have a sprite anymore. 50 meters further on was a fuel station, until there I arrived still scarcely, full fueled and dan again the same.. after recently studying I found out that my LMM is kaput.. (put out and drove home).. since then I have been on every small drive, even if the car is completely cold, and I drive only 20m and turn off the engine again, the cooler catches to turn. can m I’ll tell you if this could have something to do with the LMM or if that’s different? As long as the temperature stays in the normal range it shouldn’t be harmful for the engine to drive like that or? (clearly driving without LMM isn’t exactly the best for the engine, but LMM is on the road, should be there tomorrow or the day after tomorrow) Temperature stays in the middle range even for longer rides, cool liquid I have enough in it, oil too. would look forward to every tip. not the water pump…

C70 1 Automatic 2.4 T – what is the magic formula to get to the measuring rod of the automatic ?
Hello, well, I was surprised that the C70 doesn’t have the same oil measuring rod for the automatic oil as the V70. Reason may be that my V has a 4 gear autom. and the C70 has a 5 gear automatic. Or that the C is one year younger (2001er). Anyway, I don’t think that the one who changed that should decide anything anymore. At the bottom of the engine compartment, you can see the short scale with a safety click. From above, you can’t get there unless you take a morning off. H low down panel down, and also the wheelhouse shell, and you just can’t run.. How please can you get to the part? Oil drain screw I’ve seen, where to fill the automatic oil in? It should really only construct more people who have screwed at least 25 years…. Thanks beforehand !! lg Jerry

Accident, disaster.
Hello together. I recently had an accident with my V50 T5 Bj 09. The front right side has caught. Airbag is out etc. Now I want to ask you what I can do. 1.For the airbags I need a new control unit, if yes, where is the installation location? 2. Do I also need a control unit for the belt strapper, or does this possibly belong to the airbag control unit? 3. The seats have also extended to the rear. Do I need new ones, if yes, also fit from year 2005-2008? 4. Un Do bonnets, fenders and front aprons separate from the facelift to the front lift? 5.What else could be considered? I have an experienced screwdriver at hand, however, he doesn’t know this model very well.

S80 D5 is annoying at 100km/h
Hello, I have an S80 with D5 engine and 163hp 2005 with automatic. Recently it is negative that the car starts to roar at 80. At 100 you have the highlight so that I have to run my sound package otherwise you get pressure on the ears. At 110 km/h the noise decreases again and at 120 km/h and up it drives as I am used to it from the thick. It doesn’t matter whether I give gas or let the car roll. I would be grateful for every tip I myself The last inspection of the axles came 8 months ago and without any defects. Greeting Christopher.

S60: Rear silencer and other small items for the TÜV
Hello in the round, I drive a Volvo S60 Bj. 2003 with meanwhile 199,000 km and now with some horror accepted the estimate of the KfZ workshop – occasion is the due TÜV. All-in-all approx. 1.000,-, that can already spoil my vacation! And this looks like the greatest: brake cheeks manual brake renew: 51,- material (TBB set) 87,- work rear silencer renew: 366,- material (end silencer) 31,- work load/manual joint renew left bottom 69,- material (trag) joint) 47,- work joint protective cover re. outside (front axle) renew: 23,- material (joint cuff set wheel.) 127,- work What do you think about it, are these realistic values? (I mean only so, can one or the other have clear concerns. Actually, there is no reason for me to distrust the workshop) I tend to a more favorable solution in the rear silencer: not necessarily eBay test devices, but the part of IMASAF mentioned here in the forum quite often. merhin 120,- below. If someone has a different tip: always come with it! What is a little surprising about the joint cover: so much work for it? What do you think about it? Remote control for ex-works heating – Volvo V60
At the last service in February, I asked the dealer for a remote control for my heater (Webasto) ex factory. I would have to know that the solution with the Webasto remote control and receiver in the car is no longer offered. Instead, this should now work via software and the normal car keys (see photo). Which buttons should be pressed there?? How is there a feedback?? About vehicle blinker? My dealer could not tell me exactly about this. .. but should cost 240,00 EUR and work with my key.. !? In BC there is the function Immediate start of the heater. Wouldn’t it be possible to use this function for an e.g. GSM box?? I would simply look for a line that activates the heater against mass or +12V switched on? Is this somehow possible? Does an AEM module have to be available for this? Does anyone know about this? Would I be happy about suggestions/answers. Thank you!

Used XC60 with automatic, or better switch?
Just look for a new used one, probably it will be an XC60. Sumsum, all-wheel, D5/D4, emergency brake resistor, Xenon, seat heating are a must. Most used are with automatic gearbox, now some questions: 1. how reliable are these with Volvo? 2. which Aisin manufacturers were installed with XC60 from 2009 to today? 3. were there some weak points with gearboxes?
