    Hallochen, my old “Grande Dame” purrs like a young kitten (with 280 Tkm just entered 😉 ), but shows an ugly rust at the passenger door. In 2019 I had a cost estimate made by a body builder, so I fell backwards from the chair: He explained to me that he had to expand the facing of the side wall, seatrest and side windows on both sides. The cost estimate amounted to 2600 EUR. Do you think there is a simpler and cheaper pragmatic solution? My claim is not to have a flawless new car.     Hello guys, I did a test drive with a Volvo 850 last year and since then I have been looking for an opportunity to purchase one.     Hello guys,I drive a v50 2,4i carm. 170hp, am new on this community and have new findings about this error code: exhaust gas cleaning ! , it can also be due to dirty engine oil, which after the error reading at my workshop was replaced the air quantity meter and the error came up again and went away again and came again and went away again……, and now the engine oil was changed …. let’s see if held.

  • Save Spirt by full throttle or give little gas?

    Volvo 2.5 L petrol engine (BJ 1993) & automatic – full gas or slow gas? There was the thing about the bad fuel consumption in the “part load range”. What was that again? Is it better to accelerate with almost full gas, or quite slowly ? Simplified thought, is the energy that has to be applied to get to 60 km/h in urban traffic the same, right? Have you heard that 3/4 gas is optimal, but can someone contribute something well-founded to it? I might be driving quite wrong, is there rather the always slow accelerating type … to love the consumption ) Thank you !

    Hello, my friend ordered the following for my S60 T5: 2x crossbars 2x trackbars 1x upper motor bearing makes approx. 550 € *sigh* The upper motor bearing is not a problem according to VolvoProfi… Has anyone ever changed the crossbars? Do I have to hold the spring with spring tensioners in check, or how? I ask all these questions now without having seen in the service manual. the trackbars should not be the topic! Are 106€ measured for the track in order? I am happy about tips!!! I’m going to do the oil change. I had a Motul oil, I believe 0 or 5 W 40. Can this be?   • My V50 2.4i is now also a gas-elk !!!

    Hello together. From today my V50 runs on LPG. I picked it up today and noticed zero that it runs on gas. The same engine / exhaust noise….absolutely quiet running behaviour. To the installed system: – BRC P&D 5-cylinder. (without FL) – 50l wheel dump tank 650 x 200 (no increase of cargo space necessary) – tank connection under original tank flap – incl. Dish- / Germany adapter With installation, exhaust gas reports, TÜV reports and all papers incl. service booklet…………..for my opinion a really good course and indeed 1850€ !!! I uploaded some pictures with you. Can really recommend the conversion operation (Room LEV)….brought there yesterday and picked up today completely at noon. Be informed about my gas-elch as he does !!! Nice greeting from the Bergische Land

  • Restless idle, engine trembles

    I have a V50, model 2010, 2.0 Flexfuel, with 68,500 km of mileage. My elk has been having a restless idle for several months now, which expresses itself as follows: Speed remains stable and immediately but as soon as the engine is warm, after about 10 km of drive, then the engine trembles in the stand, after longer highway rides it has quasi chills, which is not only scary, but more than annoying. The start behavior in cold and heat is completely ok, as well as the gas acceptance, the passage and the max. speed likewise. There are no problems. Here the list of works, which have already been carried out in 5 workshops, of which 2 x the friendly, 1 x Bosch and two free, but which have immediately waved off. Error memory repeatedly read out and deleted, no faulty entries present test on allg. Andichten, all o.K. Zündkerzen have been changed by now 2 x. Zündspulen have also been cleaned by Drosselklappe valve play has been checked => i.O. Compression has also been updated.
