Hello! I’m still quite new here in the forum and fresh Volvo owners. I have a V40 Cross Crountry T4 AWD automatic, annual car since the end of December. So it’s all good so far, but at the moment I’m unsure of one of my assistance systems. The car has a cruise control and can also use radar to keep distance to cars ahead. If he does everything well, I put him in the city at 50 and at the greatest possible distance, he drives well behind the car in front of me. r, stops at traffic lights etc. It becomes funny when I drive behind a car and then switch to a left turn lane. The car accelerates then, if he before because of the front man eg only 30 drove on 50 and races on the cars, which are already in the lane in front of the traffic light, without braking. You then have to get into the iron quite quickly, otherwise he would probably crash in. I ask myself now if this is normal. Should he not also like before the front Fa after the lane change He also recognizes vehicles that shear in front of him and he also seems to notice those at the traffic lights, because the distance alarm lights and flashes and horns when you let it do it for the first time, but he doesn’t stop. Can someone say something? I haven’t had a car with such systems so far, my father’s Audi has no problems and doesn’t behave like that, according to his information. Would I really be happy if someone could help. Greetings, Sabrina

Volvo V40 engine clacks camshaft adjuster
Hello together. I have a V40 1.8l petrol, year 2003. Here the engine clacks in warm condition and I have the following error message. P0011 camshaft position, inlet side / left/front, cylinder row 1 – excessive early adjustment / function errors. In the workshop already the control times were checked, the seals changed, the camshaft adjuster changed and the solenoid valve. Before these measures the lashing and the error message was there also in cold condition. r still if the engine is warm. Maybe someone has an idea what it might still be. The workshop meant to try 10W 40 oil. Now 5W 30 is in. LG

Test drive XC60-D5-GT R-Design
Hello Volvo community, this week there are test drives with XC60, RRE, GLK and X3, decision then in early 2013. Here are my impressions of the XC60 after 120km: pro: – design I like (still) very well, especially the hip swing with the rear lights – the GT now does a good job, only from time to time switches it back unnecessarily for my taste (possibly GT instead of switch??) – material appearance interior – well made (distance)Tempomat (+/- in 5 steps) – folding – in Navi full-screen mode no display seat heating. – outdated display in monochrome – temperature display? – either I see the sign recognition or BC-Info – voice control has rather annoyed than helped (do I really talk so vaguely???) – motor under load already quite present (comes from the PSA-V6) – the R- suspension is an impact even with 17″ winter tyres (Attention: my personal statement, please no answer). “Hey, bin sich mit den 20″ vollfrieden” To prejudge the question: the XC70 is significantly worse in the leasing conditions. I’m looking forward to your comments Greeting DN

Quality of RTI navigation in Volvo V60
Moin together, I come back to the time when I can choose a new service car. Because of the budget a Volvo V60 is also in question. I find the basically good looking and the driving reports are always positive. If, then it would become a D3. A colleague got a V70 about 2 years ago. I drove with him now a few times – and I have to say that I was totally disappointed by the Navi (by the way). In the meantime, the route was very funny. For my colleague it is clear that he will never pick up a Volvo again, unless there is a good navigator installed there. I am also a frequent driver and therefore dependent on Navi. I know the operation via steering wheel buttons and remote control – I assume that it is just a matter of habit. I know Audi and Volkswagen up to now – and these were essential in the menu and in the look better (my opinion). Has the V60 installed the identical Navi or is there another one in it? How do “old” Audi or VW drivers feel the Navi from the V60. Unfortunately, in our region Volvo dealers are only quite isolated – so is for me rather a bigger trip.. At the last one it was so that the dealer had no V60 there and also had no idea. Achja – another question: In the configurator no trailer coupling is provided. What costs such a thing with Volvo? Vi Thank you in advance!

Particle filter D2 vs D3
Hey together, I have a more technical question: If it comes to a V40, I would probably decide between a D2 and a D3. I’m on the road at about 50,000 km/year. The price difference in itself is not so big with 1,300€. But how about the particle filter system? With my 1.6D in the C30 the filter had to be changed at 120,000km and we all know that this is not cheap. Is it not with the Volvo dies with 5 cylinders so that they have a maintenance-free system (no additive and no new filter)? Does anyone know what it will look like with the V40 D3? That would bring the costs even closer together in the long run with a frequent driver.

V 70 III T 6 Experiences sought
After a long time of reading along, the point has now come to ask yourself a question. I would be grateful about long-term experience with the V 70 T 6 as it is in the short choice of the upcoming vehicle change. Current vehicle is a V 70 II T 5 Summun, other competitors around the car park are Audi A 6 Allroad 4.2 FSI, Audi Q 7 4.2 TDI and perhaps, with a lot of overcoming, Mercedes E or R with corresponding motorization. icy class up to 35000,- € In the T 6 I would especially like to know if the chassis and brakes are now at the height of the time, this is not the case with my T 5. Also interesting is the question whether the many small electrics – nerves of the II – series still occur in the III. I am grateful for all the experiences, tips and hints …

ACCORD i-CTDi
Hi! I would like to ask you a few questions: I would like to buy a new car soon and swarmed between Honda Accord i-CTDi and the new Volvo S40 2,0D. Now some questions about the Honda: – The user-friendly is the touch screen display from the Navi? – Is there a difference between the normal and the premium sound system with the loudspeakers (apart from the number)? – Does anyone know where to get tuning chips for the i-CTDi? (Come from Vienna – Austria) Best with warranty on engine, drive e, etc.. – How do you like Accord riders in general??? ( suspension, quality, etc..) bye

Power loss at v-tec ee9
hallöchen honda freaks!I’ve been driving honda for 5 years now, so since I got my license. and that the engine has no power when the “sharp nock” goes on I’ve never had before. So when the engine is speeding up at 5400 rpm the v-tec turns on, but suddenly also loses power. So I can hear how the v-tech switches but notice very clearly that the car gets slower instead of faster.he doesn’t want to somehow. ut, but everything was in order. The valves are complete, the piston rings are also ok.have all seals made again.new ignition plugs.was already with honda, but they have not found anything unusual during the diagnosis test.Züdung correct, exhaust values also and the control unit does not flash either. Then I tested the petrol pressure regulator, was also ok with the gasoline release (250ml in 10 sec).have also changed the main railay for the fuel supply (left below under the cockpit).I know simply no more! Can anyone help me?
