Hello first of all, I have a V70, year 2001 with LPG system and 220,000 km on the clock since yesterday. I noticed two things, for which I would need tips: The servolankung is sometimes too difficult, e.g. after a longer motorway ride. Oil is enough in it, I think it is due to the pump. But I don’t even know how to get down the rib belt. Where does it get relaxed or relaxed? And how do you get there? (Obviously, because I’m not an inexperienced screwdriver in itself). Then ma But I can’t locate where the noise comes from. The TÜV man could not tell anything. Does anyone have any experience with it? How long do the things last? When do you switch them for safety reasons? Then I would like to have a workshop manual for the V70 (2.4), someone knows what? I had that from Haynes for my 945, was quite okay. I say thank you.

No oil pressure and clapping from approx. 2500 u/min
Hello dear Volvo community, I am now almost again despairing ………….. now my Dickelch ( Volvo S80/2.9 l ) was back in the workshop, oil change was due again, now after about 500 km the message No oil pressure immediately stops in BC and from 2500 u/min it starts to clap. I of course immediately turned off the engine and had the car dragged into a workshop, check the oil pressure switch was I.O. now the guess of the workshop master either it acts s I am very disappointed now and play with the thought of getting 5 l of fuel and finally burning off the scissor………. First of all I will drink a frustration beer ….. What is your opinion and experience ?? Who has had the problem ?? gruss a frustrated eifeler33

225/35 R18 on V70II D5?
Hello, I may have the opportunity to organize OZ Hydra rims 8Jx18 H2 ET35 (wheel type: 01652 201) including the following tyres: 225/35 R18. I fear, however, that the 225/35 R18 is not sufficiently sustainable. Can anyone help me? At the moment drive the Thor 17″ on my D5, year 2004. As far as I can see this as layman, my car is in the current report of the OZ Hydra, but under tires only 225/40 R18 is in it. The rim is really chic. k. Would be stupid if I had to throw down the 225/35 just to raise 225/40. Sorry, but I am in terms of rims, press-in depths etc. unfortunately real layman! Thank you! Have added the current report.

XC90 PDC front
Hello together, someone can tell me what a PDC retrofit costs in the front incl. the bumper protection and installation of the XC90 Mod.06. My friend firmly claims that the bumper protection is extra and costs everything together around 1100.- Euro. In my accessory price list from 2007 however “parking aid incl. bumper protection” for the model years 2005-2006 for 410.-Euro incl. VAT. Thank you in advance.

Volvo V70 or S80 short bearing if possible
Hi guys, we’re currently driving an Opel Omega 2.0 16V Bj 98. We’re looking for a Volvo, we’ve already looked at a V70 with 170 Ps and 2.4 liters. Nice thing so with climate, leather, glass roof, heater, E-seat and so Bj 2000 and 168Tkm on the clock for 7500 euros. The H.ändler also had a Dekra expert report, I don’t give that much. Today we’re looking at a S80 Bj 10.2001 with also 2.4 liters and 170 hp. He also has leather, climate, car phone system, and Radi/Cd HU 6 01, DSTC and Tempomat etc for 5800 Euro ach ja 156Tkm on the clock. What should one pay attention to, what says the verbauch are both automatic 🙂 should be so desired. What do the parts do so, rust etc. Would be grateful for any answer and help. Lg Martin

Volvo 850 t5 bj. 94 2,3l 5-cylinder vacuum hoses.
Hello together, I changed the days the quick coupling to the warm exchanger and changed the cables in the engine compartment. The air filter box had to go out and some vacuum hoses went off. After the assembly and the warm drive I noticed that de Elch accelerated like wildly and the turbo turned up without limit until he had strong dropouts. At the same time the charging pressure indicator marched to the right over the display area. I don’t know exactly which hose belongs to where. My predecessor has at least partially replaced it with a kind of wiping water pipe. The hard art pipes lie in softer hoses of different diameters practiced are partly connected by such sockets. Someone knows how the hoses are properly laid, so which hose is laid from where to where and which diameter they have to be Sss? I’m totally desperate. Thank you so much. Greetings Joko2000.

rattles front right
Hello, after I replaced crossbars and pendulum supports, I thought the flap would stop at the front right. Unfortunately, it is not. Also, the tire at the front right on the inside was quite worn out, which I connected with the old crossbar, as well as steering wheel vibrations from approx. 90 km/h. They are still there. The flap occurs with short bumps/impacts. I got an appointment for the track setting. But I probably can’t get the flap with it. Can it be the spring leg or the right motor bearing? Or anything else? Would be grateful for any hint. Jürgen

Brake line cannot be detached from the rear caliper
Hello guys, Once again I hope with the help of your experience for the following problem to find the most practicable solution. So, I want to renew the brake caliper at the rear. Since last winter a brake caliper at the front caused me a lot of trouble (as always in the most unfavorable moment), I wanted to be faster this time and exchange old for new before. So buy parts and also a suitable special key for the screwing of the brake line. But when trying to lure these rn, first gave up the brass screw connection on the brake line and when the key no longer reached and I tried it with pliers and enormous force I really came to the limits that I trust the brake line. But nothing moved. Obviously the relatively long threaded path in the brake caliper is really baked with this brass screw connection. I assume that it is the first brake caliper and thus they are now already in it since 1999 and have plenty of 400. Yes, what can I do now? A: Get the next piece of brake line (about 40 cm) until the next screw connection and hope that I can solve it….. B: Saw off the brake line above the screw connection, get me a new screw connection and unscrew the end of the brake line… C: Unfortunately I have no further ideas and no experience with fixed brake lines. Therefore my question. Who has had a similar problem and how to solve it ……. e in Saxony in Hesse

Opinion on the replacement of a V70I with V70III – Facelift
Hello guys, I would like to hear some subjective opinions on this topic, because I can’t really decide for myself. For over a year I own my V70I from 1999 and think about replacing it with another V70 due to the high consumption and miserable painting of the previous owner. The previous owner has painted the car with a paint roller in matte green. Unfortunately, this takes the vehicle any chance of the future (since I have to drive to customers occasionally). The friendly mechanic has estimated me 500 € for this. Now I have weighed two possibilities. Either I buy a well-kept V70I again and will have it maintained and maintained as well as an LPG system installed to reduce my fuel costs. I will continue to repair defects myself. The V70I is perfect for screwing. So far I have only had positive experiences. Or… … I am looking for a well-kept V70III from 2010 (These l) with high mileage (>300,000km). The fuel consumption here is 5.5 l/100 km. Here I worry that the screwing becomes significantly more difficult. The spare parts all have to be learned and I will not get around the visit of a workshop. Both options cost about 5,000 €. Do you have ideas or comments about my thought course? I have been dealing with this question for about 2 months and am happy about suggestions. Data of the current vehicle: Mod el: V70I 1999 – 9101/815 Kilometer level: 340.000 km Fuel consumption: 9 l/100 km Repair costs in one year: 500 € Fuel costs per year: 2,250 € Annual mileage: 15,000 km Power: 140 hp Warmest greetings Poke

Questions about switching from XC60 to XC90
A happy hello to the round of moose drivers! Please be lenient with me, because this is my first post in this great forum (Prosecco is at the end). So if I do something wrong or have not noticed, please don’t start scolding. My experiences with Volvo, however, are not so virginal in nature. After V50, V70 and an XC60 I am now faced with the decision to put a big brother at the side of the XC60 and put the V70 in the eternal hunting grounds with the XC90 D5 I plan to drive about 25,000 km a year, lots of city traffic, but also really long distances in the high north or the deep south of Italy. Simply roof box on it, then all two and four-legged friends on board – and let’s go. With the XC90 I hope to make the arrival and departure in the holiday to an event. With the XC60 it was already a bit more cramped, especially for the behind the long Lulatsch on the Fah long speech, little sense. Now to my questions to you: Thank you for your help…
