  • Starter does not spin

  • Cheaper Grom alternative for Bluetooth retrofitting

    Here’s a tip for those who want to connect their smartphone to the radio via Bluetooth, but who (like me) have the GROM solution too expensive. Briefly to the background: I had previously installed a Bluetooth adapter from Adapter-Universe in my C30 with high performance audio system, which had a good sound, but often failed (which is, of course, impractical, as it was at the back of the radio unit). Since the GROM solution was too expensive for me, I spent a while with it. In the meantime there is GROM but also a kind of replica called MR12Volt. Works very similar (i.e. music and hands-free function via Bluetooth with display on the radio display, operation via the steering wheel or the operating buttons in the waterfall console, USB port etc.) and can be installed invisibly. I ordered the good piece once fun for almost 140,- at Ebay and up to now it works perfectly. Not even MOST-security had to be turned off (w Of course I can’t say anything about the long-term stability yet. 140 Euro is still a bar of money, but there are many other possibilities not to expand the functions of the audio system. Maybe this helps one or the other here, if it has not been posted somewhere.

    I need your help or tips again. It’s about my V50, 1.6D, year 2008, about 148.000 km. Recently I notice that it often regenerates. Often it means almost every 100 km and less. It jerks then and takes off badly gas. When reading with Torque the error is 2458, particles filter regeneration too long. When I notice this, I always drive until the “intake” temperature has dropped to about 40 degrees, at the same time the current consumption falls. I’m happy. He easily creates 190 km/h and has a consumption of about 7.5 / 5.5 liters (city / highway or overland). The Volvo gets all the maintenance at Volvo, the particulate filter has been in it since about 40,000 – also built in by Volvo. Now my question – why does it regenerate so often?   • Troubleshooting Ignition electrics – Specialists asked!

    Hello together, I’m looking for possible solutions for a problem with one of our two Volvo 850 … vehicle: Volvo 850 LW (comb) 2.5 l, 140 kW, key number 9101 / 495 Bj 1994 Symptom: engine runs from start round, turns easily high at the beginning. After about 20 min. it “swallows” itself while gas. Critical speed range: approx. 1600 – 1800 rpm. Above it runs round, below it also, only the gas giving causes dropouts, especially on the mountain, so under load, or at fast durc The drop-outs become more and more frequent / heavier and it finally goes out with the gas, then does not start any more. After about 60 minutes it starts again than its NOTHING was… runs well-tempered in the stand and turns again high… until after some time, so again after 20 to 40 minutes everything reoccurs again. Suspect: error in the ignition electric. Diagnosis of the workshop: ignition coil is through. Thermal expansion, thus possibly mass closure or reduced conductivity. Recommendation of the workshop: Change ignition coil. Action: New ignition coil of PolarParts installed. Ignition cable coil>Distributor also renewed. The gas acceptance now feels “agile” but the swallowing and the described symptoms are still there. Other: vehicle was completely overhauled 3 months ago, new HU, engine-side work: valve shaft seals new, timing belts, water pump, oil trap new, camshaft sensor cleaned, candles new, distributor un d Finger new, ignition cable distributor>Cancel new.     Hello together, had said some time ago that I would give feedback about the workshop visit and the little woeWhchen which the V70 had: 1) Metallic rattles below the vehicle at 2000 tours in the 3rd gear: Someone had suspected here that it could be a loose tin from the cat and so it was also according to friendly.
