Hello, after a long consideration I intend to buy the SC 805. I have upgraded all speakers of the Premium Sound line. Unfortunately you do not get the suitable amplifiers to the radio so often. How is that, if I want to connect any other amplifier to it? The radio has this round connection – is there there any suitable adapter or does someone know how this plug is used? And of course the question, which amplifier would fit optimally to the loudspeakers. Or does the radio already suffice from the power itself?

GDL calibration error left
Hello together, Unfortunately I do not get the CEM error 8A39 gas discharge lamp module fixed. I have already tried the following: 1. Headlights changed crosswise – Error did not migrate with (left of the faults) 2. Position encoders Level 2 and 4 Volt 3. New headlights installed 4. Control unit changed under the wheel box without change. 5. Red burner unit changed crosswise Unfortunately, the error always remains left. When the engine is switched on, only the left headlight goes up and down and stays down. The left one doesn’t move at all.

Noise when switching- C70 Automatic
Hello Together 🙂 I noticed today with my C70 T5 automatic (2007, 95,000km) that he makes a “scratching” sound when he first(!) switches into the second gear after the engine start, then nothing can be noticed anymore, he switches as always, no matter in which gear. Even if I start again from the stand and he switches into the second gear everything is good. If I repeat the whole thing every time and turn off the engine before, it is again to hear this noise when first switching into the second gear, then it is gone again… I hope you can give me some advice! Turbocharger defective – must say goodbye to the Volvo V50
Well – on 01.01.2016 the turbocharger at my V50 (year 2006, 1.6d, 177000) said goodbye. The Volvo workshop informed me that the repair (loader, all pipes, oil tank,…) would cost 250€. Had probably also the wrong oil in 5W40 and they know internally that these engines can only handle 0W40… They also told me that even after the repair of the loader can soon break again. In the engine itself could be oil lumps and possibly also chips from the turbo. Does anyone have experience here regarding the turbo repair at the V50 1.6d? Can one sell the possibly so? BG maig1

Private leasing return
Hello everyone, with me the separation from my Volvo V60 is in a few days. My dealer offered me 4 weeks ago the car by the DEKRA free of charge to check and then on the actual return date no surprises to experience. I took advantage of that! The nice DEKRA human has determined a bump and scratch left back and the polished aluminium rims have scratches. Titled he has this damage as a minor value! Now to my actual question. According to the leasing contract I should have been allowed to drive during the four years 100000km. In fact, I drove only 76000km. According to the contract there is an amount x back for 10000km from the LesingBank. But what about the remaining 14000km? Do these not drive these KMs as added value? I would be pleased with numerous answers.

XC70 BJ 2012 Rumbling the rear axle
The following problem with my XC70: If the car starts at 120kmh quickly uphill you notice an unpleasant vibration from the area of the rear axle. As soon as the car goes downhill or flat, the rumbling is gone. The following things could cause the behaviour: Old oil in the rear axle differential Defects Haldex coupling Porous Haldex disc (made of hard rubber) dampens the vibrations. Defects bearings in the AOC (interax differential) Evident defects wheel bearings at the rear (but can be excluded) Does anyone know this behavior? It occurs mainly in partial load operation – hardly is it quiet from the gas. Achja’s running performance is currently at 290000km. Year of manufacture is 12/2011 with the 215 hp D5 machine. Thanks

Cylinder head gasket over.
Hello I’m desperate about my good old 850s and thought, maybe someone can give me a tip here. I don’t know myself well (maybe it only drives because I love it so much) and unfortunately I haven’t found a decent workshop yet or someone who could advise me. My dear car got a new TÜV in August and drove until yesterday totally smooth. Unfortunately, the cooler is now worn off. The somewhat unromantic type from the workshop to which the ADAC has dragged me meant only: “Cylind head seal, the old box can be on the garbage. ????. So as I said, I’m very attached to the car. I only plugged in in in August 2000 Euro and not a good workshop. What do you think it’s worth taking money again? Maybe someone can help me further and has a recommendation for screwdrivers in the Munich area. Many thanks!!!

Seat heating depending on the passenger seat occupancy?
I’m just wondering if the seat heating of the passenger seat (with a V70 MJ06) when it’s on is also working when no one is sitting in the passenger seat. Warm the seat is not actually going to be, but this can also be because the seat surface comes into contact with the heating only by sitting on it and is therefore heated. Despite a long search I have found here no meaningful information about this besides a side info in this thread:http://www.motor-talk.de/…/PostJump.html?… It would of course be very useful if the seat heating of the passenger seat only heats when the seat occupancy detection is on. Then I could also let it turn on now in winter. Otherwise I don’t want to let it run idle. Can anyone give me a definite statement about this here? Thank you, Tobi

Solution: torn off tank lid in Waschstrasse
The reprogramming of the shutter speed is not a solution, since the tank lid remains open from the inside when locking up. Also with me the tank lid was open every time after the washing road visit. Finally I found a simple remedy. To do this one has to know that the tank lid is opened by the dry blower of the wash road and tears off in an unfavourable case. The air jet blows into the “finger arching” of the lid and creates an overpressure in the small volume between the lid and screw cap. This overpressure finally presses the tank lid on. Remedy: Glue a adhesive strip from the inside over the arch! This adhesive strip is not visible from the outside (if one does not take exactly white adhesive tape), but prevents the air from entering the small volume between the lid and screw cap. The adhesive strip is about 4 cm wide and 8 cm long. Since this small modification, the lid remains reliable with me (since 6 washings)! Please Volvo Grus!

Cylinder head part number XC60
Hello together, my Volvo has the problem with cooling water loss, CO2 test was positive – after that the ZKD was changed, one saw during the expansion also a notch in the seal. Juhu thought that was it, new seal pure and finished. Unfortunately no, during the test drive the water boiled again over and CO2 test positive. Now my workshop (free) meant that it is then the ZK itself. I am on the search for a head where lt. Volvo has the part number 36050523, that is the successor of 36010025, but there is only a new part for 3700 Euro. So much I have planned for a head incl. installation 🙁 After research I also come to the part number 3077365 or 31401468. Is then sold at Ebay for 1999,— Euro incl. 12 months warranty until 40tkm.Ebay Has someone an idea whether these heads fit? KFZ Leezen has only a revision in the offer for this, not in exchange. Does that work at all? I want to make it already, to change to the gear of 10, the gear – not completely – to the gear of the gear – has not to look.
