  • Understanding Question of Consumption Indicators

    With the consumption indicator of the BC I have my problems. Up to now the BC have worked each of my vehicles differently. In the stand with running engine and inserted driving stage the BC shows no momentary consumption, what is chatty, the engine is running yes. If I let go of the brake, the BC shows a consumption of approx. 23 liters from about 10 KM/H. If, however, I drive on the country road or highway, then take the foot off the gas and let the push-off work, the consumption goes no I don’t know why. I can’t understand. I don’t work the push-off, or the BC from Volvo actually works differently than others. Background to the demand, the pock sucks like a hole. Even on the highway at a moderate speed I don’t get below 11.5 liters. I don’t like to think about what the poop will blow away when I have the trailer on it. Greetings

    After more than a year of intensive search and several kilometers across the whole country I have finally found my great love. C 70 T5 Description First hand – Ember Schwarz Metallic with dark brown full leather equipment ,BJ 8.2012 Checkbook maintained and almost 57000 km ran. Seen, examined, made and bought extensive test drive, because he also liked my OHL everything went very fast. Since Friday he is now with me and I never had so much joy, I’m just at the grin.   • Meaningful range of maintenance for little drivers?

    Hello together, the Volvo maintenance arithmetic is not stored anywhere in the manual transparent – however, thanks to the friendly help of a forist of the VIDA expression for the maintenance work of my C70 D3 MY2013. With me now 3 years after EZ the 3rd maintenance is available and indeed not because of the KM limit of 90TKM, but simply because of time lapse. The driving performance last year was only nearly 10TKM (total now approx. 43TKM) Already during the last maintenance the exchange of Fuel and air filters are omitted, which also corresponds to the specification in the VIDA plan: “Change only according to km / miles interval”. For K+L filters the change to 60TKM is planned. I understand correctly that I can also leave out the replacement of K+L filters this year if I assume that I will not exceed the 60TKM until the next inspection (60-43=17TKM – beautiful weather trips unlikely) I would hate to renovate a luxury through the workshop. buy – on the other hand the completely official stamp in the manual does not endanger (maintaining the connection guarantee; resale value etc.) If you go through there: Thanks for a illumination Greetings Cesiezig

  • Top speed V70 MY2015 2.0T VEA T5 245PS

    Moin, last year I had a VOLVO V70 run as a shuttle vehicle in the United Arab Emirates with the 2 litre VEA engine (T5, 245hp). He lacks e.g. the sport mode, he has only “Eco” and “normal”. He also gives a “speed warning” when over 120 km/h. As a top speed he reaches “only” 220 km/h at approx. 6.000 rpm, registered in the vehicle certificate are 235 km/h. Zero oil consumption, fuel consumption smaller 8 litres/100 km, acceleration felt g ut. mileage lt. Tacho (…) current 210,000 km. Does anyone know anything about a limitation by SW to a maximum speed of taxi vehicles? Or is the v_max limited? I want to exclude the SW as a cause before I go looking for other causes in the friendly…

  • Brake disc front crook

    Moin together! I drive a Volvo V60 CC (9101/BCC) with the first registration 08/2017. I wrung the car as an annual car over Volvo 07/2018 with about 22,000 km. On the vehicle there are tracks mounted by the company Heico as well as an increase in performance. At the beginning I did not pay attention, however, so at about 60,000 km (summer 2019) fell on the driving wheel to vibrate / wobble / slag at the start of the start of the braking / downbrakes from 160/140/120 km/h. Did the blocks and discs in February b However, not with the friendly but so with accessories “Zimmermann”. Yes, the saddle was sufficiently cleaned. Now in 08/2020 at approx. 78000 km the same problem occurs again. On request with the nice Volvo uncle it is of course the “cheap” accessory goods with originals that would not happen! Normal braking – no full braking The front was not blue at the time and is not now, but we suspect “Kruimm” again.   • DPF problems

    Moin, I am constantly in trouble with the exhaust gas cleaning of my XC70 D5 model year 2012. After the first message came “Filter clogged, replacement required” (I don’t know the exact error name at the moment) I had a regeneration carried out by the tester – without success. So: Filter was removed and manually cleaned. The whole thing then held so about 2000km. Then the message came that the pressure did not hit. So the pressure sensor was changed. Also this was not of long duration. E rneut error message: “Filter full of nails with heads: new DPF. there was a new temperature sensor, because the old one could not be dismantled. The whole held then again about 2000km. Then again the message: Press not in order. On Kulanz then a new pressure sensor was installed and for safety again a regeneration was carried out on the tester. Same game: about 2000km later the control light for the exhaust gas cleaning went on again. Any ideas ? It is all new and i h never drive short distances. Tubes and cables were checked every time. All the work was done at a Bosch service and they are actually really good. Slowly, however, I have little desire for my car …

  • Clack clack, ciao climate compressor

    After only 8 years and not 130’000km the climate compressor says goodbye. In the CH it costs me the good 1500 incl. work, material and replacement car. Half a year ago a transmission exchange was due (fortunately in the Swiss Premium guarantee). Is the premium? I noticed this by a strange clacking in the stand operation, climate off, no noise. Climate on. Klack clack, like a defective warehouse… Cordial advice of the workshop master until repair: air conditioning NOT turn on, since Otherwise, there’s a threat of consequential damage.

  • Original Volvo LED TFL retrofit in XC70 MY2013

    Dear Volvo Community Two photos of my Volvo XC70 MY2013 just made in the appendix, in which I had two original Volvo LED TFL (LED TFL set from the Volvo V50/S40/C30) retrofitted by a Volvo garage of my confidence. Contrary to many of the opinions I had received – also from well-known Volvo garages in Switzerland – my project was not feasible, I did not give up and finally found an innovative Volvo garage, which already had very good experiences with LED TFL I wanted to have original Volvo LED TFL installed and no cheap China scrap products, such as those offered on many auction platforms. I am very satisfied with the product! As soon as the engine is running, the LED TFL will automatically turn on. Only these on the vehicle, no rear final lighting, only the LED TFL. The light switch is in the position “0”. As soon as the stand-up or turn-off is switched on, switch I have been looking for a suitable solution with LED TFL for about 3 years (initially for my then V50 MY 2011). Many customer service employees and garage bosses from well-known Volvo garages almost laughed at me, with my idea. But I didn’t let it stop me. In the end, I was also lucky enough to have an already upgraded Volvo XC70 MY2013 on the road. If you really want something – don’t give up – don’t stop at anyone and just trust yourself…. You can do anything – if you want it too… Ps. From MY2014 the new Volvo XC70 has the same LED TFL as standard, only with a different cover (this will be retrofitted to me as soon as the first vehicles have arrived in the Volvo garage and then the spare parts can be ordered). n, for this reason the photos still show the covers of the MY2013).For further questions I am happy to be reached by PN…

  • New Volvo “User”

    The topic is a bit older, but I still give my experience for the best. I changed from the Audi A3 1.8T to the S60 MJ2012 D3 (163ps @ 3500U/min) summum with Geartronics from about two weeks ago. I didn’t find it very difficult to make the decision for the Volvo in general. I had been looking at Volvo for a long time and I didn’t like the German brands very much from the outside design and the interior. At the beginning I thought about the 163hp diesel with oh I decided for the GT. To my taste the GT fits better with the vehicle. Actually I expected a higher consumption with the GT. But after the second tank I was surprised. 6,2l per 100km I think for the vehicle is completely OK. It was the first ride and I am still adapting my drive handle. According to BC I have a consumption of an average of 5,8l at the moment on the road but there are also 5 ,0 according to BC no problem. One way forward, I drove normally, as fast as the STVO allows…

    Hello guys I’m interested in Volvo’s flagship with V8. After someone on the BAB made me look stupid in my Bavarian 335d, I would like to do something like that.
