About 10 years ago, the ABS error “wheel sensor at the rear right” came in. A dear Forist then soldered me the control unit. Since then, I had rest. Now the ABS lamp lights up from time to time. I read the following with Delphi: 312 ABS wheel sensor at the front right – circle faulty 322 ABS wheel sensor at the front right – extrapolation counter 443 pump motor – electrical or mechanical error Then I reset the errors and drove another 10 minutes. The re-reading brought the error 312 (see above). What do you mean, is the controller again the first suspect in this error pattern?

V50 2.4i R Design purchasing advice
Hello. be close to getting this moose to me http://www.schrafft.de/index.php?a=used after having read the purchase advice here in the forum in detail, I came to the decision that it should be a gasoline in R design. After several rides to different gravelbed dealers and private sellers I decided to take one for a little more money directly from Volvo dealer. My driving profile is about 9tkm a year. Mostly a distance of 5km to and 5km back to work. Through the city. A diesel with PDF is not worth it. How do you find the car at the price with so few kilometers? What should I consider? Is the 2.4i perhaps not the right engine for my track profile? The dealer can do nothing at the price, but I get 1 year warranty as well as the warranty. TÜV and inspection New. Greeting Aleks

Volvo S40 II Headlights light up to the left
Hello and good day, I changed a few weeks ago from a Mercedes C-Class to a Volvo S40 II (Bj. 09/2005). I’m really very happy with the vehicle and the driving characteristics. Only one thing causes me problems. The main lights (no Xenon) both glow strongly to the left and I blind the incoming vehicles. A visit to the Volvo dealer showed that the spotlights were a little too low, but otherwise are fine. Nevertheless, they continue to glow to the left. Also the range seems too low (estimated 50-60m). In the search function of the forum I found many posts about spotlights, but nothing about my problem. Does anyone have a tip or a solution ? Greeting to all…..

Longer service life – anything to consider?
Hello together, because of a changed private situation my V50 has been for some time and still for an indefinite time more lantern parker than vehicle. In other words: the car is only rarely used, so again and again one to three weeks at the roadside. Then one to two days of “use” (exclusively long distance) are available before a longer parking period begins again. My question is now: Is there anything to consider because of the constant and longer standing times? Or is this relatively irrelevant to the car as long as enough long distance for the battery joins again and again? Greetings from Munich Thomas

Volvo 850 Radio goes on and off while driving
Hello together I have a problem with my Volvo 850 built in 1993. And that’s when the radio has recently turned on and off. When I hit left the radio goes on at a certain point and when I put the steering wheel back on straight place the radio goes off. Sometimes the radio goes off completely and sometimes only the music. I have already looked if a cable rubs somewhere at the steering column. But that’s not the case. I hope someone can help me.

Volvo V70-II (2001) + Clarion MAX973HD?
Hello, now it is decided, I will buy 95% today a Volvo V70-II from 2001 and upgrade to gas. Unfortunately, the no navigator has in it. and of the available solutions I clearly like the Clarion MAX973HD best. However, the installation frame offered by Clarion BKX-1354-01 is only for V/0 from 2004 onwards. Now my questions: – Does anyone have the MAX973HD — possibly even in a V70? — experience? – Can it be that the kit only goes from 2004 onwards? Was there a change? – Is there a double DIN frame for the V70 Bj 2001? (EZ 08/2001) – Do I need a CAN bus adapter? (This could involve more complicated questions, as there are several here…) Well, more could follow… Thank you for your answers, Gerhard. Hello dear MotorTalkCommunity! Thank you for getting into the forum. I’m standing in front of my first used car purchase, actually even the first visit ever? I’m looking for a car for a longer trip next year and I’m now convinced it’s supposed to be a Volvo 850 or V70-1. The price range is very wide, partly the massive price differences are also obvious to me, partly but also not. I assume that I have to invest a lot more before the trip anyway and therefore think about taking a cheaper, more worn vehicle as a base. C30 no oil pressure
Hello, unfortunately I have problems with my C30 again. With overtaking maneuvers the engine suddenly lost power. No engine control light only the oil can (oil pressure) lit up. According to the workshop the injection nozzles are clogged, but according to other mechanics, is that nonsense. Could it be the oil filter, sieve or the like?? Currently there are again many maggots on the road, I fear ‘only’ a madbit…?? Has somehow a tip or experience? Should I have the injection nozzles tested first, are also 300€… Info: Diesel, 148,000 km, last service (all filters cleaned!) ca 10 months ago Thank you for your help! Mic

Purchase advice: 960/S90, or 850/S70, or S80 I limousine?
Hello Volvo friends, I would like to buy a youngtimerlimousine from the 90s (possibly also early 2000s). The 9 series is awarded great quality, reliability and also very good rust prevention, is this also true for 850/S70? I am looking for a saloon with 5- or 6-cylinder gasoline in very good condition with the following minimum equipment: Safety: – ABS – Airbags for driver, passenger and side airbags – 3 3-point harnesses and headrests back Comfort: – Air conditioning – Central locking – Power steering The S80 I could theoretically be considered, but is it as good as a 960/S90 in terms of solidity and rust prevention?
