  • REFERENCE Volvo V70 AWD/XC

    Already for the time being, but now very intense: H I L F E !!!!!!! Who can help, who knows advice, what can I do ? I am grateful for every hint as long as it leads to the solution of the problem. The problem: My Volvo V 70 I Cross Country is optically the hottest companion, which one can think of, brilliantly from the equipment, but he is sick, ticking and not getting any more: he vibrates to the best extent. At first, vibrating was limited to cornering, more and more In the meantime it is always, very violent, especially in curves (you have the impression that it rips the steering wheel out of your hand) and it no longer disappears. Vibrations from the front car area, during strong acceleration, vibrations in curves (even worse on the right than on the left), vibrations in the whole car, the pedals, the steering wheel, the gear knob. And nobody finds a mistake or knows something about it: Vol vo Germany couldn’t help several Volvo dealers don’t know what to do, free workshops can’t help and even four-wheel specialists don’t know any more advice. Diagnoses so far: Drive shaft: Supposedly unlikely according to all the statements. All-wheel: works, cardan shaft rotates with normal game, seems to have no imbalance. Angle gear: Who knows that … ? The sleeve can’t actually cause such vibrations, the whole thing about ? Bearings: Are Obviously all OK and even those alone are never responsible for such vibrations. Gearboxes in themselves: hmmmm … maybe … but turns well … rather not … Experiments so far: Cardan shaft developed: Vibration much weaker, but present. Meanwhile, the shaft is back in, the vibrations are there of course. But I am sure that everything trembles now even without the shaft. Drive shaft tested for play: Everything in the normal range. Cardan shaft tested for play: All OK. Ta using explanations and attempts to explain – no solution. Who can help, who has had such a thing before, who knows what ?????? Thank you all already now!

  • Error codes read out-V 70 2.4 T ! What error causes troublesome motor run?

    Hello , now have the following error codes read out. One has deleted the memory now and I should drive far away. Then one will see again which error will occur again. How long should I drive now? 500 km in 2 weeks? Is that enough? These are the errors: Error code- Motor-Bosch ME 7.01 Code: 37632 Engine control unit – Communication disturbed Code: 4874 Air quantity/mass meter, signal faulty Code: 8218 Valve Coolant circuit, temperature under control range. Could the problem described in the following text probably cause?? The workshop did not want to express itself yet! In the following I explained my problem with the slightly restless motor running while accelerating. : My V70 2.4 T , Mod.2001, had a little bit of power on which I bought it in November and made noises on the solenoid valve which regulates the turbocharge pressure (charge pressure control valve …). The part was renewed and the car finally had the right performance and For the first time I heard the turbocharger whistling softly from about 1800 revolutions. So it should be, shouldn’t it? But the solenoid valve still makes noises from time to time (it creaks a little bit about 10 seconds), when I turn off the car and turn off the engine…but that’s probably normal, because the turbo pressure is now there. But if one accelerates something under load, so in the 3rd or 4th gear from speed 60 full throttle, then one notices a slight jerking from about 2000 to almost 3000 revolutions. It’s not strong, but the driver notices it. It feels like you suddenly get a strong headwind (storm) from the front and the car is slowed down very easily in the acceleration. So it doesn’t accelerate cleanly….! This only occurred immediately after the change of the solenoid valve. First the dealer had the hope that it would play itself again when the car was driving for some time with the new correct and strong turbo pressure. t, but it’s not like that. (It’s probably been driven without turbo pressure for a long time) What else could cause an unround acceleration?? Thank you

    … one could believe, if one looks at the following figures for the V70 P26. I now have 5 offers available: 700 to 790 euros for the whole action, so exchange of the flap with material, work and taxes. The highlight is that for the mechanical assembly alone it is necessary to slash about 70 euros. For this I need incl. cleaning 5 minutes. (I made 2x) Makes an hourly wage of 840 euros. In the year this is 1.2 million euros. Looks very much like usury / fraud. This must be a fake to protect the “friendly” monopolist. Thank you @ volvocarl: When can we do without software?

    Hello dear motor-talker. I have had a problem with my elk V70 D5 BJ 2005 for about 4 weeks. After the start comes very sporatic 2 error messages. 1.ABS/Slip.Wait.Required 2Bremsassistant Wart.Required and additionally lights up the ABS lamp. ABS at this moment also without FKT, could be felt with the beautiful snow. Then it goes again 1 week, then lights up again after the start. Was with the friendly error memory read out and reset. Ig or something. Last week another brake pedal changed because it was in the error memory, but unfortunately again today this “SCH” message.According to friendly ones he wants to change the control part now ?????????? costs really money. My question would be, since the problem always appears during the start process, it might also be the battery. This is now also 4.5 years. Has someone event.Experience with the same problem.     Hello, I would like to ask you to give me a short assessment of which selling price for my XC 90 is realistic. So the price for which it can also be implemented. I have already looked at mobile etc., but there are comparable XC 90 with 18000,00 € – 23000,00 € and I dare doubt that this will work. My car is 2nd hand and MwST. is no longer passable: XC 90 Comfort from 01.2004 with 120 TKM 7 seats Automatic D5 motor with 163 HP (yellow badge) 18 Inch Atlantis (brand tyres run about 10000 km) Heating (thanks to the dealer in D) Wooden steering wheel Speedy servo leather (in the comfort package with inside) Xenon dark discs 2. Air conditioning for 3rd row of seats Parkpiepser rear Radio High Performance (vehicle has no RTI NAVI !) Vehicle is top maintained (check booklet Volvo) and has no flaws or accident o.a.   • V60 D3 2014 – Volvo On Call & Start/Stop without function

    Hello, please, I need your help… Since mid-April, my Volvo V60 D3 2014 Volvo on Call has been running without function, as well as start/stop no longer works. In the VoC app it says that the vehicle is in rest mode. The suggested manual start does not bring any improvement. Last entry in the travel book is from Easter Sunday. After that the car was not moved for about 8 days. Since the problems… :-/ I was last week at the dealer, there were all the current Upd but it didn’t work for the VoC control unit – it stopped 3 times, also a disconnection of the battery and subsequent replay attempt failed. Start/stop worked again shortly afterwards, but now also no longer. I have now arranged a new date next week, where they try again. However, there was already an invoice for the last date… I should pay the three wrong attempts all, altogether 182 Euro only for this S oftenware crap! I have to say that the software of my Sensus Connect Navi seems to be out of date… I don’t have the point with the Internet connection via WiFi hotspot over the iPhone described at Volvo for Update 2015. How are your experiences with the software updates at Volvo? What can this be about with the VoC and the Start/Stop? Greetings!

    Hello together, as new generation is coming, the vehicle fleet will be changed. I probably separate from my V70II T5, instead comes a 2010 Sharan with sliding doors for my better half. I “should” take over their Corsa D. In itself a fine car, but already a bit “female”. A 480 is also available, but I drive it only in good weather as a fun car. Therefore, my idea would be to sell the Corsa and rather create a C30 for everyday life.     Servus, I’m going to have time to get my Volvo S40 2.0D (136ps) new rims for the summer tyres. From the research here in the forum I have now decided on 17 inch rims, the question is now only which tire width. The website recommends 225/45 as tire size. However, from various forums I have that 215/45 or much better for the S40. Unfortunately I am a total beginner in this regard and wanted to ask experts here about the smarter choice here. Engine system maintenance required Since the vehicle is (almost) in possession, the error message is displayed sporadicly in the on-board computer. Sometimes a door is open open/close, and the message is no longer displayed. I’ve already read the wildest things about it but I didn’t get smart about it. Basically, I find that nothing is in the memory. The error memory has been read with VIDA several times, currently I don’t have the software anymore, but also with other Diag. nothing gets out of it.
