  • Purchase decision Volvo V70 D3

Hello professionals, because my Volvo V70 EZ 1997, 2.5L gasoline, 144PS, 365TMM unfortunately has a damage to the steering gear, I just look around for a new V70. This time it is supposed to be a diesel. Driving performance about 30,000km/year (the current V70 gasoline I had taken very cheaply from my parents and 200TMM with it – before questions come why petrolers 😉 I lost myself in the D3 with 136PS (from 5/2012) because the CO2 values is very good and I don’t need more PS actually. I drove the D2 with 114PS and found it a bit too weak. The predecessor with 136PS (2.0D) is apparently more expensive in the maintenance – I read here in the forum. Budget is up to 20,000€ – rather natural less. Did this here at the Volvo dealer discovered:http://…oechst.selekt.volvocars.de/…/D3 Edition-Pro-p5bm53w Is it a bit too risky a car with 106,000km to buy at the price less? But there is not enough for me to have the same level?

  • DPF burns free?

Moin On the other hand, I need some advice from my favorite forum. Yesterday again (after about 6 weeks of short-distance operation) I was on the highway. So at approx. 160 km/h I had about three times in a row a dropout, I could not give a gas for a second, then everything was good again. Engine was running perfectly, even the feeling that it was running minimally free. Then right at home the i Carsoft 906 made, everything ok. no mistakes. Did then take today the device again to check everything exactly. I just don’t get some messages, Sufu and Google don’t help either. For example: whirl actuator, position 43,83% whirl actuator PWM 1,16 % Commanded exhaust gas recirculation 100% AGR sensor 0% fuel pressure nominal value 327900 fuel distribution pressure 331800 AGR 100% AGR error 99,2% and quite great engine oil temp -273,14 degree C will now be able to download an update for the icarsoft, the engine oil temperature makes me agreeable. Achcho, my car is not free.

  • The eternal problem with the bumper paint…

I didn’t have to change the headlights for the first time, but I didn’t have to change the headlights for the first time. I didn’t have to change the headlights for the first time. I would be happy if you could post your experience with the problem, because I have an upcoming conversation with the Volvo sales representative and would be happy if I could give a few more examples. Would also be nice if you could share a few pictures of the gap measurement on the front headlight, explain why follows below. Now to my story: About 9 months ago I had, like many MJ13 drivers, the problem with the crashing paint on the front and rear bumper for the first time. I also had “happiness” and got both bumpers exchanged, because shortly afterwards Volvo only spent a repainting between the paint pin. About 6 months later, the black plastic came through on both sides again and it was again time for a visit to the workshop. As expected and after quite long waiting time, gave Volvo before that they only had to put a contact pin to get rid of it and my headlight.

  • Rugged driving at all speeds S80

Hello together, From the older posts I unfortunately did not get smart, I hope you can help me. I have the problem since our vacation… If I drive for example on the highway constantly the same speed, the gas goes away at once, only for a small fraction of a second. This about every 10 seconds. I switched off the air conditioning. The same applies even if I drive with the cruise control, no matter at any speed. I drive a S80 T6 BJ 2001 110000 km. Service was made recently. The only thing I noticed were the ABS messages that have been piled up lately…. (But I return to the warm weather 🙂 ) Gruss Umbro

  • Steering wheel’s crooked.

Hello guys, maybe someone already had that. I had my V70 to change wheels and in the front left the track bar was changed, the track was allegedly also set. Now I drove about: 20km and found that the steering wheel is leaning to the left, if you align it centrally, the car drives to the right. Was again with the friendly and he wants to look again after it, but also did not see a track adjustment protocol. At the V70 II you could also adjust the steering wheel, does not go with mine, did you already make an honor with it? Maybe you have a advice, not to be quite stupid about it. Thank you

  • Volvo for Life. A journey through sound

Of course, I’ve been with the XC60 (the second one already) for a long time, and I’ve always been with a very decent music system, but I’ve never presented the system here. As with the Ford S-Max times (link in the signature), I’m an enthusiastic CarAudian and CarPC user. Of course, the XC60 also had to do that. About meere upgrade stages, experiments and experiments a system has been created, which goes very unusual ways, but sounds exceptionally good, which also bears witness to various awards or good placements in German CarHifi competitions. The core of the system is a Forge Audio DSP, an 8-channel processor with outstanding acoustic properties and unique configuration options such as up to 64 parametric equalizers per channel. As a player, a CarPC can be found on a 10-base, which is conducted via a 10-inch touchscreen. The CarPC is connected directly with the processor via XMOS USB audio. The HiTON has reached the level of 4 tuning.

  • The moose shakes V70 d5

But from the beginning: vehicle is a V70d5 6GangGT Md.2009. Km 273,500 I have already spent a few kilometers with the elk and everything ran up to small problems that I could solve thanks to the forum and of course the know how of the members. Only the PDC sensor is still overdue, sure a DHL strike victim. After about 1800km with the caravan (1700Kg) that happened yesterday and again this shaking occurred as if you were driving over a washboard. Dangers speed approx. 80Km/h, different road coverings. The shaking runs through the whole car, is short in the steering and is also to be seen and stops again. Altogether so about 10 seconds. Thanks to easy steering movements it can be interrupted. Altogether about 7-8 times. Today the same route ran again without caravan, everything is quiet as always, no vibrations, nothing. Also on the caravan everything, wheel storage and brakes are pulled off. Oh yes the trailer had to be on top of it.

  • Assessment of the C30 2.0D

Hello, we have a C30 2.0D virtually left in the family. The vehicle is as far as I know, I haven’t seen the show yet, from 2008. Here is the data: C30 2.0D with 100kw/136hp 2nd hand 120.000km (pure long distance) sliding roof Xenon-piglighter hand switch of my knowledge partial leather hands-free device seat heating climate automatic The vehicle was offered to me as a replacement for our golf, which as a petroler is not necessarily the most practical car for 150km per day. What would be a realistic value when selling to a dealer, because this would be about the price I would have to pay. Thank you!

  • Minus 15°C

So, this morning it was so far, after my night shift the thermometer in my S60 greeted me with -15°C. Shortly turned on the ignition key and it went on like at +20°C. I think I finally found the right brand for me. Shortly later the thermometer even showed -17°C. I have never been so pleasant in winter. A picture of the snow chute, from yesterday evening I still hang out today. Have fun in the snow! Gruenling

  • Cost of Ipod connection

Hello* I would like to add an I-pod to end the chaos with the many CDs. Does one know what it costs to have an ordinary connection to the HU 650 installed. I have read in the previous forums that it is best to run via a USB port so that the playlist of the Ipod is visible in the radio display and can be controlled via the radio or steering wheel keys. Does one know what the installation of a good adapter costs and where it can be done best? A nice rest Sunday
