Dear Schraubengemeinde, my Volvo 850, 2,0l, 126 hp, which runs up to approx. 250 tkm, has for a long time had the following problem: – cold start in all weather conditions without problems – no problems after starting, engine runs round – if engine is switched off after approx. 3 to 15 km long drive, the engine does not ignite with a new start attempt (starter turns, engine may cause some mis-ignitions, but does not start) – after a longer waiting period (larger 25 minutes) engine starts without problems – several workshops are at ease, since problem does not occur there – were replaced there: air volume meters, spark plugs, distribution cap and runner, thermostat valve and the function of the petrol pump – if the engine has been brought back to running after this first stop, it runs without problems for hours! Since I can not make a rhyme on this behavior, I ask for your help! Thank you very much in advance!

Evening, the last threads on this topic are already loosely two years old; therefore a new one. Basically I am not a friend of motor tuning and rather leave everything org. The BSR history interests me nevertheless. What about it? In theory, one could buy a doughnut with some people and (provided that the report is correct) have the clamot registered properly. Where is the catch there? I mean, therefore I can almost not imagine that BSR sells many of these boxes – assuming that the customers manage to organize themselves. VOLVO S80 – Automatic problem !! it makes funny noises !?!? saves my Volvo
hello for the first time to all and beautiful sunny greetings from berlin so I’ve been driving a Volvo S80 with auto,atik gearbox Bj-2002 and 75 tkm otherwise tip top for a week I noticed something that when I start the engine and drive it just before it in the 2 course jump or shortly before 2000 turn around then makes a short KRRRRTTTTTRRR but without shaking or rattling it then drives quite normally and at the traffic light it is then no longer to hear, as said only when I turn off the engine and start again and then drive again shortly before it jumps in the 2 course make it this ruffled any signal lights glows nciht and other macken it also does not !! so please around some advice and tips what I can do the right to the Volvo I don’t want to thank me and hope you all a good ride mfgg

Entry into Russia
But the title fits to the topic 😉 I intend to go to Karelia with my elk in April / May during my stay in Finland (max. 1 week). Now my question to the forum: Does anyone have experience with the entry to Russia? I have already been able to find out about the ADAC, which a liability insurance must be completed at the border (about 20 EUR for 15 days). The one ADAC office in Munich says that this is, next to the D sticker, everything. But another department mentioned a customs declaration that I have to have stamped on the entry to Russia to get my elk out of Russia again. Hope despite this strange question on help from the forum. And no I am not lightly but looking for something different and original vacation. So I was e.g. in 2006 by car 1 week in Albania and met new extremely guest friendly people every day. Quality problems with the Volvo V 70 II?
Hello Volvo friends! After about 8 years with my V70 I (EZ 12/98) 140 hp diesel was quite satisfied, I got a V70 II D5 AWD with EZ 03/06 and almost 40,000 km of mileage in September 07. The car is basically really great, but annoying things that I didn’t know so far from Volvo: crackling and knarling from the area of the dashboard and the doors, ripple noises that probably come from the mounting of the driver’s seat and other unnecessary but unnecessary noises that significantly reduce the quality of the vehicle. The chassis is also quite hard tuned, that may also play a role, but of course can’t hold up as an excuse. The car still has a guarantee and I hope that these things can be eliminated, but it does somewhat cloud the good mood and satisfaction with the vehicle. XC90 Purchase decision V8 vs. 3.2
Maybe someone has interesting information for me, which makes it easier for me to make the decision: I have 2 offers that come into question for me: – V8 Executive, 02/05, 80.000km for 39.900 – 3.2 Sport, 12/06, 18,000km for 56.900 incl. Navi, GSM, standing heating, sunroof,… the prices are from the Austrian market (nova, etc.), therefore slightly higher than in Germany. nevertheless I do not understand the big difference between V8 and 3.2 completely. since I have to grip almost to the V8, because the favorable price compensates the higher maintenance costs by far. or do I look at what? what does it look like with the expected maintenance costs for the V8 in the next 4 years? I drive about 15,000km/year. are there rough repairs between 80,000 and 140,000km to expect? someone has experience with the difference in realistic petrol consumption between V8 and 3.2? I mostly drive in the rural small town area and around the big city – rather little thanks for your help.

Blower motor only works once in a while
Hello together, I am relatively new in the forum and so far silent reader. Since the summer, a Volvo v70 2.4T from 1999 calls itself my own, photos unfortunately I do not have at hand. The car has no air conditioning automatic. As the headline suggests, the Volvo has a problem with the blower. And indeed it only works once in a while, completely unpredictable. I have already found out the following things: If the blower does not run, I then expand the glove compartment and knock with the hand 2-3 times something against the engine starts to run, until it then eventually runs out again. (Measuringly until the next ignition off/on). My guess therefore, the grinding coals are quite down, especially since it is still an original Volvo blower motor, and no retrofit engine. So probably already quite old, if not even the first one. Well, what I have still observed to have: So if the fan is on stage 1 and I switch on the ignition, then the blower never runs to 99%, so it remains to me. If I do not stop the blower of the stage, then I have to think about it’s a bit more often, and then I have a bit more.

Hi people, because of the ever increasing petrol prices and the high savings that can be achieved by an LPG system, I have become increasingly louder and plan next summer the installation of an LPG system. Engine drains in idle mode
Hi, I have renewed the engine with a 850 t5. New ZKD etc. Now it is so that after installation of the engine directly drains in idle mode, if I give a bit of gas it remains on. Furthermore: – Mkl no longer glows – In the tacho almost everything except Abs and Mkl with running engine are controlled: Idle control air mass meter petrol pump relays The grey relay on the ventilation or there are on 2 red cables each 12v has another hot tip here?
