Hello guys, I’ve had a Volvo v50 year of construction 7/2005 for a few days now. It’s as far as I know a Basic Sound System. (No AUX-In and when I start it there’s no high or premium sound in the display, the top-right button is labeled “CD” and not with “mode” as with others) Now I’d like to stream music from the iPhone via Bluetooth, what do I have for myself? Mommentan gurke around with a FM transmitter, but the sound quality is not always good and I would like to have it neat.What the system can MUST: -Bluetooth Music stream from iPhone+Android devices, optional requests (NO MUST): -Freephone setup, -Navigation, -Play music from a memory card or USB stick, there’s so much on the market for the high and premium sound systems, but until now NOTHING for my cheap standard sound system Can I help you?!!!

What is the alternative to the Volvo V50?
I have to buy my first car in the near future and have hardly been interested in cars in my life so far and therefore hardly bothered with it. After looking around the first one I like the Volvo V50 DRIVe best. Since I drive a lot it should become a diesel. The V50 would have exactly the right size for me and seems to be a practical car. I also like that it consumes just 3.8 liters of fuel per 100km in the DRIVe Edition. Well, before I decide on the V50 I want to get an overview of what else there is. At first glance I did not really find something suitable. Which cars from other manufacturers would be alternatives for me, which I should still look at and which are similar to the V50 of practicality, fuel consumption and size?

V70 XC 2.5T no longer wants….
Hello, have the following problem with my wife’s vehicle, a V 70 XC 2.5T 193 Ps Mj. 98 Ez. 10.98. Vehicle ran very well until the last, no drop-outs, nothing. Now stood for 3 days, with the muzzle slightly upwards. Today I wanted to start it, but it doesn’t start at all. No matter if I give gas or still so long örgel. No engine control lamp on, no lambda on. I had it read out, no faults deposited, nothing. Spark of ignition comes clearly and powerfully to the candle, fuel pump runs audible (summates). Relais 103 fuel pump relays I have disassembled, looks like new, nothing to recognize under the magnifying glass, by unclean or broken soldering points. Currently I don’t get any fuel in the combustion room!? Someone’s idea how to proceed further? Where exactly is the engine controller sitting? Not that it got wet with the snow or so!? Hello, since the MT search and G….e could not answer my question the specialists among you can certainly answer the question. Who built the 5 cylinder 2.5l 144 hp engine for Volvo? Was it Ford,Renault,Opel no idea With the diesel engines it was VW the LT engine I drove myself in my 240er but who sponsored the petrolers? I want to work up the cylinder head in summer and change timing belts together with crankshaft ventilation housings. That’s why it interests me. Greeting Christian

850 ABS ECU
Hello, I have a 96’er 850 LW 2.5 10v. The ABS lamp lights permanently. The employee of the Bosch service, where I was to fill up the air conditioner, kindly hung his diagnostic device on it and said ABS sensor at the rear right and ABS hydraulic block were broken. But with the hydraulic block he would not believe, probably it would only be the wheel sensor. But more did not give his diagnostic device. At the friendly Volvo dealer I then had read out more. Result: ABS control unit defective. The very competent mechanic (same 1×850 and 1xV70) said that this was normal. The car dealer wants to install me a new one. Thanks to you I know: this can be repaired. At eBay someone takes 99,00 Euro and makes a good impression (www.ebay.de/itm/2813164977 What is your advice? Greeting Jens

C70 I in consideration, please ask for opinions
who has a C70 I here and can say what about the fabric roof regarding care, durability etc. Other unusual things known? electronic zigzags maybe? Automatic transmission? The basis is the 850s, where problems in the supply of spare parts are beginning to occur. I ask here, because we are thinking about C70, but do not know if Ier or IIer, see also here

New S40: I sat inside
Hi guys, on Monday I wanted to inform myself at our Volvo dealer about the S40/V50. After the seller had handed me the brochures, he asked me if I wanted to see the S40 and sit down. They actually had a black S40 with 17 flaps in the workshop. No Germany model but an import model for presentation purposes. So he looks really bully. I like it completely. Also the interior was very successful. Good materials and Ve The center console in aluminium looks great. My wife actually wanted to wait for an Audi and for the A3 Sportback. But when I put together a normal A3 and compared the price with an S40, I didn’t think of anything. The normal A3 (with 1.6 FSI, 115PS) with some extras (which the S40 partly already has as standard) costs almost as much as the S40 2.4 140PS. Now I think that the Sportback certainly costs 2000,00 more after all. Well, maybe I can use my Holde on 29.02. at the presentation yes to change.

Purchase advice V40 Petrol
Also day, I might want to buy a new or almost new V40. These seem to be offered at the moment wg the new edition s40/v40 cheaper. Since I have never had Volvo, but always only vw and audio, I would like to collect some information about the purchase advice! Does e.g. the 1.8l petrol tanker?, what things should I pay attention to? what advice do you recommend? which bezin-motor is suitable? what consumption is to be expected (country road and city, from time to time)? PDC and phone XC90 Probs
Hello together, actually I have not had any problems with my XC90 so far. However, two, perhaps not so important, details work a bit strangely. 1. PDC When inserting the R-range, the radio is not controlled by radio or CD in volume. The beeper works, but you hear it badly. 2. Phone For every call in the absence I get two messages. The first with text: “Call on mailbox…” The second shows the call date and the time, however, no further text. Who has similar problems and knows a solution. My friend is a bit perplexed.
