Hello, I have the following problem: car doesn’t always start. Sometimes when the 4th starter spins, but usually helps only wait and try again. Waiting is about 5-20 minutes. No connection to warm or cold engine found. But: when the ignition key does not turn the Lambda light, it does not work; lights it up, the car starts. If it runs, there are no problems, the engine runs like all the years before. Car: Volvo 850 with B5204T2 engine (Italyimport, 170 hp, 265,000km, car gas since km 160.000) So far tried: fuel comes with sufficient pressure from the valve at the end of the injection rail ignition (twilight lock) bridged with cable from battery to ignition plus on the ignition coil no spark, if one holds a cable to the ground from the output of the ignition coil to the ignition distributor (if he just doesn’t want to). Thanks some successful repairs to this forum (ABS sold back…), here at my first topic thus thanks to all who help one here.

8 gear automatic rough
Moin together, I need your opinion about the automatic.Drive a D4 with said automatic and have following problems or I would rather say things that I don’t like. Sometimes the automatic switches very rough, especially under load are partly noticeable blows when switching. Under low load it switches softly. When overtaking on the highway from 70 to 110-120km/h it also comes after the overtaking organhg when I take the load away to unsavory switching advances. On the highway when driving strong acceleration this shows itself the same picture. But here I have rather the feeling that the switching process lasts longer and the gear when switching is dragged (says so?) and then with a jerk in it. Hard to describe. I like the 8 gear in Eco Mode under low load. However, there is the process of coupling? after sliding is partly very rough. Especially when suddenly stronger braking there is an extra blow in the neck. Has someone from you made similar experiences. Car is now 2.5 years of wisely thanks to Volvo Plus.

Upgrade DAB to DAB+?
Hello together For the first time thanks to all forum users for the many tips you give. You helped me decide which XC70 with which equipment I should buy a lot. I have ordered a new XC70 summum in oyster grey with espresso-colored seats and aluminum applications. But will it take 2 Mt. to finally turn around with it… Now a question: I also got DAB installed and notice that it is “only” DAB and not DAB+. Can you do an update or have it retrofitted? Background is that I want to sell a V70 D4 (163 hp), Ocean Race, accident-free, 1.Hd., hourly with 127,000 km and EZ 07/2013, since mid-December. I have not received a response on my ad at mobile.de. According to Schwackebewertung, the car has a sales value of 14.300,- € and a dealer purchase price of 11.600,- €. I have advertised the car for 12.500,- € and received so far no response. I have sold more than 30 vehicles, but I have never had so little interest. Is this actually due to the discussion about the driving bans? XC70 – Massive gear damage??? 🙁
Moin, since the beginning of the year the BC message “gear maintenance required”. After transmission oil changes and countless diagnostic attempts without success the message suddenly went out. But last week Wednesday it happened now. I had just filled up with joy-raying LPG, drove from the tank and heard a short cracking from the front – no further thought, but from the cracking became a whistle and squeaking. In addition, there was a rattle and grinding (as if rubber is rubbed on metal) and I noticed that the automatic started to switch very sluggishly and the car had hardly any acceleration at 5,000 rpm and that at 200 hp…. Well, I then tormented myself with elk at home and had to be dragged to the workshop on Friday – engine was of course off. But what happened to me was a bit funny… this race, squeaking again, grinding, cracking was to be heard even when towing, but only after about 200m of completed distance and from about 30 km/h (my dad was partly dressed up with a 50 km/h).

Again a defector to XC60
After a longer test drive I have ordered the XC 60. The forum was already a great help for me when assembling, but finally convinced/changes always a test drive. Hiiilfe, control times adjusted with ZR change
Hello dear elk community. As written a few days ago, the ZR change was on my elk (B5254S), which I did yesterday, actually ran well except for the fact that there were no markings on my camshaft wheels, which is why I had made them myself. After the assembly again turned to the crankshaft to see if the markings match, everything was good! Test drive made, elk set off, everything good! Today to work, heart attack, MKL goes to, home timing belt cover jammed camshaft markings turned and, heart attack the second, crankshaft marking by a tooth moved to the right. Belts, all wheels, WaPu, damper element, so everything! My question to the special lists: can I take off the belt after I have set the markings on the camswell wheels and then put the crankshaft around a tooth on “his” marking back (against the rotation direction of the engine) and then make everything as fixed or have to pay attention to anything? To a quick answer I would be very gratefully thank you!

Stainless steel fan manifold, which one you can take, which one not?
Hy, the martyrdom with my bad exhaust gas values should finally come to an end after a lively & expensive parts exchange should be completed. In the course of this, one saw that the turbo (already again ) has cracks on the bridge (only 3 years ago or so made new), but also the exhaust gas manifold is full of cracks inside (but still goes…). Exhaust gas temperature.Feeler would not be wrong here? Now I saw in the net https://…g-in-japan-performance.de/…/ Now ask whether the plug&play fits the 3″ BSR downpipe?
