  • After oil drop replacement: engine drains off, false ignitions.

    Hello together, since today was such a nice weather I thought to myself: do times the oil trap and hoses. So said, but after assembly the engine starts directly the first time, but is immediately drunk. Also all further start attempts were in vain. If I give a lot of gas it stays on, but stutters and bangs (probably false ignitions…). As soon as I go off the gas, it sucks again and stinks to fuel. I checked so far: 1) Fuel and pressure on the rail are there, because if I press the valve (near the gas train) comes immediately fuel. 2) Ignition plugs are all mad and at least two (cylinders 3 and 4) are wet, so full of gasoline. 3) From the + pole of the battery has solved a cable, which goes down to the starter. Habs again, but did not bring any change. 4) Battery jammed and pole have to each other yet again. Bracht however also nix. 5) As long as I keep the engine running with “power” the MKL. So did NOT. I tipped to the battery.

    Hello, yesterday it also caught me and believed me or not on Sunday I was still sitting in the Volvo and was glad that never a little bit of a noise indicated. My good guy has 269875 km down. Continued in the text, I stopped on Tuesday briefly at the tailor and 2 min. later, engine on and Zack the LAMBDALEUCHTE. I immediately bad mood off home and jammed battery. 1 hour later battery ran, engine on and light on. Since I have already read here and in another Volvoforum much about this MKL and their possible errors I was served. Since I had no bug to exchange a thousand parts and in the end did not reach anything, I drove to my free Volvo dealer on Wednesday. To him briefly explained what’s going on. Car turned off and 4 hours later my phone rang, “Auto finished, can be picked up.” My baby immediately fetched and 319€ changed time to the owner. Caputt was only my Lambdasonde! The lamp arrived without warning and also did not show any of my Volvo’s last fault. But I did not get a minimum of time in July.

  • 8 weeks m S60 D5 185PS problems

    8 weeks m. S60 D5 185PS – Problems Moin, I would like to describe my experiences with the S60 D5 (185 hp) in the following time. I drive the car since the 30.06.2005. The following problems occurred up to the cheerful days: 1. Steering wheel was wrong at delivery. The s was fixed by the dealer immediately. 2. When starting (whether forward or backward) was a cracking to hear. This came according to the FH from a warehouse. Also this was fixed at the first workshop visit. 3. The bad NAVI TMC problems. Were fixed by playing up the updates (as far as I could test it). 4. Foam looked down from the engine room. Also this was fixed at the second workshop date. 5. The turbo hose slipped at 4300 KM. The car was only 80-100 KmH fast. Duration 3 days! 6. The nervousest at all: Wind noise at the B-pillar on the driver’s side. The dealer has already done 2 attempts to eliminate this, but can’t find anything else for me. If I’ve had to do something else.

  • Disable DSTC

    Hi guys! Ask a question. Does anyone know how to turn off the DSTC completely? If you shut it off by a button, it’s not completely off, but only the threshold from which it is regulated is higher. I want to have the part completely off. I don’t want to start a discussion here about meaning and nonsense of DSTC. Just know how to turn it off completely. Can you possibly also do this via the software? Thank you in advance!   • Kaufberatung V70 bifuel

    Dear forum members, since I would like to drive my convertible C70 for a long time, I want to spare it for the winter. Think of a Bifuel V70, which was offered to me as a demonstration car. I have now heard many negative comments about the vehicle in my research here in the forums and am not sure if the defects refer only to older years of construction. Have the car tested a weekend, also gas fuelled and am very satisfied. Who of you has experience with the current Bifuel? I am very grateful for every hint!! Paul

  • XC 90 V8 executive….

    In front of the front door for the test drive. More precisely: XC 90 V8, exec., 7-seater, saphirschwarz First impression: the pure mjölnir or hammer! Unfortunately, you don’t hear much about the blubbering. On leisurely driving one hears of the V8 nothing at all, while giving a gentle gas a quiet gushing and during the kickdown an animal roar. To the ambience I can not say too much, is identical to my own. The new 6-speed automatic is excellent. It speaks much faster and switches, as one could not do better by hand. No comparison to the normal Schwabbeltronic. The chassis is tighter than in the normal XC90, but not uncomfortable. With the new Haldex was so far no difference on the roads well cleared at the time. I am about 100 km on federal roads and inner city on the road – consumption 15.6 L according to BC. Conclusion: A fantastic car with no power at the end. With the kickdown, the Lend turn is completely on. For this car you should not have to drive more expensive than a car.

  • What tires?

    Hello, which summer tires, in size 225/45ZR17 are best? for 2 pieces my father paid with a dealer almost 450€. (inclusive balancing etc…) I mean, tires are already much cheaper, these were also michelin, as far as I know. nevertheless they should be good, because the car is often driven out and so … so cheap matures come in no case in question, but sometimes even the somewhat cheaper matures are better, than the expensive michelin. so, what recommendation would you have??? nice would be brand and exactly article number, so that I can ask on site at the tyre dealer sometimes, if he can get the etc.!?     Is there anything new about the orderability of the front parking aid? I found the HERE, but only from “W0446” (whatever that means), without prices and only in connection with these “glorious” bumper bars: “”Bumper rods give the mark a decorative and appealing frame. With their paintwork in silver metallic they fit harmoniously into the exterior design.”- especially with all non-silver metallic XC90s… Do you then only get two sensors in the middle (or four as in the back)?
