Hello Did I buy the following parts for my 850 TDI on the 5th of October 2010 via the Internet (Ebay). Crossbars, coupling rods and trackbar heads. On the 1st of April 2011 I was called by my madam, who had “broken off” a wheel. Cause: The supplied screw was simply nibbled through in the short time ( 10th of 2010 – 4th of 2011) by bolts of the crossbar (triangle handlebar). See picture 3 After expansion I put in total strong corrosion on both screws (the other side was also already knabbert). Likewise, the bolt of the triangle handlebar was already strongly corroded. As a comparison I have photographed another bolt ( picture 1 ), which is already for years (!!!!) the weather law. Picture 2 shows the installed bolt after only half a year. I have already written to the suppliers… one would like to return the parts so that I can provide replacement for myself……a new screw?? and who replaces the torn out drive shaft, would only have been able to make the damage?

Turbo whistles
N’Evening I replaced the open air filter with the normal one last weekend. With the open air filter one hears the intake duct extremely well. But now I noticed with the normal air filter that I hear the turbo from 2200 u/min. The turbo whistles when it is at the druecken. Unfortunately I can’t remember if this is normal or not. Can it be that the turbo has a leak somewhere? I also noticed that the loader has an oiled bit. Can this also be due to it? (I doubt it, but don’t ask a problem) I have the 3 dunen loops, which go to the small distributor at the air filter box almost 1 year ago. I don’t think it should lie there.

Too high temperatru at the XC 70 with trolley
Good day together I’d be very grateful if someone could help me with my problem. I’ve had an XC70 Jg. 2003 for 2 months with 40,000Km. Two weeks ago I went on vacation with the car and my trailer (1200kg). I drove quickly over a pass that was quite long (passenger ride about 1 hour). After about 3⁄4 hours the warning triangle turned yellow with the message “Check transmission”. About 10 minutes later the automatic transmission turned off and also the Geartronic did not work anymore (i.e. I could no longer manually switch). At the automatic transmission the engine was apparently not cooled down again and the machine works again. Then the warning triangle turned red with the message “Check transmissions” lighted up. Then I parked the car and called the breakdown aid. When this arrived the engine was apparently not cooled again and the machine works again. Just the yellow warning triangle lighted up with the message “Check transmissions” lighted up. Then the breakdown broke my car service then. Now the engine update was burned up and the engine changed again.

Volvo in general or XC 90 leather smell
Dear community, since I have been the proud owner of an XC90 D5 BJ 2004 for 2 days now, I notice the very strict leather smell in the interior. I have the dark leather, is this smell leather specific or with all the leather types used at Volvo (or XC 90) so strong. Does anyone already have experience how to remove this smell to complement or at least something “enchanted”??

V90/S90 from 2023 – Info
I am a great lover of the V90/S90 elegance and of course I am already extremely excited about how it will continue in the future – with the first pictures of the XC90 successor I can not get really warm. The car newspaper reported yesterday (11.04.) about possible successors of the V/S series. Also in need of getting used to, if you can believe the picture (you can?), but nevertheless succeeded, as I mean.

V50 MY 2008 Washers not heated?
Hello together, with the quite kernely tempera doors currently in Cologne (nightly -16°) I noticed that from about 8 degrees minus my windscreen wash nozzles freeze, also at the back. Frost protection is more than sufficient in and the medium is pumped through the pipes. Nevertheless nothing works. If the nozzles are not heated / there is or there was the aje as an option to order, find nothing in the list. What does this look like with you? Greetings from Cologne, Daniel

Purchase advice Volvo V60 AWD D4 Cross Country Momentum from 2017
Hello, with a Ford dealer around the corner there is a Volvo V60 AWD D4 Cross Country Momentum from 2017. engine capacity 2.400 cm3 kilometers 56,322 km fuel diesel first registration 2017 type combi, 0-door power 140 kW (190 hp) transmission automatic Price: almost 25T€ I don’t know now about the equipment packages of Volvo. In addition, it has heating and AHK. It is almost like new at the dealer. What do you think of the V60? Are there any special flaws or upcoming service obligations with the V60? Does it actually have a steering chain or timing belt? I come from a Honda Accord 2,2Diesel from 2006, which I now have to deliver with more than 370Tkm. I am currently looking for a successor as family coach for around 20T€, which has a potential for at least 8 years or 200-250Tkm. Unfortunately, combos in the segment are really scarce.

What coolant?
Good evening together, possibly an unnecessary thread, but I don’t get smart from the operating instructions. I got a hint today for the first time “Motor coolant low, safe stop”. Always give or brake on gas … I opened the moose at the front and see, actually, the coolant ksite is at the minimum. I was only 4tkm during the inspection, either the dealer or my moose loses the stuff – do the other also? But now to the actual question – what medium do I fill up? In the instructions stand only “One recommended by Volvo … and that to 50/50 with water”. Or just a little bit of water? Questions about questions
