Hello C40 Single Motor Friends it would be great if your experiences – as soon as someone got one would be posted. But also everything around the car. How are your delivery times, what says the friendly or tips for newcomers in terms of E-Volvo. I ordered myself a week ago the C40 Single in Thunder Grey with the new reduced Ultimate equipment. Unfortunately only without black roof. In addition the winter package, the textile/microtech seats and darkened side windows. The hi In addition, there is the Recharge insurance for 1260€. I come from the XC60 and am very curious if it is the right step. The wallbox hangs with me already on the pitch. When travelling longer it has to be loaded 3 times. What bothers me is the really lean equipment and that I have to do without some beloved things from my XC60. For a price beyond the 60K it could also have been Volvo But I also know the other manufacturer at this point are qualitatively far behind Volvo. In any case, the C40 is a real Volvo which you can’t necessarily say at Audi ) What do you think and have you already done a test drive? I just sat in it and looked at it from the outside and that was kind of love at first sight. Many will find it terrible but I like it )

Oil pressure problem
Hello everyone, I hope someone can help me here…. I sold my faithful 850 2.5 20 V and now I get a V 70 II 2.4 with 170 HP and hope it wasn’t a mistake. He has a few problems where the biggest oil pressure is. With a cold machine everything is ok, as soon as the oil gets warm the valves clapping from about 2200 rpm. If I take some gas away, the valve drive calms down. But as soon as I give gas again, the clapping will be louder. From A to B….. under 2000 rpm. Alerdings I was yesterday on the highway and a little faster ( 140-150 km/h ) with once the valves were quite loud and I slowly took away gas, then came the message : No oil pressure engine shut off. I did so too and waited about 10 minutes. After that I drove slowly and the message did not come any more. There were no mechanical noises except the valves very quiet. So today oil and filter changed….The oil was dark and The filter had set its task long ago. In the lid of the filter I found mud and metal abrasion. The oil trap also siffs a little. I cleaned the solenoid valve as far as possible. Everything reassembled and test drive….. On the highway again the message. No oil pressure engine shut down and previously loud clapping the valves What can it be? Exitus or half as bad??? For tips or concrete tips. I’m grateful… Oh yes..it doesn’t work that right in comparison to my old 850……….despite the same engine power mfg

Noise determination Aggregates
Hello you dear Volvo connoisseurs! When I start the engine a few short grind, quick, jaul sounds from under the bonnet, stop like when a ball bearing slowly gives up the mind (I think). That stops after a short time and then remains calm. I assume, however, that will occur more and more often and therefore I would counteract early. I strongly assume it is the LM, servo pump or the belt tensioner. LM & servo pump are still original, belt tensioner sometimes made new at 130T km. Now about 340Tkm are on the clock and the V70 is 24 years old. From me everything can come slowly. Has kept for ever. But sometimes theoretically and possibly even practical, can one determine by the sound from where it comes from? I have the wedge belt quickly down. Thus a one after another exchange is also not super expensive. Thanks for your opinions! Ohso, is Ridex also Ok to take or better Bosch and similar. Is just a bit more expensive. Maybe I am also on the wood and it is something completely different. Better ask the connoisseurs. Dear greeting Mario

Volvo 850 2.5L petrol, engine no longer running
Moin, moin I have a problem with my Volvo, this find every now and then to jerk, no longer took on gas and then went out some times when he did not catch himself anymore. After about 1min standing he ran again quite normal as if there were nothing. Now I confessed from work to go home and on the highway with 120 kmh he went out without warning and since then no more. If I try to start the car again, only the starter runs over. Volvo 850. 2.5L 170Ps. 1992Bj 165,000 Km. Vllt. do you have an idea what it might be, can I find out otherwise if I have a piston eater or something? Greetings

Hall grills 2024 – as always, only different 😉
Moin together, some Volvisti have written to me whether there is no hall grill in 2024… Answer – eähmmm, no, is there not Whaaat ?? It is simply too much to do at present… House construction Young people Company New Job Therefore I don’t have time to organize such an event. Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa is a new event. From 2025 onwards, the hall grilling is continued in old tradition – only in October, but in spring. So to say, as a season. It has turned out over the years, the climate change always makes a meeting in October a lottery game, while in March, April, June there was always good weather. Until then always good driving and comes all heal over the winter! Markushttp://aelg-garage-bargstedt.de/

Voice control
I noticed some inconsistencies in the voice control. For example, a list of possible (voice) commands is displayed if you don’t understand the system. For example, you can read it as a possible command: [Maria Meier] call But that doesn’t work. It works the other way around, so call [Maria Meier], but not with all entries in the phone book. In the user manual – so that the confusion becomes complete – then the syntax: call [Maria Meier] [ Number category]. What does not work is the operation of the radio/media, e.g. games[Interpret] creates a confused list of titles (e.g. from the connected iPhone), which have nothing to do with the interpreter. I could continue the list now with some examples e.g. from the operation of the air conditioning system (you can only increase the temperature, lower does not work), but spare me that. The whole thing makes me the impression of a beta version….and learn to vocabulary. I don’t feel like it. What are your experiences? Maybe the Swedes tank doesn’t like a Baden accent.

So, new moose on board…
Well, the Gaston hit today. We have a new rear-driver among us. I just made the purchase announcement, tomorrow or the day after tomorrow we picked it up. 745 Business Edition of 8/91, B200F, M47, 323,000km, white, stainless steel, TÜV 3/15, KI of the 940s (everything works), removable AHK, central locking, E-windows front, roof rack, 8x matured, summer almost new Contis, CD radio, dog grid, new shock absorber 2011, new clutch 2012, ZR & WaPu 2012, renewed, Euro 2. Floors for 1000 Euro. OK, he has 2 small defects: Viscolfäfter always runs along and the roof sky hangs down. Sounds in principle solvable. But my goodness, he is already lame. On the other hand, my 90hp pass is almost a racing car… Anyway, the one here is…http://kleinanzeigen.ebay.de/…/185509385-216-1544?ref=search

In search of the perfect 745…
Hello, dear Hecktriebler-Fraktion, I have planned a big one: I want a 745. It’s best yesterday. So far, so bad, because the offer is much thinner than I expected. In all D, only a handful is offered, most of them as 2.3 and 2.0 suction cups. Which is not so bad, because that would be the engines of my choice anyway. Turbo, diesel and PRV at the 760 exit. Optimal would be one with mild lifting from 1989 (as far as I know), which with the 940 front has to be nich I don’t really need one with an oil quill transmission either… I know this question was probably asked billion times here, but I would have liked to have put it straight to the point: 2.0 or 2.3? And why is the durability of both of them no problem, but what interests me is the following: the 2-Lit The 115hp from the same engine capacity have helped my passats to more than practical driving performance. Torque-wise 2hp will be more from over 300ccm (well, I’m back at 740) in addition probably be clearly noticeable, isn’t it? The 2.3 l should be a very comfortable unit to drive, and not really higher than the 2 l in terms of consumption. or is the B200 even more economical? Thank you for your patience…

245 sound/stop points rear axle or wheel bearing
Hello everyone, I have been in possession since last week of a Volvo 245 year 1993, which I brought with me from Sweden. It is a “240 Classic”, i.e. from the very last series of 200 (or 240?) pieces, which were numbered individually at the time, with certificate of authenticity from the factory and badge on the dashboard. Mine has the no. 46, so is the 46-letz-built of all 200s. My experience with this vehicle type is so far rather small, so I hope that someone from The visit to the TÜV resulted in some minor defects, nothing serious, to fix everything really well. Among other things, the rear brake discs are strongly corroded, so that I first dismantled everything. So the brake calipers and the brake discs. Also so far well, the discs have quickly “must be persuaded” by a 5 kg hammer to leave your original seat. The problem now is that when turning the wheel hub (left or right) reg When the motor with inserted gear is running, it is not noticeable to hear. Is this so normal? Can a locking differential be installed here? Or have the wheel bearings been destroyed when the brake discs were removed? The effect is exactly the same on the left and right. I transferred the car to Germany on my own axle last week, it was so normal. Thanks very much al for your support! //Jörg
