  • Oil consumption

  • Air conditioning defective / UV light / perplexed

    Well, I’m not at a loss yet, but something “nervous”….. Last year my climate broke. Diagnosis in the workshop, vaporizer defective…..In August 2015 the evaporator was changed….Thanks again to Berlin…. This season the plant was then broken again.     Dear forum members! I plan to buy an XC70 D5 AWD Geartronik BJ 2009. He has already managed almost 270,000 km and I wonder if you can buy such an elk. He is service-kept, a detailed repair history of the Volvo workshop is available to me. I am rather a little driver. I only come to approx. 10,000 km per year. In 10 years I am then at 370,000 km and then it is a more typical running performance for a VOLVO, right? I already have a 25-year-old VW T3 with very little km. But I still have to repair something again. I just like this car. I know that I have to reckon with the one or the other repair. But the car still costs 15,000,- and a total failure or engine damage would be fatal of course. Should I rather spend 5000,- more and buy one with less running power? Since I would buy the vehicle from a Volvo dealer and thus I also have warranty, the short-term risk keeps in limits. But in 12 months the least I don’t have a kilo?

    Hello, drive a v70 2 year 2001, with 2.4L 200hp and geartronics. Kilometers currently 105000Km. Have read a lot about chip tuning here. Fa. Heico etc. is not sure if I buy chip tuning or rather a tuning box. Now my question: Does one of you already have experience with Lexmaul tuning boxes?   • when did your heating break down ??

    hello together, how long did your stand-up heating last until it had a defective one for the first time and how often did you use it to date ?? i have bought a used V70II since juli 2009 (at that time 111,000 km) and always use the heating for the first motor start as soon as it gets cold, like now. previous owner had no unlocking of the SH. middle of the year I had a total failure of the SH, everything was completely renewed, cost: 600,-€ alex

  • Original navigating?

    I swarm between two V70 D5 Momentum (185hp) with approx. 100000km. The one comes originally from Sweden and has auxiliary heating and detachable AHK the other although no auxiliary heating and AHK but the big Navi. The first costs € 14500 and the other € 15000 (with new tires + 1 set of sucked winter tires on steel rim). The first V70 from Sweden is super well maintained… the other good but not quite as good as the other. Are both leasing back runners. I want to drive the car so about 2 – 3 years and then sell again. I think therefore also after what would be better for a later sale. Is the Navi only an expensive player’s work (I have a TomTom otherwise) or do the people stand on it when selling… Does anyone have any advice / tip ? Thank you.

  • Volvo S60 D5 Problems with injectors

    Dear Volvo friends, my Volvo S60 (BJ. 09/2003, 180,000 KM) is slowly driving me crazy. The problems started with light vibrations on the steering wheel in the speed range 1400-1700 u/min. especially under load and cold condition. After about 1 month it was clearly audible that the engine does not work properly – in idle run it nails, in the lower speed range it is powerless and swallowed itself. The moose father found that 4 of the 5 injectors do not have to work properly and be replaced – measured values of 5,7-30 mm3, (reference value max. 3 mm3), only one was still fully functional. The best thing was to replace all 5 – cost point 2000€!!! Meanwhile 4 of 5 injectors have already been replaced (at Bosch, all general overhauled), but the problems have remained the same. What do I do? I don’t know any more! If I had stayed right with the Volvo. What does the professional community say? Need reasonable and useful suggestions.
