Hi guys.. I’ve already taken your help, with the seat heater, and that worked really well..!!! It’s about the same car again, 850 Bj.93.. I clean up the almost completely.. Tooth-rhyme, brakes all around and everything that belongs to it, including a nice polish, as it is red.. tomorrow he gets 2 front wheel bearings, because I used the search function and that also runs… But, there are still 2 problems, 1. the ABS funst as it likes, I would be grateful about information, with photo would be full of horn where, what needs to be soldered again… the control unit is what stands perpendicular to the main brake cylinder or??? is the engine control unit…? Well, if you can help me there I would be as always thankable..!!! Then there is still a problem.. sometimes he just goes out.. 10-30s wait and he runs again… I have already made the cold running controller, but it really helped me that is not known. something else.? “Afterdiesel” 850 2.5 10V 1996
Hello! My 850 2.5 10V BJ 1996 160tkm has been “dieseling” for some time. This means that if I switch off the car and set the ignition key to zero, the engine is still running a little bit after. This happens about every third time. My friend said “diesel” so far spark plugs and ignition cables have been exchanged. This however not with the desired success. That is a little better it has become. Asks itself only how long. Thank you for a tip

Hello Elchdriver, search for description or instructions for the timing belt change V 70 I Tdi. Does anyone have a description or instruction (tooth belt change) that He could let me come to??? M. f. G. Wolfgang

Help at 850 T5 speed up with jerking
Hello! yesterday I bought a 95er 850 T5 automatic. I noticed right at the pick-up already that he runs quite normal with quarter gas but only up to 3000u/min everything that goes on he starts to jerk and when I latch on the kick down then it feels like he wants to switch the whole time again into the kick down although he already has it in use anyway. Today I also read in the description how the display of the turbo pointer should spark but the stands in the middle and does not move! Tubes I found however no loose ones? Today I read out the following codes: Box A socket 1: 311 socket 2: 232, 231, 314 socket 3: 444, 141, 142 socket 7: 113 Have the errors once Googleled and found out that the Lambda, the camshaft sensor and the speed sensor must be from the transmission? Do I lie right there or have someone already had something like that or know how to help? Nockshaft sensor I got worried now but he will only be able to put on the load on me next week but Alex would like to know what to do with the full load on Wednesday with me

SH from Venlo is crazy?
Hello everyone! As announced in some other Threat, I was in Venlo on Monday and had the SH of my D5 “refitting” there. By the way, it worked great. The friendly Dutchman did not have my desired appointment ready by fax, but nevertheless my D5 came right into the workshop and a coffee incl. a nice chat with the German-speaking friend there was free of charge. All in all very recommendable. Must my previous opinion about heaters revise: horny thing the Since yesterday however seems to occur a problem with the control software. Give in on the evening my desired departure time (at night e.g. 8:30) and the next morning the SH also runs at 8:40. Even if I then start the engine, it does not go out. I then have to manually place the SH via the BC. Does anyone have a plan that could hide behind it? Thanks and greetings from Stefan, who counts from immediately to the genus of warm showerers and SH-users.

Can’t decide
Moin, I got my 18″ medusa rims back from the sandblasting, did the fine work before, and now I’m standing there… I just can’t decide in what color I should paint the rims! Black I find also quite nice, but then my cart is up to the outside mirror COMPLETE black, looks kind of boring also I think. Otherwise I still had chrome in mind, but don’t know if that might be too crass already.. Normal aluminium silver is never wrong – but has just everyone… just feel like a woman in the shoe shop Do you have maybe n pair of ideas, or maybe even pictures of your or other painted cars where you can look at something? Wouldn’t be great! Greetings in the appendix times a picture of my box (cool grill now also black)

Cooler fan always runs “on” with air conditioning. Normal???
Hello! I would like to gather experiences about the Volvo V50 2.0 D. Here’s my current question: Is it normal for the Volvo V50 2.0 D to have the cooler fan immediately running at the current low temperatures around 10 degrees when the engine starts cold in the morning and the air conditioning is switched on? If the air conditioning is not working, the cooler fan will stop. I would be interested to know if this is also the case with you. Or whether the cooler fan will switch on later at engine operating temperature or only under certain driving conditions such as full speed on the highway. I ask this because the fan on my car is absolutely always turning as soon as I switch on the air conditioning. Even if it is cold outside and the cooling water is still cold. Even when driving quietly over land road at 100 speed in the highest gear, the cooler fan is spinning despite (my opinion) sufficient cooling by driving wind. Does anyone know the problem? Is this a problem? If someone had the problem, what was repaired on the vehicle?

Tyre noise (saw tooth effect) at V50
According to my tyre dealer, I have a sawtooth effect on Continental Premium Contact 5 (205/55/R16) summer tires. Have these now mounted the second summer and now the noises. We have changed the tires from the rear to the front, the noises have been slightly lower, are still present. Had the same already with Goodyear Optigrip 91. I thought that with the new summer tires I am rid of the problem. With winter tires (same size) the noise does not occur. Can it possibly also lie at the wheel bearings? If someone has an idea / answer, I would be grateful. These sounds are annoying already… Or is it generally on the vehicle?

Tack, Tack and my trouble sends greetings
Hello dear Volvo friends, it’s enough for me now! Now I have only 3,700 km on the speedometer and come for the 4th time not from the spot!!! I was 3 times in the workshop because of the well-known “tack” problem when starting. Starters have been changed, cables have been checked, electronics checked. And now I’m standing again and I don’t get the engine to run!!! In my opinion this is pretty slowly unacceptable, I’ve been about all 3 weeks in the factory and the problem comes up again and again. a car is still there to drive, or am I wrong?! I don’t want to say here that the S40 is a bad car, by no means, but MEIN S40 has clearly serious problems! Does jmd have an idea what I could have left of my still changing so that I can finally start my car without worry in the early morning and can also make a quiet trip abroad? lg dominik

More consumption by Super+ ?
Hi, I recently had the fun of testing the maximum range with a tank filling. Extremely economical driving, no short distances, no high motorway speed. Result was 960km and a consumption of 7.2l after BC (7.26l after tank receipt). I had super95. With the Ergeiz, once to crack the 1000km I then filled the V-Power, in the hope to push the consumption still around the missing 0.2l. That the lower consumption does not weigh up the extra price, was already clear to me, but since the engine is actually designed for Super+, I thought it should bring it a little bit. However, after the first 200km the BC already showed an average, which was 0.5l above that of the previous tank filling. Can this be that the engine with Super+ consumes more? Ride otherwise for 9 months only super. The only other explanation, would be the colder weather, i.e. the engine gets warm later, the air pressure goes down perhaps by 0.05bar. But then the air speed has to do the same, but then the radio has to do the same thing.
