I don’t know if my heater just works super quietly or if I’m deaf or if the following consideration is possible at all: Because of a defective heater I was at Volvo and had the error fixed. Heating now also works 1A. However, I have the feeling that the part does not work as a heater at cold temperatures. At least I don’t hear anything there. In the V70 of my parents, the heater also runs after a few seconds (at least I imagine that this is the heater). Is this technically possible at all?

Vibration from speed 85 – what else to do?
Dear Volvo-Bande, my fat guy is worried about me. For some time now, a speed-dependent vibration of the entire car appears from Tempo 85. In long-drawn left curves much stronger than when driving straight or in right curves. From 110 it is hard to feel, but probably only because the vibrations are then so fast…. Wheels are balanced again, rims have no impact. The usual suspects (coupling bars, carrying joints) are checked, brake discs and pads as well as lateral handlebars at the front (which had to be after 350 tkm anyway) are replaced. I would have now suspected the right drive shaft… Do you have any other starting points? Auxiliary frame suspension, rear wheel suspension/crossbars? Please have understanding if I can not react quickly to all the answers. Unfortunately, my job does not allow me to do so. Already thanks for your support.

Hello dear XC90 driver We, a family with two children, 2 and 4 years old, drive V70 Bj2002 and with two child seats is the rear bench for an adult between the child seats too narrow. Therefore my request to the XC90 drivers until bj 2014: How far are the inner Isofix hills away from each other? Can someone please measure that for me? It would help us very much! Kickdown switch…..for what?
Hello, of course I know what a kick-down switch has for tasks…….but I don’t need it for my S80, because mine is already switching down 2 gears at 3/4 gas……and that’s pretty annoying.It’s not possible to accelerate full throttle from the village in the 3rd gear.Just when it’s still cold, you always have to be careful that you don’t give too much gas.Is that normal????Do you have that too????

Curvature conservation S60
Hello, wanted to ask you something about cavity conservation – but first of all to me – I have a 2 year old Volvo S60 2,4D with now 75,000km on it – was already active in this forum earlier – but unfortunately I have obviously changed the password – and the email is no longer correct (old name was joeJAI). I am very satisfied with the car – and had no major problems up to now (your accident – Delle in the door/coating wing). However, I am extremely careful with the car. Now my question: Have you already had a cavity conservation done? Does one of you know if they can seal the doors inside (because of the glass pane/mechanics etc.)? Will the disc be expanded – or do they only flood the lower area of the door? My car has no rust problems and it also comes out with the doors good fat – but as I said extremely loud driving with the car and it can only help – I have already informed myself about the various possibilities – but only with regard to the materials used. V 70II Power socket to activate luggage compartment!?
Hello, about the SuFu I have already found out that for the activation of the pre-set cable 1. the fuse and 2. the component 9442190 is necessary. Unfortunately the mentioned links to the installation instructions of Volvo dead-end lanes, the pages are no longer displayed. So, now the question: What is this for a component and where does it come in? Can you possibly bridge this? On the display by means of the on-board computer it does not matter to me, the connection is only “consciously” used under supervision. I would like to install to the right instead of the cigarette lighter socket two 4mm sockets for my model construction charger and would like to use the pre-installation e.g. fuse and cables. too high fuel consumption V70 T5 II
Hello, since I took out the two fuses to erase errors from the control unit overnight a month ago, my Volvo consumes a lot more than before, around the 15l/100km now and before 13l/100km. Problems with auxiliary heating – repair possible?
Hello, I’ve had a problem with my heater since last winter. Every time you’re running, a background noise develops, comparable to a 50cc moped at the speed stop! It’s megalaut! So I went to the workshop and presented it. As I’m used to by Volvo, you don’t want to stay there for long with analyses, but to replace the whole heater! But the function is not affected in any way. Does anyone know the problem? Can’t I have the heater repaired somewhere else (vlt with the manufacturer of SH? Webasto or so)? I’m grateful for any help. Volvo V70 P26 D5 (185PS) Automatic TF-80SC switches from 3th to 2nd gear
Hello dear Volvo driver, a friend of mine has a V70 P26 D5 with 6 steps automatic (TF-80-SC) model year 2006 currently 207,000km and has the following problem: – For example, if you want to turn inside with the car at a junction, go on the brake and stay on it and then the gearbox switches down the driving steps, you notice a (double) jerk through the driveline and the whole car. It feels like an invisible rear driver has driven into the rear. At normal, as well as at the heart speedy speed the automatic switches very unobtrusively and without jerking. – Resetting this jerking in the driveline in which you use the manual switching function and even from the third drive stage to the second switch. All other driving stages are high-turning and switch-down unobtrusively – My gear ratio is supposed to be very low – but the same thing is found for a second time when switching down here is only if you have experienced a lightly on the dialling of the gas pedal.
