Volvo V70 rear bumper drops off…?
Hi, it’s good day! I’m here with this entry (hope is placed correctly) from the given occasion. I’m sorry, but I’m sorry, but I don’t really have the deep technical understanding; nevertheless, I’m trying to do small repairs on my own, at least to try this one, but to have always understood where the problem lies. The bumper is still attached to the wheel box on both sides, but then it’s much bigger. So also the bumper in the rear area is shifted about 20 mm to the bottom and back. On both sides almost the same order. Well, I don’t know if I should drive with it, starting at the wheel box, but it’s not possible to correct it.

Activation of the alarm system via software update possible?
Hello Volvo friends, I have learned that all models of the Volvo V70 II are equipped with an alarm system according to the factory. The alarm system can be activated afterwards by software update, right? I have model year 2004. Where can I get this update at a reasonable price? in Holland? (just as it is reasonably priced with the heater in Holland?)

Hello, we are recently proud owners of a V90 from 1997. The vehicle is actually great in shot, only a few small things should be directed. Since we are not a gifted screwdriver, we have turned to the next Volvo representative. To our great surprise they told us that the service for “so old vehicles(!)” can only be made limited, and you could not order spare parts for it. With the hint to get the parts at SKANDIX, we were sent away again. Therefore my question in the round: Where are we welcome with our V90 (960) for maintenance? I look forward to all tips concerning the Rhine-Main area, or everything around 80km from Offenbach. Best regards and already thanks for your inputs!

Good day together, I wanted to get all-year tires to avoid several tire sets and save a bit of money. That’s why I read all-year tire tests, then I found a few good tires. Now to my problem all the tires that did well were not in my tire size (185/70/14), which is the closest answer is 185/65/14. Power drop and drop-off
Dear VOLVO friends, although I’ve been falling for the 940 for a long time, I’m new here in the forum and hope for your advice. — I bought a very well-kept combination, built in 1996 again with 135 hp in the turbo version with currently 308,000 I had a new Prins gas system installed, which also works without any problems. Unfortunately, I have the following problems. After about two to three hours of highway with an average 130/140, the control light started to light up on the left which indicates a problem with the Lambda probe ? or ? Then a noticeable power drop especially on the mountain – it fell back to 100, on a straight track I was able to speed it up again but at 140 was over and it didn’t accelerate any more – I drive the car with a maximum 130 and 150 in the top – in the gas operation the performance loss is a little more, with gasoline he drives minimally better. I replaced the fuse 1 at the gas station — there was the check again. It is also striking that as soon as he gets a little undertoury – he jerks and has a drop. Has someone an idea of you and can help me for your answers?

Good Tach too, I’m a Newbie in this circle and greet all Volvo drivers! S 60 R – buy again
Hello dear forum, I am always more enthusiastic about the active activity in this forum. At the moment I only read with – but since I plan the purchase of an S60 R, I hope to be at the side soon also with advice and action. I still have one question: Do you know a source on the Internet in which the S 60 R in black is shown with beige or in silver with blue interior equipment ? Both cars were offered to me and I doubt which one it should become final. Every tip is helpful – the original brochure does not do so much therefore.

My navigator’s down
In the last week my Navi had moved me! At first my Navi only showed a displacement of approx. 100 m (at <-> = 100 m), at last it moved permanently on the airfield Münsterä-Osnabrück, when it was with me in the garage, although that of me is approx. 150 km away. Although not tragic, since at the moment there are no big drives, but annoying. Then the description of the Hidden-Menues in the RTI, and on Saturday I sat down with it and see: I was able to rearrange and adjust my Navi! For me as a non-technician already something really great! Anyway: now it works again, apparently also stable, since I have been on normal roads again and not on the airfield. Has someone ever had to do with such a “disorientation” and adjustment, or is it here a (dramatic?) drop-out? In any case: well that there is mt!

Ask the Mod`s: how is the Volvo Forum organized when the XC60 comes?
Hello Volvianer, hello moderators, in the autumn comes the XC60. When does a subforum exist ? All XC`s come into ONE forum (makes me think) or are XC90 and XC60 in separate forums ? Or how should this be organized in the future ? There would be the following variants : 1) all XC`s no matter which model, which year of construction, in ONE forum 2) only the newer ones from 2007 in ONE forum 3) for all XC no matter which year of construction A main forum, in it subforums for the individual models (as with BMW X series) 4) still platform-dependent forums (PKW,KOMBIs and XCs of the same platform come into the same forum), would mean that today’s XC90ers are in other forums than the coming from 2009. And the XC60ers anyway in other forums (beim V50 or at V70 or somewhere else ???) Maybe a mod already has an idea or sometimes a survey ? Also the Mercedes GLK is coming in the autumn, there were the more Mod`s on forum and have already set up for the same thing.
