moin also, drive with undercalculations for 15 years Volvo 850 /V70I T5 and now I have ordered the new V70 III with the 3.2 L engine. To my choice was BMW 530 and Audi A6 3.2 not only because of my good experiences from the past (I have also driven BMW for a long time) but also because of the optics (yes, I know there is a topic of dispute among Volvo drivers) the Volvo. One point was also the rear view with the two tailpipes in aluminium optics shown in the brochures. Even after consultation with the purchase end of 2007 I was assured that the system is that way. The configurator on the Volvo HP proved this to be the case. So now the new one came and I have to find out that the system is no longer visible, so the tailpipes run under the rear apron. I am rather disappointed and consider whether I will take the car at all. Who has the same experience and can tell me how Volvo reacted to it? Did I actually have a right as a buyer to the equipment as the HAGES would be offered during the sale?

volvo 960 buy?
Hello dear Motortalkler, after my 850 got the death kick in the form of a VW bus, I bought a V 40. But I’m not happy with it, I didn’t think I needed the place but…! Now I look after a 960 3.0 24 V. What can you say about this car, the automatic is ok for the duration. The equipment is excellent with almost all offered. I have one in mind with 180000km, that should not be a problem for the engine, right? My 850 2.5 20 V had last 280000km on the clock and the engine ran like a clockwork! What does the car need so, which it is not a savings miracle I know but how much is in it with adapted driving mode? Many questions and hopefully many answers. Thank you very much and greeting from hopefully soon 960s….Peter

Volvo Special Amazon 1986
Hi! As announced yesterday, here are 3 photos of my Volvo Amazon, which I was allowed to drive in 1986, but in the end the car was too stupid to keep. It was a special part, built by a Volvo mechanic in Frankfurt and then bought from me. The Volvo was dark blue, deeper laid, with extreme lowbed rims + wide tires, leather equipment and much more, which unfortunately I can hardly remember, except that it was a great feeling to be on the road with the Amazon …. I photographed the present photos with my digital camera of slides and accordingly the quality is also. Unfortunately, I couldn’t find the actual picture with the beautiful side view of the stretched Volvo yet, but will continue to look, but first these three. Gruss, Robin

Record kilometer performance…
servus people, I’m currently often on the road in a Swedish 200 forum, and I’ve heard a little bit about it, as it looks like with high mileage. in sweden the people traditionally drive much more than in Germany, but so that, believes almost no man… here a pull out: – Volvo B12 (Lastbil) med 4,000,000 km, – Volvo Tradare med 970.000 km, – 740 Limo med 1.700,000 km (engine exchanged at 1.300.000 km), – 244 GLT 1984 med 1.300.000 km, – 745 Taxi med 1.200,000 km, – 740 Limo med 1.200,000 km, (engine exchanged at 900,000 km), – 745 (blocket) med 1.090.000 km, – 245 DL 1977 med 1,000,000 km, – 740 (Vi Bilägare) med 1,000,000 km, – 740 Taxi med 1,000,000 km, – P1800 med 1,000,000 km, – 945 med 1,000,000 km?

Driving performance V70III 2,4D; 163 hp
Also at the risk that I’m annoying: My problem with the bad acceleration of the engine still exists. Am now almost 5000 km driven. On Friday the seller made a test drive with me. Backwind, 215 km/h peak. On the counterroad (ergo headwind) we unfortunately could not quite as well as we wanted. So as a try failed. Unfortunately the master is currently sick. With that I would of course like to talk about it. He took the defect indicator two weeks ago without complaint. Still no reaction from Volvo. This morning highway, counterwind, 6th gear, the Tachonadel scratches after troublesome start at the 200 and I hardly think my eyes look past: They fall back to 195 km/h. I was alone, without luggage. Did not at Heico-Tuning on the Internet http://www.heicosportiv.de/mainframe.asp? Of course, I have used the same speed again.

Experiences Highlight Assistant
Dear Volvistis, the days are getting shorter again. Time for light on the vehicle. That’s why my question, what experience have you gained with the high-light assistant? On some midnight trips I have had the experience that weak taillights are captured by the sensor very late. Likewise, the sensor reacts sensitively with counterlights – but sometimes too late. Then the oncoming traffic appears. That the operation of the assistant on motorways is meaningless because of the weak position lights on the roof of the truck approaching: gifted. The disc in front of the sensor is always “fly-free”. Now I ask myself, can you have the sensitivity of the sensor regulated by software? Otherwise short copy after 30 thousand km in about five months: everything works perfectly. Detailed report soon. Spreewald-Volvo: at night unfortunately always rare only on the slopes

I did it – and I cheated!
Hello together, after a year it was time for a new vehicle again. After V50 2.4i and S80 D5 AWD a new vehicle should come – but this time it was not a Volvo….. On the new S80 I was disturbed by various little things, which Volvo did not get in control: -Radio loses after standstill the transmitter and needs 30-40 s to find this again -old RTI-Navi, still much slower than in the V50 -PDC that last beeps when someone passes by the intersection -to soft leather seats tbc…. So, after long consideration and various test rides was ordered then today: VW Passat CC 2.0 TDI 125 KW with DSG in Icelandic-grey perfect sport seats electric with air conditioning side airbags and belt stretcher rear Climatronic decor alu brushed backside winter package + seat heating rear tinted disks xenon-curve driving light + coming home electric mirror, automatically faded off with a battery RIN 10.

Volvo v60 2020 t6 twin engine – Surrender front right
Moin Together, I’m driving a Volvo v60 t6 twin engine from 2020. I’m very happy with the vehicle so far and that’s been for almost 2 years. Yesterday I heard a new noise while driving and I can’t yet explain what it is and where it comes from. After a few minutes (2,3 minutes) I hear an electric buzz from the front right. The buzzing goes away after about a minute and I don’t hear the ride about it any more. When I restarted the same game. I thought that it might be the fuel heater and this morning just turned on the stand heating: sounds quite normal. My suspicion is that the air conditioning system has been cooled down in some way. Yesterday, however, I imagined that the noise went away when I deliberately pushed the ac button (so switched off). But can also be by chance. How does the air conditioning work at the phev? Is the compressor purely electric or is driven by a belt? If the latter works: how does it work, if the petrol engine is off and I drive electrically? Maybe you have to have a good idea again.

Crank housing Ventilation or ventilation
Hi there, I have the problem since yesterday that I have a louder squeaking on the engine. My first thought was that the noise comes from the belt drive, which is too shrill for this. Now I have found that a vacuum is forming in the crankcase. As soon as I pull off the hose on the oil separator the noise is gone. The MIL was also addressed yesterday, however I could not yet read out the error memory. I had not given that at first too much meaning, because I suspected the noise on the mechanical side Does anyone have an idea how the underpressure could arise? Normally there is rather an overpressure in the crankcase Many thanks for the support Matthias

Good headlights for V40? Originals are tealights
Moin. My brother-in-law drives a V40, be it Bj.96, and has massive problems with the original headlights. We ham the Philips Nightguide and the X-treme Power built in and no difference: the light cone on the road are full. 10, maximum 15m. The light is very dark, yellowish, so you would drive with better standlights. Treasures the headlights have simply become blind, etc. Now what can you recommend for new headlights. Now he has the H4 in-room inside. On eBay I found headlights per piece for 65-70€. H4 in-room or also H7 double chamber clear glass. Which one really good and lots of light. Should you buy the original Hella from Volvo again? What do they cost?
