  • front window lifter spins

    Hello to all I drive a v70 bj 2001 2.4l 125kw have recently the following problem: my window lift front driver’s side only works if I am on ignition (ignition lock position 2), as soon as I start the engine and the engine runs the window no longer reacts to my commands on the operating element. but only on the driver’s side all the others go impeccable. have already tried the new initialization and have already removed and cleaned the control element, everything without success, what can I try?? best thanks in advance

    Just because of the Nivomaten original-sachs-HA-damper had a treat. Since I don’t see a normal and easy-to-use solution here, I think of a complete racer, but preferably the same height as original. I am a. out of the age b. no woman that I want it deep & hard! I prefer a wolf in sheep’s fur. So just stay looking. Since I once had feathers in an Audi Lowtec, and the bucket is well located with it, but still was not hard, I thought of such a thing.   • New starter Volvo V70 II defective?

    Hello together, 3 years ago it started. The starter didn’t start. The magnet switch clacked. But more than that. A slight blow with hammer and rod helped then always. Until recently this maybe only occurred every 6 months. But then also beats did not help any more. Then I changed the starter. Was a new part from the Internet. However, it cost only 69 EUR. It then also had a month perfectly funtioned. But now the same thing: magnetic switch clacks. Starter does not start. Only after several keys turn or not at all. But then a knocker helps again. I have already replaced the starter relay, recharged the battery once, and checked the contacts of the battery, the starter and the crowd. All in order. Did I now catch a cheap starter, who gives up his mind already after a month or do you have any other ideas?   • I’d like more light in the dark

    Hello people, since the retrofitting of Xenon is too expensive, I would like to use other means to get more light out of my V70 (the present one is really a little too weak for night trips). My idea: Nightbreaker build up. Problem: They break quickly (especially if you drive with light during the day). My idea: retrofit day running light to save the sensitive nightbreaker (I would only need it for the darkness). Of course day running light also costs money and the Umkau costs time. Therefore, the question is whether the effort is worth it at all, or whether you simply buy 1-2 times a year the particularly bright illuminants. What would you do? Greetings of the Swede

  • Low coolant – MKL

    Hello, yesterday my V70 P26 (VFL from 2004, 2.5T with 209 hp) came back from the timing belt change and a few other repairs on the front axle and brake renewal… After a few kilometers of display “little coolant, safely stop”. Yesterday filled up accordingly and then drove in the sum of about 80 km. Today morning pure in’s car and same error message, coolant at minimum. 🙁 refilled but MKL remains on, no further information is visible in the display. I could not check whether coolers are leaking, as the parking area was all around wet due to permanent rain. Have autotechnically “2 left hands and only thumbs on it”, so I depend on the workshop.

  • My XC90 conjures!?!

    Hello, my XC90 slowly worries me. He’s cracked the 200 tkm mark tonight, that’s a nice thing, unfortunately he has a seemingly insoluble problem. He can conjure coolant away!! That’s what follows. For about 2 years and now 60 Tkm cool water disappears! Performed work and search: First checked for external leaks and searched for Mitllerweil 8 times. A one-week stay at Volvo for diagnosis, with co test and leak test! WITHOUT success. There it was still so that you have filled up about every 6 to 9 weeks from Min on Max. Meanwhile I do this every Sunday. Daily driving distance 60 to 80 km. Heat exchanger in the interior area has no leakage that one could see or feel, the heater I have a week ago with a lot of fluffy egg through the distant fog light cannon? I still have a good idea to wear out this out. Unfortunately still disappears cool water. Kien slimm in the oil, no oil in the water. So CO test did not have to have the cool water here.

  • Motor control unit cannot be read out ….

    hardly there and no already the 2nd problem motor control light lights motor turns too high and goes out in the morning always swallows to give off short gas. was in 4 workshops opel (because of relationship), atu , boschdienst,and free volvo workshop nobody came into the control unit..and what nu?? does someone know a workshop near me 46569 Hünxe Niederreihn who can certainly read out or can it be someone of you? would be super quick help to get because the consumption is currently around 15 liters.

  • Mispurchasing my usage behavior?

    Hello people, have bought a V50 with 100kw and DPF and he has convinced me of purely driving power and visual, as well as of the equipment.Have bought the vehicle with 124,000km.The DPF is brand new. Drive it now for a good week and it was great so far.Consumption was about 6.8-7,3 L,with which I can live. I am not as sure from now on if I have the right car.Have now already the much quoted ruckeln and a consumption,which goes clearly over the 8L in the mix. that this has to do with the particle filter, I read and I could live with it.But I drive a lot of short distance and that has to do with my side job.I distribute the newspaper in the morning with the car and then I always drive only metly from road to road.That goes so about 2 hours every morning and then I drive directly to my main job.To do this I have about 10km through the newspapers and then over the BAB about 15km and then down again and then the usage is free and still about 10km the day of my main job.
