Hello forum, actually a topic for the insurance forum, but the target group is probably rather to be found here. After last weeks I ordered a XC60 T8 Recharge fast, I also immediately asked with our insurance, what is called there for HP and VK. Does only 180 and is more a car to cruise… Wrong thought, from currently 880 Euro for the T5 the insurance would rise to approx. 1300 Euro. Even if there is almost everything in there, what the insurance offers I find the increase somewhat ard. Since there are still things to clarify with the order, he asked whether an insurance change is possible. I am now not the constant insurance changer. The expenditure is too much for me for 50 Euro per year. Moreover, I do not want to discuss every time with the new insurance person that I do not want to move all my insurances. But now to the question: Does anyone already have experiences with the Sweden insurance of Volvo? The homepage of Volvo does not give so much. Greeting, Baer70

Automatic braking in the stand switches off irregularly
With my XC60 B4 MY22 it happens that the “automatic brake in the stand” has turned off by itself. Interestingly, only when my wife has driven. Not always, once in 3 weeks. Is then stupid, if one does not pay attention to the switch (should always be activated), drives again and at the first traffic light the car continues rolling. Of course, it does not switch it off manually. Any key/heel/pedal constellation seems to cause this occasionally. Have the other already observed? Explanations? Greetings

Found rubber band… where could it come from?
Moin! This morning I went to work when I heard a sound. It sounded like something was loosening up and falling down. I thought because of the season and the acorn trees planted in Hamburg (meaningfully on the road) to a fallen acorn or leaf with those that previously roamed the car or something… Well, long speech in short sense, I had found nothing when getting out, but when getting in… There was this rubber band (photo) in the passenger footroom… I have no idea where this could come from… Are such rubbers “built up” in the Volvo and if for what? It is about 22cm long (torn) and 0.7cm wide.

Bad karma or … ?
If something goes wrong, then right … I’ve been driving my V60 for a week. Yesterday shortly after 16.00 at KM-Stand 568 on the way into the extended weekend the tyre pressure control registers … I look in the sensus to the right too little. So on the next occasion to the right drive and look. Almost PLATT. Somewhere on the A6 a broken key drilled almost in the middle into the tread. Sh… No chance for tire pilot. It turns out, after 16.00 o’clock obviously no tire service is open anymore – because Saturday. (Tire emergency service there ́s apparently only for trucks ́s – despite intensive search on the internet found nothing for cars) Now it comes to a conclusion that I bought the car without an emergency wheel and am also not a member of an automobile club. Had calculated that the risk “overlookable” is to remain with a tire panel. Practically all other defects would fall under the guarantee … I have only been lying with damaged tires for the last 20 years, but at that time, too much more than 50 years ago.

Play MP3 from amazon does not work
Hi, downloaded albums that I buy from Amazon cannot be played in my V60. It’s always only “track not readable”. – If I load the files to a separate USB in which only Amazon albums are, it says from the beginning “no and not. Files” It’s MP3. – So it shouldn’t be a problem. – With other MP3 there are no problems – but vice versa I have no problems with the Amazon MP3 on other devices (MP3 player, PC, TV). Do you have that too? – Amazon tells me, some manufacturers are not compatible with the Amazon MP3 – on request what is different to the Amazon MP3, they told me that Amazon uses a partly rigid and partly variable bit rate of an average of 256 kb and thus apparently have some problems or adjustments to be made. But now I don’t know what you could do differently… Therefore all the albums that Amazon downloaded have: can you tell me something about your experiences?

LPG and S80?
In the meantime, I had found a great V7 3.2, all as far as possible, but I wanted to expand the search before a final decision. In the autumn, directly on my wife’s daily journey, an LPG filling station opened, so that LPG moves into the focus. So part of our search is the search for a gasoline engine and the conversion to LPG (Eric E had his conversion experience posted, thank you for it). Well, a diesel is not going to be outside, but is increasingly coming to the rear. Finally, I realize that all statements about the conversion V70 also apply to the S80 (must), the difference lies in the tank, right?? To the profile: my wife drives rather quietly “cruiser mode”. From the pure performance would (almost) the 1.6D reach, but still a prerequisite is the automatic again. Currently, she has one and I am not sure if she wants to/will give up on it. Just she called, before the school of our son she did not get rid of herself with the BW. But it is not a good thing to do.

Question to the XC 90 V8 users
So, now I have them also behind mr – the test drive in the V8. Besides expected shadow sides (about 3l more fuel consumption compared to my small hand switched gasoline) and expected sun sides (the 100 hp more fun) there was also unexpected. Unexpectedly great, the sovereignty was at 50% gradients. Where my 2.5T moans and the Geartronic of the soot particle fraction gives severe odors of heated oil, this car ran untorted with less than 2000 revolutions/min lightly feet up the mountain (This configuration of an XC 90 does not need any understatement!!!). Whether the 6 gear automatic, the large engine or just instant traction is responsible for this, I don’t know. Was in any case classes better compared to other XC 90 models. Unexpectedly was the switching behavior of the 6 gear automatic beyond the 50km/h?

Single list Euro-2 KLR for 850 T-5 automatic
Hello together, after having successfully coordinated the collection list(s) for the 20-valley and then developed by the company Ruopp and HJS the long-awaited KLR for the EURO-2 conversion a few years ago, I would like to try this now also for the T-5 with automatic transmission. Before I go to Ruopp, however, I would like to know first of you whether there is any interest in this. I WILL REQUEST THIS ANXY IN OTHER FORES! Therefore I have a request: If you are on the way in several forums, please only enter 1x, as otherwise we will be out of a wrong number of interested parties. If you have any questions, you can also mail me directly (address is deposited in the forum) or send me a PN. So, and now the list you can enter: 1. manni850 2. 3. 5. … Many greetings and everything good for 2010 Manni

Wieveile and which engine bearing has a 2.4T?
Hi, My engine suspension seems to me somehow more and more sluggish and tilty. Provides for a sometimes jerky driving mode in the city. 193hp 2.4T with 5-speed, 195tkm The cracked engine side rubber bearing on the upper torque support has already been replaced before 60tkm for a PU insert. Which other bearings are still available to replace? Bzw. Which bearing is the most common (the lower torque support?) I find on ebay 6 or 7 different-looking M bearings that should fit for the engine… Pillows, hydros, lower torque supports, etc… How many hydro bearings are actually installed (possibly two?), and if 2, are the two identical ones? Need some help with the parts search. Unfortunately I don’t have a lifting platform, and wanted to have the parts there already when I get a stage seat…

V50 R-Design D2 — Purchases at Heico? Ask for help & opinions!
Hello all! My D2 at the rear will be a little too nice to be honest. I would have liked to see chic exhaust blinds that are also on view. No excessive tuning equipment but something fancy that Volvo would sell if necessary. I don’t think it makes sense to have an exhaust system of the T5 or similar sub-assembling. Heico offers an AbG system for the D2. However, they could not provide me with a sound example, which is why I am afraid of the investment. My elk also has a fixed trailer coupling (which is needed several times a week) which has already required an incision in the R apron. So what are your opinions on the following points: – optically ok with fixed AHK – performance improvement – sound change in the small diesel The system is specifically offered for the D2, D3 & co. I would be very pleased about your answers Exhaust system from Heico http://www.heicosportiv.de/mainframe.asp?lang=en1=204 LG Jens PS: Have a R-Design forgivers, X-Schurze front-neck, front-neck-neck-neck-neck-neck-shapeg.
