I have to ask a Saudi question now. How does the door lock exactly at PS2? I thought the PS2 will lock automatically and on its own, so don’t press a button on the key, you get away from the car with a key in your hand and then it will lock up at some point. Is that like this or am I wrong? And how do you know if the car is really closed? I just looked into the instructions, but you can’t find a clear answer. Maybe you can post and we get her that thing completed. Best practices quasi 🙂

Polestar 2 “Base Model”: 224hp, FWD, 63kWh

Thus the vehicle would be also under the 40k net threshold for the full legal promotion. Does someone already have more information about when the vehicle will be available and available? According to interviews with Polestar Management from last year sometime in 2021, only When?

Callbacks Polestar 2
Within a very short time there are already 2 calls back to Polestar 2. I’m surprised that this isn’t the topic yet. Luckily, however, it’s only small things. I would have thought that the inverter problem also solves the multiple faulted charging curve…

Volvo / Polestar cooperation with plugsurfing
I’m expected to get my Volvo XC40 P8 next month and I’m trying to orient myself in the jungle of the various charging providers (unfortunately, I’m completely dependent on the public infrastructure). For me, all of this is still extremely opaque at the moment … Volvo / Polestar has been cooperating with plugsurfing since last year. What I haven’t been able to get from the flowery press releases so far: What’s the advantage of the Volvo / Polestar driver from this Koopera? Is there, for example, an attractive “house rate”? The “generally accessible” tariffs of plugsurfing seem to me to be rather less attractive, especially after Plugsurfing Plus was reinstated in Germany … Gruß, Andreas

Comparison with other electric vehicles
Since this discussion was criticized in a different thread than off-topic, I’m going to open a new one. Background is that I’d like to compare Polestar 2. I was a little surprised to see that the Polestar in a YouTube test (see Range Thread) only creates 300km at 120kmh and good conditions. This results in a significantly higher consumption compared to Tesla. I found even more shocking that the consumption is similar to the EQC, which is often referred to as a flop. My expectation had been that the Polestar 2 would finally be a reasonable Tesla competitor compared to the German trials, but that this promise could not keep both in terms of updates, range/efficiency as well as production volume and charging curve. Android Automotive is also only a software for the headunit, but not for the whole car. This still consists of many different ECUs. Tesla has this almost everything in a central compu I don’t want the car to be the worst, much (e.g. operation, driving dynamics, processing) I also find it very successful, but it’s actually not really better than the German competitor and this was also disappointing for me. What reasons besides the quality of the workmanship and possibly the design (subjective) could one have to take the Polestar instead of the Model 3?

Polestar – “The End” – Polestar 1 Launch
A lot is happening on the Polestar Instagram account at the moment. Starting with a simple “The End” and a reference to the 17.10.17, new photos of a picture puzzle are posted every day.https://www.instagram.com/polestarcars/ Jagrullar.se updates the puzzle with every new Polestar post:http://www.jagrullar.se/…/viewtopic.php?… Polestar Concept Coupe? Polestar C90? Polestar S60? It’s definatively a limousine or a coupe and the rear lights out. echen not the S90. If there is already a thread on this topic, please merge. However, the search did not yield anything to me.

Music via USB medium
In the spring I get a Volvo V40 Pure Electric, which is supposed to have the same entertainment system as Polestar 2. I have already looked at the online operating instructions of the two vehicles, but they are very inexhaustible in terms of entertainment. Forum contributions often go into speculation and are partly contradictory. Now I would be interested in the following, best of all people who already have a Polestar 2 or could test it themselves: Thanks scho n times and greetings Andreas

Polestar 2 78kw Single Engine – Improvements in the current version (load curve, range…?
Hello together there is information about whether the new 78KW single engine model will improve the charging curve and efficiency? The current model is uninteresting for me (leasing rate too high), but the single engine variant is interesting for me as a company car.
