Now I have invested a lot without looking at the Euro, but one thing makes me crazy: Water is always standing in the footroom. Somewhere in the rain water comes into the car and that is not too scarce. The sunroof seems to be tight, at least when I drive the car nothing comes in, even when I drive in the rain, But when the car is standing, water seems to enter somewhere. The seats are dry, the amature board also, only in the footroom under the front seats to the rear seats. What can that be? I would be very grateful for tips. LG hjm

Special tool from VOLVO for rear axle bushings – can not at all..
Moin I wanted to renew my rear axle bushings this weekend and immediately ordered the original Volvo special tool with me… who thinks it can work quite relaxed? a fatal mistake! (a former colleague and master at Volvo also said that they have already reordered it at least 5 times, because it’s so shit…) the spindle of the tool bends every time the socket is pressed in and pressed out… so I managed to hang and choke one side with…also only m it big torque on the spindle nevertheless a tormented …. and double spindle to fix again… also no fun… so pimping tool! I modified the whole thing a little bit, and this really works like a bag… you can push the socket out with a normal gun and again! I don’t want to keep this from you!

Cardan shaft
Last week I heard and ran a rattle in the area of the Kardan tunnel. When I was under the Volvo, I had to find out that the cardan shaft has quite a lot of play. Unfortunately, the rubber in the cardan shaft joint is torn. It wouldn’t really matter to drive my AWD as an FWD. However, the driving toe control is on and of course it doesn’t work without cardan shaft. Does anyone have a suggestion how to fix the rubber again so that the e Kardanwelle again quietly turns? Thermostat
Moin, my V 70 140 hp year 2000 290000 km is not really warm anymore, drove the day before yesterday out of the garage and then at some point noticed that the heating does not really warm up and the temperature indicator remains under the middle position. Could this be on the thermostat and you can check it or just change it for good luck? Where does this sit at the V 70 … can you exchange it yourself as a not overly gifted car screwdriver? Hello friends, many will know the martyrdom that I’ve been with since the end of 2019. For those who don’t know it small summary: From BSR Stage 1 to BSR Stage 3. 14 months later, no TÜV get, because very bad exhaust gas values. TÜV thinks KAT is through. BSR sends me a replacement KAT on Kulanz Unfortunately not exactly the same, the recording for the Lambdasonde2 was missing in the right place. “New” KAT built in = nevertheless badest exhaust gas values, the same As before (see picture) the search followed, what can be there, and in countless workshops (often full of storytellers & no-turners) parts were repeatedly renewed and various experiments carried out. Parts were renewed several times, etc. More than 6000.- flowed into these rep. attempts Also an engine damage was there again, as already 1 week after the BSR Stage1 installation. Whether the two engine damage (which were exactly the same / exactly the same valves burned in the same cylinder / because to lean/ o Although EVERYTHING came new, and only & alone the software of BSR remained the same), I can’t say, I pers. think of my part). Now it was enough for me and I ordered and had a “decent” KAT installed. Result see picture. Conclusion, I could have saved a lot of money, I would have installed something decent. The error code after that might have come from the bad KAT which has heated up the likewise renewed 2 probe. I thought I was putting I’m also thinking about removing the software from BSR and replacing it with another one? But this is still open, because if I get a 3x the exact same engine damage, not only will the software be checked by an expert, but also a conversation with BSR. When I told them this, this year, what is going on, not even an answer came. Also comparison data di e these have promised me, have not come the last months. I have to move because of the full review to the tuve…is not possible with me because of other dates, now my question you mean if I expand the nsw, take the switch out and make it look like I don’t have any, (if they have to work) it could go or do you have a good other idea…the pears are top, the fuse also, the relay could have the damage or the switch… but I won’t find out in the short of time. Light rolling V 70 year 2000

I didn’t notice anything during the test drive, but shortly after I had it at home he started to jerk easily, so easily that you can hardly notice it sometimes. Slowly it gets more, I have the feeling that it is hardly noticeable or even not present in the cold state. Even when accelerating more strongly it is not available in the range around 2000 rpm in the 3rd or 4th gear when slow acceleration is felt It’s quite clear. In idle everything is ok, it starts immediately and runs evenly and round. Sometimes you even have the feeling when you give gas the engine takes a minute of memory until it accelerates. If I feel a slight swallowing in the 5th gear evenly roll you can feel in between times. If someone has an idea where you start looking, candles are original Volvo and look top, according to the maintenance book, would have been in there for 25,000 km. When he decided to drive my car he tried to scrape everything away from the window.
