Hi again, my little one is just doing a little trouble again. 850er/2,5L/144PS/10V And it doesn’t get warm any more. As long as you drive, the needle doesn’t get a mm from the basement. After 15-20 minutes. The needle is located where it belongs. In the middle of the display. Then and only then it gets warm in the car. Now I thought, change the thermostat. Can’t be so expensive. My friend told me that he should lie around 90-100€. I passed out slightly. Is it really so expensive? But my question is: how has age affected safety? Are our old elks still as safe as before? Or is the coach already hit because of age and no longer has the skills as once 20 years ago? The first 850s have already exceeded this age. How does that look with the safety systems themselves? Are they still usable or can it happen in an accident already that the airbag fails? Refurbishment of fan nozzles, problem with performance
Hello at my 850 half a year ago I converted to V70 fan nozzles. 2x nozzles changed. Then it ran great until 2 weeks ago. After that it was only bluberting out of the nozzles. Tubes examined and found out that the distributor valve for the headlight wipers is over and the whole pressure dor is lost. Then at Scandix the 2 distribution valves bought for the headlight wipers and also for the windscreen wipers. This http://www.skandix.de/a/1006978/ and this http://www.skandix.de/a/1004048/ Now water from the nozzles again ABER the power broke in half. For that comes out super much from the headlight nozzles. There is even a huge beam of both headlight wipers. Yesterday I also at the 850 TDI from the Schwager the same action is done: 2x nozzles, 2x valves (profilaktisch so to speak). The same phenomen as regards the pressure. I had not read about the reconditioning?

Control unit – replacement 850 T5 ́97
Huhu My dad asks me to ask the knowledgeable ones here among you what it looks like to replace the control unit, because for some time now some lights have been burning for a long time despite all repairs.. This is (believe) ABS, Antishlupf? and Motorelektronik lamp. I have read a lot about soldering here?! Can someone tell me something closer? RTI – Problems ! Update ? Out with it ?
Now I’ve been driving my new elk #2 for a couple of months now, which has a navigator (this RTI) from the factory. Since I belong to the type of driver who looks at an unknown route before and then also without a ‘uschi’ quiz question #1an’s goal, I haven’t dealt with this part in detail yet. For a short time, I’ve turned over the ‘handbook’ to try to start the existing ‘displays’ (CDs, DVD’s?) and hacked like a doofer on the FB. Not really refreshing – rather full NoGo. So shut up again and as previously ignored…. The quiz question: Is there any (still) current map material for this ancient device at all? On the disks there’s something from 98, 99 on it – so no longer really current …. …. then I can still use my old European atlas from Shell in the case of the cases. Can you talk about it like that’s expensive.

Coolant under minimum – where Volvo Coolant mix 50/50? Water?
Moin, the red lamp lighted up in the board computer by chance for too little cooling water. I checked, cooling water is below minimum.
