Hello, just ask me which ignition coils I should install? To the problem: My engine runs when it is cold very bad and starts badly, moreover it is extremely fat current consumption from 30-50 liters to 100km. My ignition coils are full of oil, so also the cylinder head. Is this perhaps the cylinder head seal? Well, I think that the ignition coils cause the engine problems. I already ordered new spark plugs, ignition coils original are Bosch, which are at knap p 35-40 Euro however too expensive. Does anyone have experience with the topic or tips which one can/should build? MfG Dome.

Idling, needing advice
Moin, unfortunately, the moose clacked quite violently this noon and I need your advice. For a few weeks he has had minimal side noises, which I had taken in the way already at many P80 and therefore did not worry about. Today at noon this was really extreme. Before that he always ran very clean and absolutely quiet, as I was confirmed today at noon. If one spontaneously steps on the gas or a load change (coupling) is present there is a metallic rattle or. I had always thought of the flex tube (resonance) because the outer tissue was damaged. This was also on the list in March, but was always tight. The recording was from today’s noon and the engine was in the border area between cold and operating temperature. That means: I had just lunch break, drove 15km of highway and then when starting after a three-quarter hour there was this noise. Before the question on oil level is regularly checked (currently weekly) and the last oil change is 2800km (at km level 283000). Oil consumption is minimal, i.e. 150ml to 1000 (if at all so much). Of course I have big worries and if it is necessary according to your opinion, I can leave the car if necessary. I am simply at the moment at a loss and insecure. Not that the moose has a bearing damage. B5244s2 almost 286,000km Edit: Video comes equal is only too big

Defect of the rear fog lamp
Moin moin, my 850er has some problems with his NSL and the TÜV is at the door. She registers rather sporadically to very rarely. Switch in the dashboard is i.o. fuse is i.o. lamp is i.o. 12V arrive at the version. I thought it might be because the relay does not allow enough power, but did not find any in the driver’s footroom on slot 7. Is probably only a relay for front… trailer coupling is therefore not the cause as for vi Ele here. Don’t really know what to do … Lg

Door lock driver side Volvo 850 LS
Hello, Recently we had to find out that after about 2 days of standstill the battery was completely empty. At first we thought of a damaged battery and switched it off. Unfortunately this was not the reason. Now we measured times and see there, in the standstill and all doors to flow a current of about 2A. If one pulls the fuses 6 and 15 then the current drops to 0A. For us, therefore, the offender was to be found in the circuit central locking and/or interior lighting. Searching in this area led us to the door lock of the driver’s side. If you separate the wire harness of the left door, then the error current immediately drops to 0A. Next we removed the door lock. We wanted to see if you can find an electrical error here. And here we are stuck. The lock is equipped with a plastic hood. This would have to be dismantled in order to get to the electrics. That’s what we fail to do. How can you get this hood off? The second way would be to install a new (used) lock. If we do, do the old keys still fit? or can you adjust the new lock to the old keys? For every help we are grateful. With kind greeting

TDI “ears” wanted
Hello together, something in/on (ne, rather in) my engine is tackert… It makes me crazy! ADAC said “Ventil beats on the piston floor” , workshop (older Audi man) says “ignore” my ears say “it doesn’t belong there, what is that” I know, remote diagnosis is always a kind of glass ball reading, but maybe someone is familiar with the tacker? Maybe I also hear ghosts? It comes more from the left (if I stand in front of it, so passenger side), while filming fell m I want to make it clearer in the back too… Thank you and greetingsMotor tackers

Too little load!
Hello the following problem. I bought a 750 kg unbraked trailer from Humbaur. I assumed that the V70 I could pull that. Unfortunately, I had to find out afterwards that only a trailer load of 500 kg is entered in my vehicle license. At a braked 1600 kg. I was with Volvo today and they didn’t even want to believe that that was true. They couldn’t help me and were fading about wrong papers. So there are no papers for loading. ? My trailer coupling is from Auto Hak. This is only up to 1900 kg. Otherwise this should be based on the respective vehicle specifications. However, I did not get an ABE either, which is only not subject to registration. According to mobile.de the V70 I Bj. 99 has a trailer load with unbraked of 750 kg. What now? Does the way to the Tüv actually remain? Only if I have no clearance how should they help me. Bzw enter?

Moose will die – what now?
Hello dear community, unfortunately a sad post and perhaps the last time I ask for your help. I was just with my moose at the Volvo dealer who unfortunately made the probably fatal diagnosis: loss of compression pressure, gasoline in the oil. Last week I stayed the first time, but the ADAC could not really help, now this diagnosis. I only got the car good 3 months, my first car… In the hope to do nothing wrong with Swedish steel and that the gan I bought this car and at the end I was sadly disappointed. TÜV 5 days ago, new tyres 1000km ago, all kinds of small stuff… To my question: What do I do now with the car? He still drives, that’s why I also drove home from the dealer, now he parks in the side street. Can I still sell it as a part dispenser? How much is it worth and how long can such a thing take (can it take because of the St. And does it make sense to sell at least the tyres individually on Alufelge? I hope for your help and some valuable tips, because honestly I have no idea what to do now… Still to the vehicle data: V70 2.5 10V (144PS) Year of construction 99

Shock absorber for C70 2000
Hello, would like to ask your opinions, experiences and recommendations, which shock absorbers to take. – I used the car in 95% alone on country road / inside – have 17′ Canisto rims with tire dimension 225/45R17, which should also not be bigger – do not want to lower – do not want to change the shock absorbers in all 2 years Have also looked around at PolarParts and found there a set (4 pcs) against 110,- €. So far I had with the company only positive experience But the 110,- € gü a set of Sachs with about 400,- € “too cheap”. Can I take that? Thank you for your answers and further recommendations already in advance! MfG: Balázs

Motor almost dies off when you brake hard
Hello. I have a strange phenomenon with my 850. It started with the fact that the cooler had a leak in the summer and the engine got quite hot once. It had then cooled it off and brought it carefully into the workshop. On the way there I already had the feeling that it was not running really round anymore. When it got colder a few weeks ago, he jumped normally, but then went out again and again abruptly. Now I was able to find out that the engine is dying (and is catching again) after having slowed down a little bit more. Did anyone ever have that? And can it be that a sensor was damaged during the overheating in the summer? The temperature display in the AI indicates a normal value. Where could you best start with this problem? Greetings Eric

Starter defective ???
Hello municipality, the following problem: Volvo 850 2.5 144hp vehicle starts as always, without quirks, without organs, really fast. Sometimes, now more often the starter needs 2-3 turns to jump on. But you have the feeling it runs hard. Also the instrument indicator becomes weak. But it starts tormented. After a one-hour drive I wanted to turn off the car and then leave it again after ten minutes. After a turn the starter was standing. And again, and again, and again, and again. Pushing, ignition, second gear, swoops and on it was. After the next shutdown it jumped off again immediately without murmuring. The battery,72Ah, is blind and is charged. Never needed a bridge. I think the starter simply got into the years and cumbersome. Before I change it I ask you again. Greeting from Hamburg
