Gude, I have been the proud owner of a C70 I for over 2 years. I have already put a lot of love and time into it. Unfortunately, there are still some things that the mechanic of trust does not get solved: 1. Unfortunately, it was wrongly picked up by the previous owner, so the threshold on both sides is warped and starts to rust on the driver’s side. 2. I have a strong wrinkle when I release the accelerator pedal at 1900 unturns. Especially annoying is this in the 1 & 2nd 3. The window lifter on the passenger side was broken when buying a vehicle. After visiting the mechanic, the window closed, but strong wind noise and train from 100km/h were the by-product. In addition, it is more like an outdoor swimming pool than a cockpit in the car wash in the interior. The mechanic had already warned me after the repair that it will never be the same again. However, it can’t be left that way. 4. The last, but most annoying problem is the radio (S C-901). Sometimes there is no transmitter. Much worse, but it’s a crack. No sound comes first when switching on, then it cracks after 2-3 minutes loud and the sound is back again. The radio has already been changed and replaced by another SC-901 original radio. In the old device the board had been skyrocketed with haariss. Despite exchange, however, this does not change the problem at all. Now I am looking for a body builder and a mechanic, best in the Rhine-Main area, de You have an address or a contact person for me who can help me? Or someone who had the same problems and could solve them? I would be very happy about an answer, as I am slowly but surely falling into madness!

Solution for flapping/squeaking rear seats/back bench
Evening together, in the 3D print thread we have worked together successfully a solution to minimize / eliminate flaps from the rear seats. The original rubber buffer in the lock of the back seats dissolves and thus the seats have a lot of play. I have copied the rubber buffer and printed it out in the 3D printer. Some of you have already registered, others certainly not yet. All I have printed now, I can send free of charge, only the shipping must be overnomm If my camp is then used up and someone still needs some, he can gladly contact and we find a solution. So: Who still needs buffers, please cover letter.

Volvo C70 Original suspension depth T5
Hello, I have not found anything, maybe you can help me. I would like to install a new chassis in my T5. My T5 has already installed the sports suspension from the factory, if I select the springs 30/30, it comes “logically” even deeper than it is now, right?` Or is the original suspension deeper? Thank you in advance

Let’s see what else comes. I would definitely like to wash you many accident- and puncture-free kilometers and hope for a lively exchange here in the forum. Greetings Thomas

Coupling encoder cylinders expand at the 850er
Now I have tried to unscrew it out. However, this is provided on one side with a relatively long bolt. Therefore it is necessary to push the cylinder back to the engine compartment. This is not possible, since it is at the lower part of the brake power amplifier. That is, it is only necessary because of this long bolt the Brmskrft amplifier with ABS hydraulics etc. lo This can’t be true, what Volvo is allowed to do. Has anyone ever done this before? Or is there another trick? In addition, there are two versions of cylinders. The old version with threaded connection for the hydraulic line and a new one in which the hydraulic line is plugged and secured with a clip somehow. How to get the clip in the engine compartment under the brake hydraulics in the built-in condition, the dear G ott. The part is simply round and no clip stands out. It is to despair. Someone knows this problem mfG

New exhaust system from KAT
Hello all, I bought my 850 Limo (MJ96) 20V 125 kW just a month ago with a two-part stainless steel sports exhaust system, which was already installed by the pre-owner. In the stand all sounds quite funny, but in operation the part is unfortunately clearly too loud. Especially in the range 2200 to 3200 U/min the thing roars like stupid in the interior, so highway rides at straightening speed are not really great. Unfortunately, I don’t know which system it is. Whoever installed this, did a great job at least optically and in terms of welding technology – but what helps. In appearance, the thing doesn’t stand and an e-tester (or similar) on the parts I didn’t find either. One more reason to make an exchange here. Now the question is: I probably switch to the original exhaust from Volvo, right? Can I just buy a good used one here? I also didn’t really find out if it was a good one. Volvo’s original 1-piece system is different in Turbo / Without Turbo and Limo / Combi? Is there a simple tip what to look for or how to identify a real exhaust? Thank you in advance!

Restocking the catalyst – Info Thread
Hello dear community, in recent times the complaints have piled up that the catalysts for retrofitting do not even get at the original quality. Be it from Volvo original or from a third party, the Kats roar and in the end it only annoys one. The solution: to keep the old Kats, because they have a larger wall thickness and thus act as a pre-war for the sound. But what if the old Kat gives up the mind so slowly? The times come, there will also be the Kats needed to be mostly finished. I have the case with my 850 now that the catalyst started to rattle when you knock against it. I already put a good cat on a dump a year ago, which is now installed along with the new Lambda probe. But what do I do with the old one? Throwing away is not possible. I have rather the following thought: is it possible to have the catalysts refitted? So yes, that is possible. But how long does that last? has anyone ever had experience? Especially at the p80? LG, Tim

To dog owners 😉
I’ve always had to upgrade the fans for the trunk. Today this was implemented: 2 120mm fans (there are lots on eBay & co), the matching metal grilles. For 350€ I was too bad to buy original parts http://www.online-teile.com/…/product_info.php?… The fan for the passenger side fit Plug & Play there are 2 rubber parts that then hold the fan. On the driver side it looks as if these parts have been removed from me for this purpose. Power connection: I simply stole electricity from the rear window heater directly from the connector for the tailgate above the left speaker from the D-pillar at Pos 1 is +, pos 14 is mass. Here’s a video of it: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=o6Yl31HQbcI&feature=youtu.be The fans are not perceptible when the bottom flap is on it.

Exhaust gas odour when driving with open window
Hello together, I am faced with a mystery with my moose: When driving with an open window, it smells strongly of exhaust gas in the interior (especially on the back seat where the children are sitting, not at all good…). Two different workshops did a diagnosis and both tested the tightness of the exhaust system by flue gas, with the result: “Absolutely dense.” ????? In fact, Krummer/Flextube are only three years old and muffler/main pipe from last year. The cat is still “old” (from the previous owner). The power is OK (I am used to my elk in spite of its 126hp to 1400kg rather sluggishly), but the oil consumption for my feeling is quite high (about 1L on 2000km). In the error memory (Blink-OBD) is nothing. Curious is also that the smell really only occurs when the window is open. The ventilation always smells pleasantly neutral, therefore the topic was not a problem again in winter. Now I really have no idea anymore and would very much like good ideas when troubleshooting / troubleshooting f Here my vehicle data: PS: 126 Engine displacement: 1984 Drive type: Gasoline PollutantCl.: EURO-2 Body shape: Combi Gearbox: Hand shift Color: Green First registration: 1994 Thank you!
