I drive a Volvo V70I, Bj.99, petrol, switch, 103kW, 145,000 Tkm and have light vibrations on the accelerator pedal, clutch pedal and the floor mat. Feels like the engine vibrations are passed over the body. I have already stoked here in the forum and replaced the following parts up to now. – both Hydro engine bearings (front and rear) – the large engine bearing on the right – moment strut between drive and engine – upper engine bearing a year ago (see still Before changing the bearings, the vibrations were a lot stronger and the engine itself moved a lot more during load changes and road unevenness. In my opinion, the causers were the front engine bearing and the engine bearing on the right side, which did not look good any more. The light vibrations as described above have remained, which I would like to eliminate. For tips at which point I could continue to look for the causer I would be very good. I can’t believe it.

Purchase advice V70 R AWD
Hello to all Unfortunately I found a lot of purchase advice in the SuFu, but not much about V70 R AWD Maybe you can put this together here. I’m not really talking about the V70 – specific things, but especially about the motor and R AWD components. Background is an offer for a 98 R AWD with 350Tkm. I’ve learned a lot over the last few years. However, there are still some questions, just about engine and powertrain. I know, at the AW D the ghosts separate. But I have formulated some questions. 1) Is there any maintenance to the four-wheel drive that should be in the checkbook? 2) Can one detect or hear any potential damage to the four-wheel drive? Are there any special features to be taken into account when buying? Someone said something about a “clonk” – noise when driving backwards. 3) Can one convert an AWD “just like that” to the FWD and what does that mean in terms of work, operating permit (registration) and returns 4) What is the difference between an engine of the normal T5 (239hp) and that of an R (250hp)? 5) What about the cost of maintenance and repair? Is this moving at the level of a C70 Coupe? Keyword: AWD hurts in the wallet 😉 6) Are there other R-characteristics that should be taken into account when buying? I already thank you for your help. Well then….

Coolant in the driving room – Footroom – V70I – Pls help!
Hi Volks, I have a big problem here and hope that it’s not about the topic of “complete dashboard removal”. As can be seen in the picture, comes from the heater?? below a hose out – you can see coolant running out there. Even with the supply air you can smell coolant. Can it be that there is only a bit clogged there or is it actually the bad topic “heat exchanger leaking”? But no matter what it is – I have to do it. Only a little simple would be nicer 😉 Many greetings e Tom

V70 2.4T Autom. BSR1 vs. Porsche Cayenne S
Hy, so since my engine renewal it’s going really well. BSR 1 and other little things are on it. But not the better LLK and possibly the better downpipe incl. exhaust. Nevertheless, I noticed today that he can not only keep up with a Porsche Cayenne S, but could even overtake it to the right. The Porsche has always tried it, and always it was certainly too weak (not much but still). That can’t be what I thought, the S is the stronger model that I did. or is that in the 2.5+ tons league ? But that he has bitten so many times has surprised me. What would have happened if Stage 4 had been under my hood ? Well, anyway again a nice day that my old Volvo has given me 🙂

Automatic gearbox Check oil level – is simply an imposition
Colleagues, I really like my C70 and I’m really grateful to Volvo and TWR for creating this, my favorite vehicle. But for testing the oil level of the automatic transmission, the engineers of Volvo still belong today….. Does anyone have a trick here as to how to get to the trackstick somehow humanely reasonable? Make change or something? With hot engine you risk burns and injuries, you need snake hands and fingers. It’s best to get three hands to keep the hoses out of the way and at the same time somehow get into the depth of the engine compartment. Such a Murk. It had to be said that I changed the ATF on weekends and washed through. That’s basically everything simple (if you don’t confuse the hoses and first you can pump ATF free and clean it). It’s also nice to see that there’s really a dark broth coming out). But I’m just shocked at the position of the track rod. ….

Up/upgrading the children’s seat, who’s done this?
Moin, if everything works as it should, our 850 will soon be a seven-seater. today a foreign 850 parked in front of the house door, in the back the additional seat, I directly talked to the driver if he still needs the one, no need he, we can have the one in the opposite direction he wants then our trunk plate. well now I wonder, is that easy? with the one car out, in the other car inside? the belts go into the side panel, in the back bench are “holes” in the plastic f or so hook to anchor the back bench when folding up. etc. if one of you has already done that, how difficult/consuming was that?

Help with the Lamda probe
Hello guys, yesterday I fell through the Tüv. In addition to some little things like pears, which don’t shine quite as much as the examiner would prefer, there were some more serious problems. Above all, the following worries me: lambda value at increased speed no i.o. I realize that there can be several reasons for this, and to fix everything could exceed the value of the car a lot. I noticed from the beginning that the moose when accelerating up to about 30 00 rpm accelerates very quickly, and then there is a kink, like when you walk off the gas, afterwards it accelerates felt slower and turns more involuntarily. But if I actually walk off the gas, and push through the pedal again, it goes much better.Of course, everything felt subjective. First I changed the poti at the DK, then distributor and runner, then LMM cleaned usv. No change. My elk just has 190 K on the counter. The lambda probe was 50K at km from the Previous owners at Volvo changed – so real 150 ran with the current probe. Stay in the narrow circle LMM, Lamdasonde, Kat and temperature sensor. Temperature sensor I let dive before 15 K at Volvo. So I now play with the idea to exchange the LS. And there are the problems: which ones? Soooo many different variants are spat out as suitable for my vehicle. Therefore please help, if one knows about it, mch to assist in the choice. ug: 2,5 170hp BJ 11/96. VIN YV1LS5522V2382682 The values of the AU did not print out to me the examiner, but I saw that the beam on the device was red.

ABS and Tacho failure
Evening, someone has had experience with my failure symptoms. It is a 850 106kw BJ96. The ABS falls out from time to time. The speedometer also had a suspension. I have already cleaned all ABS sensors once and checked the plug connections. I had already opened the control unit, but could not detect any defective soldering points. I also checked all PINS for passage through. I have now the assumption that it could also be a mass error, since auc Since this is a winter car for which I put 500Euro with 1.5years TÜV, my investment will is limited. Greetings Kirsche

Better sound in the 850er Kombi
Moin, after the collapse of the factory radio, I installed a Sony radio with 4×50 W in my 850s. Unfortunately, the factory boxes (are probably soaked by the previous owner and therefore already dead anyway) are completely overwhelmed. My approach would now be to replace the boxes. The installation of a power amplifier is too expensive for me. Unfortunately, the box is currently only very economical equipped with boxes – the shafts on top of the console under the windshield are completely empty, in front of the door I don’t know what’s in the back doors, because I didn’t get the disguises. What would you recommend to me? Is there actually a crossover in there somewhere? There would definitely be cables in all shafts already. And where can I put boxes in there? cheers daskandalboy

New here and the one or the other question…
Moin, moin, I’m new here and I want to introduce myself briefly. I’m Jürgen, bin 41 and I come from Schleswig Holstein. I’m a locksmith and hobbyist, actually 80 percent about cars. My hobby, or leisure car is an old Toyota Landcruiser, which I drive with a red 07 number. Because I’m currently still in the process of converting a 5 Series BMW 530i V8 to 4 liters. So, now on the subject of Volvo. I’m going to buy a Volvo 850 station wagon on Saturday, which will be used as an everyday vehicle. And I found one on the Internet… where the photos told me…:”Buy me…” This is the one I’m going to pick up on Saturday.http://www.autoscout24.de/details.aspx?… What do you think, he’s worth saving, or being kept alive,or…?
