Refurbishment of headlamp cleaning system V70 I
Hello dear Volvo municipality, I have a question about my moose again. Have to change now in my vacation before the normal bumpers to the variant of the cross country. Now the problem! The CC has a standard headlight cleaning system, my V70 unfortunately not. Had to get before the cover caps of vParts from Sweden, according to support they fit only to the “normal” bumpers. Therefore my question, can I upgrade the system without much effort? seen above the headlights are each red plug that lie free. Hope something like Plug&Play. LG Kai

V 70 1 hand brake
Hello guys. I hope you’re all doing well. Does anyone know you with the handbrake from the V70, Bj.99 2.4 Turbo?? It makes me despair. It pulls on both sides badly, right with a slight bang and quite suddenly. The pads are fine, I set them too. Feathers are also ok. Now I’ve disassembled both sides twice already and slowly don’t know any more. Thanks already in advance for advice.

Air conditioning goes, can’t
Hello, it’s about a Volvo 850 Bj.96 (97) 2,5 10v 144 HP almost 300,000km with manual air conditioning. I bought the vehicle well, let’s say in a not so good condition. With a lot of love and dedication it is now technically in a very good condition, except for the climate. The dryer and capacitor was renewed by me. Filled by a workshop with vacuum testing and filled with faith so about 720 grams. The climate cools super when it cools. It switches according to some It doesn’t seem to be near the evaporator at the vacuum switch, because I had already bridged it. Who has a piece of advice for me, how to limit the error. Can’t read out, neither with the flashbox, nor with the diagnostic device. Expansion valve was not changed, didn’t know where it was hidden.

Volvo 850R turbocharger 13G ? and improved V70 exhaust manifold …
Hello, has had a 850R (switch) since a short time and there is probably the turbocharger defective. The car does not have a proper suit, smokes blue ( loses a lot of oil from the exhaust ) etc. The turbocharger is apparently defective, since the previous owner had not changed the upper engine bearing, thus a crack in the exhaust manifold ended and then the turbo is probably extremely overheated… I then looked which one is installed there and it is a TD04HL-13G loader. Actually were the e but only installed in the 193PS softturbos or ? ( Can it be that the previous owner had another turbocharger installed there ? ) Do I have to get a 13G again (or have the overtaken) or can I just install the “normal 850R” 16T there without having to adapt anything to the software ? And about the exhaust manifold … I have read that in the 850er you can take the improved exhaust manifold from the V70 III ? … (How does such an “improved” exhaust manifold look like r – or where do you see the difference to the old version) Big thanks in advance Michael

Brake discs: normal, perforated, grooved
Hello I’m going to break my brakes. But I’m going to raetel which slices I should take. There are the “normal” slices, punched, grooved and punched with groove I’m not talking about 0815 parts here. I’m currently choosing EBC, Brembo or Black Diamond. I’ve read in some forums that there are cracks in the punched oefters because of the holes. In those with the groove (strike infrast) it’s easier to read that the cleats are covered faster and There’s rubble geraeusche in braking. Do you know more about it?

Volvo 850 GLT from 1992 Automatic
Hopefully I find here help It is a Volvo 850 GLT automatic from 1992. My transmission AW 50/42 LS has given up the spirit. In trailer operation the error 323 (converter bridge slips through) is reported. After the transmission flushing nothing has changed. So I am looking for a replacement transmission. volvo 850 2.5 20v autom. stutters under load when giving gas / error 3-1-1 and 1-2-2
hello together, the volvo has recently made the following problems: under load, i.e. when starting (also backward passage), giving additional gas (overtaking, on the mountain, etc.), the good news stutters. walking short from the gas and giving more careful, regas, is then the first help. but if I remain “on the gas” he is stuck in the endless stutter… the workshop of my trust has then the ignition coil, which really did not look so much (sparking tracks outside on the spit), swapping t. after that I had about 1 month rest and since the beginning of the week the volvo now has the same problems suddenly again. the 8er is my now 7th volvo, however the first automatic. and I am honestly not able to say whether I should type on a motor or a transmission problem. driving would be of course nice … running power is just beyond the 300,000 km. however… if the engine is cold, the symptoms rather appear or are more serious. The car drove the first 50 km from münchen to dresden completely restless. only after I deliberately gave a few times kickdown he drove calmly again at constant speed, only at the o. g. give additional gas he started to stutter again. that sounds like “motor problem”? when reading out the error code the box 3-1-1 and 1-2-2 gave me. 3-1-1 is supposed to be a missing speed signal from the transmission. that might hit, but still doesn’t know what exactly the result is. indicate or in which buildil in which case I would have to look for which error. 1-2-2 could perhaps be related to the abs sensor disease of the 8er? the abs/tracs light lights up from time to time and then extinguishes again if necessary. one of the front sensors has already been renewed in the entrance of a repair. in any case I would need a tip now or perhaps several of those who know better about the materie. thanks + gruss!
