  • Questions about performance improvement and AP Racing braking system Volvo 850 T-5

    Moin guys, and I have a few questions about my new T-5 ́s about the performance increase as well as the AP Racing brake system for the front axle. 1: Performance increase is entered, that means that the car was taken off on a test bench, so the performance could be entered ? In the case 205 or 210KW, have it not so exactly in the head. If yes, what was probably changed for this ? 2: AP Racing brake system on the front axle, how does it look here with the Ersat Is there any provider of brake discs and brake pads in Germany ?     Hi, does any of you drive a Simons system with a corresponding EC type approval? With the permission provided with me the entry for the 2.4T with 147 KW / 200 hp is missing – I think at least. The system itself fits (relatively) easily, even if the bells are not really suitable and also the pipes attached to the silencer could be welded a little better (damper is slightly bevelled).     Hello dear Volvo people Nu I have a problem where you might be able to help me further. I have already tried the search but found nothing. I was already at the Volvodealer, and I have processed the errors he has read, so I am now here again, in the hope that you can give me a tip. So to the mistake: I had the first problem about a year ago with the engine lamp for the Lama or also exhaust gas control (or however you can e) From this the following errors have lined up in the series, Lamdasonde after kat, was changed, then Lamdasonde before kat, also this probe was changed, then first quiet for three weeks, then after refueling again the error Lamdasonde before kat + throttle, then I drove to Volvodealer and read out, result : Thermosensor thermostat and air mass meter defective, then I changed everything including the throttle, yet the lamp remains n A short time on and when the engine gets warm the idle starts to fluctuate, if you want to start driving then it almost goes off but again Un catches and runs then almost normal says it has power and runs well. He now shows no error when reading out except for one that no one can explain to me until now, error 29. I despair so slowly we made one off and that was good so kat i.O. But nevertheless no posters because the lamp lights up. What can I now still do I don’t look through any more and what is this mistake 29? If anyone of you still has an idea then I would be very grateful. My Volvo is a V70i of 98 a Combi automatic SFT with 193 hp and almost 200 000 on the clock checkheft maintained.   • New coilover suspension MTS technology ‘Street’ with Eibach springs – experiences?

    Hello everybody, I’m looking for a new suspension (suspension and springs) for my Volvo V70i and I came across a relatively new coilover suspension from MTS, which I haven’t found any posts about in this forum yet. Has anyone installed it or already had experiences with it? I found information here in a Golf 1 forum and here in another Volvo forum. Meanwhile there seems to be expert advice. Somehow I can’t imagine that Eibach It costs about 649 €, which is just as expensive as the combination of Bilstein B4 + Eibach springs (currently: 636 €), which according to the forum (contribution) is a good variant. Only that dampers and springs are probably already coordinated from the factory and you can adjust the height. Of course, this can also be done with KW, but then at almost 3 times the price.     Hello, I had the air conditioner tested and replenished a month ago. The air conditioning system is tight and works perfectly. Only I noticed that the engine is running a bit restless. You notice this even without giving gas, for example at the traffic lights, and when driving even more clearly. It feels as if the engine, when the air conditioning is on, is not running well and rhythmically withdrawing. This only happens when the AC is on, otherwise the engine is running perfectly.   • Volvo 850 2.4L does not take 1 gear

    Servus together, I am 3 days a proud owner of a Volvo 850 GTL, with a 2.4L engine and automatic transmission, since yesterday. 01/1992 was the first registration. However, I bought it with a few problems (the price corresponds to). If I start it and turn it into D it is extreme and sometimes it goes out, however, I immediately give a bit of light gas if it stands on D I can drive it, if it turns from the first gear into the second gear, there are „strong rick, vice versa g so, from the 2nd to the 1st gear he jerks. If I brake him around for example the traffic light then is extremely jerking to get into the 1st gear. To that one has to say he has 345,000km, he stood good 5-6 years and was occasionally extended on red plates according to the previous owner, am the 2 owner.
