Hello dear V70i Allradgemeinde, next weekend I have to drive professionally across Germany and have the opportunity for my 1997 AWD 2.5T 193 PS 9101-761 Handschalter some parts cheaply as a stock replacement “to take away”. Since the corresponding sellers are however not able to write off a part number, here my questions: 1) Are there different drive shafts in the rear or are the in the AWD row all the same ? 2) Are there different visco couplings in the back in the gle housing ? housing up to approx. 2-1998 ? If there are differences, where are these ? Thank you for your help ! Greeting from Central Hesse. wegweiser2000

850s WITH WHOLE APPROPRIATIONS A WHOLE DOING ???????
Hi Elche Is there the possibility to get the “little” elk a little more splashy? After I’ve killed the You Tube madness … (I just needed that after I had torn out the black foil in the back of the second time and had said the bad word with F… too many times) …and I saw all the T5 and so on there, I wondered which devil rode me to buy the 10 valve………. Vllt someone knows “something”…only a bit……… Grüßle au s the South

Cold feet (footroom, flap control)
N’Evening, finally warm feet again during the car ride!! Today the stupid flap (wave) for the footroom exits repaired. Was broken after the length, therefore the actuator could also turn what he wanted – the flap remained to Whom so similar should drive again; is not so wild. 1. Handschufach out 2. lower fairing passenger footroom out 3. Stellmotor itself out (3 screws) Everything a bit fuzzy in there, but thanks to God relatively well accessible. Markus

Climate and no end
My story about my climate doesn’t end and I’m slowly at a loss. It’s not going to make any more fun… “problem” now, the compressor is running without a break. So it’s not clocking, as already reported. Today I was able to replace the two-pole, three-pole pressure switch and the relay test by test. Has everything done nothing, the compressor runs without a break and the system cools at 30 degrees really well. What can this be? It has to clock or? Actually, we want to go on holiday with the moose soon. Before that I would have liked to clarify it, otherwise we have to take the V50, which I don’t feel like much…

MM throttle valve normal idle even possible?
my v 70 has the mm DK. during uncoupling and braking the empty run has always been off. when the climate was on in summer it went down almost to 600 after uncoupling during braking. in the spring of 2014 lighted up from time to time to the ets lamp. had error read out. which had reference to the DK. workshop (free volvo workshop) then made such a test and said DK is ok. at least the ets lamp did not light up afterwards. however, the empty run when uncoupling with running climate while braking still strongly and then went in the stand again to 850 high. clean is the flap. I checked in september to the last. currently it is so that he is sporadically just before going out, then catches himself and jumps the speed up to 1200 and then settles again at 800 in the stand. stupidly he does this also when switching down on fast roads. so far he has fortunately not gone out. the air flow meter is in o rdnung. sounds like dk or? some people now write that this behavior is typical of the motor or dk. my question: is it possible with this DK in the v70 at all a normal empty run while uncoupled or will that always remain so even after a repair of the DK?

Farewell to the V70 TDI
Hello guys, after 2 years of V70 TDI I couldn’t resist, and bought me a VW Touareg 3.0 TDI. The Volvo has done me good service and was always happy with it, but now the time was ripe and something bigger had to come. First I looked at XC90, but the small trailer load went through a line there. The V70 has been logged off since yesterday, and is to be sold by the way. So if you can use a 99er with 446,000Km, you can gladly contact me via PN meld En. Greetings Stephan

Problem Reversing Headlights Rear Light Switch
Hello, I have a problem with our Volvo 850 from 1996. The reversing lights don’t shine anymore. I had changed the reversing switch on the gearbox last year and now it can’t be broken again. Does anyone ever have an idea for me? Has anyone ever had the problem of you??

850 MJ96 2.5 10V does not start
Hej, unfortunately my moose bothers me now after 5 years for the first time. Monday morning (when else?) I want to go: Start, pretend short as if, then only organs…. WFS has already deactivated the previous owner – it can’t be. BP is also running. I haven’t checked the pressure yet – I still do afterwards. In ignition lock position II would have to be 12V at the contacts of the ignition coil, wouldn’t it? Greetings from Baden

Automatic problems
Hello together. I already had the problem in the summer, that with very high external temperature the automatic in the stand (in driving stage D) for example is jerking at the traffic light and it then feels when starting up as if there was a wrong gear in it (no train), which then gives itself again, however, as soon as you have hit it. During the ride no problems, switches perfectly. In the error memory error “3-2-2 wrong translation ratio” was read out. Some time the problem had disappeared again – I I thought it was due to the high temperatures in the summer. Since yesterday, however, it appears again. The stand of the transmission oil is ok. I had searched here in the forum and found a thread that describes something similar. There was advised to change the ATF. My questions: Could this help? And what do I have to buy there? Do I get the ATF at ATU or where do I go best? What is the cost to me? And how complicated is that? I have to drive about 400km on Friday and ask whether I should do it better before. Or can I take the 400km drive (almost only motorway) without worry?
