Nivomat Eye Exchange
Hello At my ’99 V 70 I AWD I have to exchange the Nivomats. Now I have found a great offer for used, these come from a V70 II from 2008 . Since the recording on the axle another is I wonder if I can exchange the eye and accept the super offer of almost new Nivomats. Lowering just at the front. What is entryable? – Volvo 850
Moin, I’m just thinking about new shock absorbers. I bought a pair of Bilstein B4 for the VA (160€ with cuff and buffer) at a good offer. I want to keep the Nivos with factory springs at the back. I want to get down a little bit, about 30mm. The question is, which springs should I take. On the one hand, I only need the front ones (mostly sold as a set) and on the other hand, they should also be fit if I only install the front ones. e and a good discussion. Thank you Janko

Climate goes on and off all the time…
Hello dear community, I have a little problem! After I finally have my climate back on, I have to find out that it turns on and off all the time. That is, if I drive at 50km/h in the 3rd gear it jerks every few seconds and the climate relay switches! In order to rule out that it is the climate relay I have changed it already, without success! The system is definitely filled, because that turn on and off has already made it directly 5min after filling, v This is why it can’t be due to lack of gas. It cools perfectly, really ice cabinet in the stall!!! The jam air sensors are also changed and the compressor is a new used one, which should have fanned up until removal!! What could the problem be? Does anyone have an idea? The only thing that comes to my mind is that the distance of the magnetic coupling is a little too large, although it is purely optically super, but whether this is 0,6mm or something more can’t be said!! Rear seat belt roller clamps
Yes moin, and the next little but annoying problem: The belt roll is somehow stuck in the rear seat behind the driver’s seat in the 850. The belt cannot be pulled out. Smart as I am, I thought that it was because of this plastic nipple in the belt that the belt doesn’t go far enough to release the belt roll again. So I made the seat half forward, the plastic gap where the belt comes in slightly widened and let the belt further in. s that the belt is still stuck – in half-folded sitting condition – and the seat no longer goes up because the belt is tensioning. So now I have 4-seater… which wouldn’t be so bad if two child seats didn’t fit side by side in the back, which means that the EBH has to sit in the middle of the seat and I am looked at badly at every look in the rear mirror. In addition, the children knock on every ride about who can sit in front. Uncomfortable situation, not at all Volvo-like… How do I get to the belt roller mechanism? Is the plastic cover on the seat back riveted at the top of the edge? My pins don’t fit in… Greetz, TschoK

After I have used the SuFu several times in vain, I need your advice. My C70 2.4 T 193 PS Automatik Cabrio Bj. 2000 often starts very hard. If the engine is cold, the starting difficulties are rarer, if the engine is warm, 5-6 times must be “arranged”, or sometimes maintained. My wife, who keeps the car busy. The third (free workshop in Drakenburg specializing in Volvo) says it would be the crankshaft sensor. Spark plugs are new. Was also in the inspection. In the forum I also read about throttle valves, oil pumps and camshaft sensors. I am at a loss.

V70 2.5 oils after oil change
Good morning together, I already have the next question to the Volvo community. My Volvo was dry at the bottom, until the oil change. Now he thinks he has to oil. Exactly where could I not find out. The drain screw is dry. Makes me seem rather like it pushes out above the oil tank, in the direction of Fshrt. Through the driving wind the oil then spreads down at the bottom of the oil tank and then basically drips down next to the drain screw. Someone an idea or experience what it is can be and how I fix it. Should be nice and dry! Thank you!!!

Search Cat for C70 T5 – 07/1998 – Switches
Hello. For about 2 weeks it rattles with warm engine in the stand gas under the coupé and I have the fear that the cat dissolves slowly. With running engine knocking against the cat and it rattles in it….. So it is probably soon a change. However, I saw in the invoices of the previous owner that the cat was changed in 2010 already. The car currently has 172tkm on the clock…. To get a part for the vehicle from 09/1998 is apparently no problem…. But for my B My question: Is there still any sources of supply for the part? Could the cat for models from 09/1998 be built up and hope for the grace of the TÜV-man. Or does someone else have to leave such a part of you? I would be super grateful for tips or even offers!

Stupid running
Hej I was on the return journey from Sassnitz to Trelleborg, as the ferry started I wanted to start the engine, but he didn’t want to,battery empty. but no problem there was start assistance from the deck staff. so the start battery connected started the engine running, I was exiting door to disconnect the battery in the eyeball made it click and the centle lock closed all the doors.The engine ran the 2nd key was in the jacket in the car.The staff tried to help me,abe r the only possibility was to hit a windshield. my luck was only that the ferry remained in the harbour. then sas harbour staff arrived on board and someone came to call the Swedish adac on the idea. wait 2 hours, the staff provided me with coffee and cared for me. when the help arrived the one wooden wedge in the door in the crevice a cushion which he aublies with a fixed wire he unlocked the door. price 1500kr (150eur) now I could continue my journey. n after 6st I was at home. once again my thanks to the occupation of the sassntz happy firm you all Dieter
