  • S70 Tempomat does not work – single components but already

Hello everyone, after reading a lot of articles on this topic and following the solutions, I can’t go any further. In the meantime, I checked and ensured the following: – The vacuum pump works and the system can hold a stable vacuum and thus move the accelerator forward. I checked this, in which I bridged the corresponding contacts of the control unit. Accordingly, the linkage at the vacuum spring also eliminates as a cause of error. – The valve on the brake pedal is adjusted, for this I pushed through the pedal and pulled the switch forward as far as possible, then slowly left the pedal behind. – All switches and buttons on the flasher lever have passage when operated. – I changed the control unit for safety reasons, but did not detect any obvious defects. Neither with the old nor the new, does the cruise control work. Is there anything that I have not considered yet? I am very happy about advice! Greetings

  • Spring leg bearings, dome bearings ’97er 855

Hello everyone. I just registered and introduce myself very briefly. My name is Bruno, I married Bj. ’69, have 2 children and are from Switzerland. For 2 years we have a 855 2.5-20V which now has 312t on the clock, runs quite well and makes fun. Now to my problem. The spring leg bearings at the front are knocked out and when springing out give the quite loud noises of itself. Above all the right. On Skandix I found so many things about the whole to wec Hseln. On the one hand are the: spring leg bearings above (Article No. 1005032) spring plate top (1030157) edition, spring plate front axle top (1031280) My question, do I have the right parts together or is there anything missing? Thank you for your help, wish you a nice evening!

  • Question to the Yatour owners

Since I’m probably soon the owner of a mobile phone with usable Bluetooth A2DP functions, is the moose to be expanded soon by a Yatour with Bluetooth module. Now my question: would it work to listen to music at the same time via Bluetooth and to connect a Navi via the AUX-In? That would be pretty cool practical.

  • Joint set drive shaft

Hello together, my 850 moose has a change of drive shaft joints on the wheel side. Both sides. Do you have any recommendations for a manufacturer. SKF always goes, but is there any useful for smaller money? Or is it not recommended? Skandix? Polar Parts? Thank you for one or the other answer.

  • Muttis 850 TDI has no power: Find a cause?

The engine sounds healthy, does not smoke and the engine control light is not on. The car does not accelerate almost at all and even tractors can be overtaken only with a little bit of running. The consumption is just over 6 liters according to the display. The only thing that is striking is that the ABS and traction control warning lights are permanently on. Is there a way to find out what is going on? * Could it be a non-functioning traction control, or is it nonsense? * How can we proceed without swapping any motor sensors on suspicion? * Are there common suspicious problems that bring this problem with them? We would be very grateful for any help. I have found nothing really useful in the search so far (especially not for lack of engine power if necessary). something to do with the ABS control unit …)

  • Brake fluid level

Dear Volvisti! I just noticed that the brake fluid level is far above maximum. Above there is hardly any air. Is this a hint that the brake pulls water somewhere. The last change was made 2 years ago. Is it done with a brake fluid change? What have you got for tips?

  • Reputable salesman??

https://www.ebay-kleinanzeigen.de/…/1356128378-216-2135 I already had this Volvo “as good as bought” (by phone and mail). Yesterday I was sent a “purchase contract” which was strange at first (and second glance). handwritten, no official document important information was missing (specify previous owners, number of keys, damage, confirmation of vehicle and money transfer etc) Then I suggested to use a purchase contract from the ADAC. z download. OHA – wrong answer! No, this would not happen in any case, it would only apply TO THE sales contract. Then the trade does not come about… Oh yes, and the purchase price is also to be paid BEFORE in FULL amount, even if I come from HH and he is in Duisburg. First transfer or in cash at pickup, then output of the car… What should you think about it now? Quite apart from the fact that in the conversation still a few defects have appeared, which are not in the advertisement e But you can still live with it if you know it and are ready (and have the opportunity) to fix it. • ABS lamp lights – control unit ok

Hello, I have a problem with my Volvo. The ABS and TRACS lamps light up permanently. We soldered and tested the control unit. All 4 sensors are now new. At the last read out (after installation of the control unit) it shows the error sensor at the front left and back right. At the back right it was possible to delete, but not at the front left. Just changed the sensor at the front (the old one had the same resistance values), but the lamps are always on. djemand can help me. Achso car is: Volvo 850 Built. 12/95 170 HP / Petrol / 20V Greeting Horst

  • V 70 Axle cuffs cannot be used

When I called to ask about the situation, I was told that the cuffs were not changed because the drive shaft was not to be removed. HÄ? Can someone tell me what that could be? The workshop worked with puller, welding torch to make the warm…. Everything without success. I have read that probably the shaft is glued in at the 850er, this is also the F at the V 70. all? If it was made hot then the glue would have had to dissolve if it existed so far so that the wave could get out. Or am I wrong? Car is disassembled in the workshop and they don’t know any further without destroying it. Can someone help me or do I have to go to the dealer? MfG Kay

  • Do you want me to do it or leave it (complete painting)?

Good day on the part of everyone, have been plagued for some time, I am driven by doubts and uncertainty has driven me into the limbs…. I intend to have my vehicle (MJ98, 380000km, diesel) completely painted. Cost point with complete stripping (of the car), painting at the top as well as below should be 1600 – 1800€.Inclusive invoice and warranty. Now the cabinet wall rusts at all places a bit (swinger, tailgate, fender behind, bonnet a little bit ), the paint has burst off (scaffolder v+h) and the previous owner parked the box under an oak (roofing over the roof). Now in autumn I decided to let it be done, because I intend to move the car for a good 10 years…I also remodeled the interior and kept the car well maintained and technically in shot. And the best thing: my wife is playing along! Now the date of the painting is getting closer and closer and slowly MIR comes to doubt the act. ion! I was able to convince the woman and I’m afraid?!? there’s something wrong….180€ are a lot of wood for such an old diesel hurling, which is not allowed to drive anywhere anymore. tell me your opinion: – should I ? – or not? Best regards Daniel
